Riah was'nt someone who was necessarily too shy and anti social but just the type to bottle up her feeling and never tended to tell you alot about herself but as a child Riah was just so full of life and laughter. during her pre teens Riah developed an social anxiety, Riah doesnt remember why or how she started feeling anxieties but she has an vague idea of when. Otherwise Riah is very comassionate, nurturing, protecting and caring of her family, friends and lovers something that natrually come to her. Riah's a person who listens to everything one has to say, trying her best to understand them without judging or criticizing. Just like how Riah's with her loved ones she tries to stay true with everyone and once she does open up, she's someone that's also outgoing introvertly, loves living and cherishing every moment. Riah's also inspiring or in other words manipulating, "to inspire others to go live their lives freely without fear doesnt matter what anyone says or thinks, you live the life you want" but she fails to take her own advice.
Regardless she can cut to the bone with her jealous remarks and ever-changing mood. She is extremly indecisive and depends alot on her friends opinions, however at the end of most days she does what she wants. Endearingly eccentric on one hand, and on the other, insecure about how others see her. She can often come off as being too possessive and attached leading her to believe its best not to let everyone in and saving on any form of heartbreak, she's afraid of repercussion, rejection and anything to hard for her heart to handle. Appearing hard and insensitive on the outside gives people the illusion of her being mentally strong however deep inside lies a soft and sensitivie girl that can make one feel so very special. It's not that she feels the need to push people away because of someone or something that happemed but just because of the fact that she was simply born this way.

"When it all begun" - Riah's parents were probably the first to get married to a different ethnic in their family history, Riah's mother was a nepalese hong kong citizen and her father being one of the few koreans who were serving the british army. They met through mutual friends while her mother was in college when her father came to Hong Kong for duty purposes, they instantly fell in love and dated for 3 years before their family history changed. On the 30th of June, 1998 came along their second one and only daughter Riah, soon after came the third youngest boy and the family was complete. Due to her fathers job her family got the chance to permanently move to the UK.
"Her new beginning" - Riah had always aspire to be a singer ever since she was a tinsy winsy baby, according to her mother if you played her favourite song and leave out to the market she'd be dancing and singing along all day. As Riah grew up Riah took an interest in arts&crafts. After getting into Kpop her dreams to be a singer grew stronger and decied to that was what she wanted to do. Her father saw this as a chance to bring out the family for a vacation too, Riah had planned to go to seoul to audition only but things didnt go as planned and Riah didnt make it despite all her efforts. Despite so Riah had decided to stay and try out once again in the future when she's ready. Riah's family were supportive of what she wanted to do and left her in the care of her paternal grandparents. The first 2 years Riah went to an international school so she could learn about the korean culture and language although she wasnt unfimiliar with the language but she wasnt that fimiliar either. During middle school Riah made friends that would stick with her through thick and thin, Eunwoo and Bin. Eunwoo and Bin were bestfriends since the elementry and heck even their parents were old friends, these two are so different yet alike. Eunwoo being the A* star student who enjoys photograpy where as Bin being the total opposite who has a passion for dancing, personality wise they're both so charismatic and passionate. Being 24/7 with her two bestfriends on top of that 'male' bestfriends Riah recieved her fair share amount of bullying, which did gradually stop but during around that time was when Riah developed her anxiety. By the end of her middle school, It was then when Riah completely shut her emotions out.
"Gradutation! Prom Committee?" - Riah, Eunwoo and Bin were all so excited to have got into Joongdong High School, they all were excited to join the clubs the school had to offer. Riah choose the art and drama club, Eunwoo choose the photography club and Bin choose the dance club. In their 2nd year their tiny group of 3 turned to 5 with the welcoming of 2 new students Adachi Sana and Yuto who had just moved from Japan. Sana was a freshman and was also on the dance club while Yuto was a 2nd year just like them and was on the athletic club's baseball team. By the 4th year everyone was busy doing their own stuff, Yuto had drifted apart from the group, Sana had now joined the cheer squad and was dating Bin, Eunwoo was still Eunwoo except the fact that he was now also on the student coucil team (yay for Eunwoo) and Riah? well she was trying her best to finish the year with a good grade and getting herself perpared for when she finishes high school, she still had alot to think about if she wanted to pursue music or arts and design. Finding out through Ms. Ahn that Riah had been put up to spending her final year helping out the prom committee gave her great anxiety to the point where she wanted to disapper into thin air, spending the rest of the coming months with people she's never talked to! and putting her skills on display for the whole senior year to see! and if she failed to do her best? Riah doesnt even wanna know.

+ Gurung Anju - Mother - 45 - She may have been closer to her father but as a little girl her mother had always been her role model, she wanted to grow up and find her own prince charming just like how her mother did and live happily forever. Riah's passion for music comes through her mother as her mother too wanted to be a great singer.
+ Woo Rome - older brother - 21 - He's not much of a good role model but his better then the little one, atleast he studies in a good uni but other than that nothing special. They're not on bad terms but they just dont talk much to each other.

+ Cha Eunwoo - 19 - Eunwoo has been Riah's bestfriend eversince middle school, no one knows Riah better than Eunwoo. Eunwoo once told Riah he wanted to be friends with her because he thought she was pretty but as they grew closer he realised it was not only that but the fact she was so caring towards people.
+ Moon Bin - 19 - Bin being bestfriends with Eunwoo was the reason they were friends in the first place apart from Eunwoo, Bin is the second one that knows her in and out. Also one of the person that has seen Riah dance.
+ Adachi Sana - 18 - Sana loves Riah more than she loves Yuto, anything that happened between them two doesnt change the fact that Riah is still one of her closest friend and soul sister!

+ Oh Jiae - 18 - Thanks to Sana Riah knows Jiae is the kindest soul in Joongdong High although Riah doesnt understand what she likes about the rude Hongseok but at the same time Riah understands falling in love. Just like with her friends Riah doesnt hesitate to show Jiae how she is or to let Jiae in bit.
+ Ms. Ahn and Ms, Kim - 30 - Riah relies on Ms. Ahn and considers her like a mother figure, Ms. Ahn maybe the drama teacher but she together with Ms. Kim have helped her alot on both fields although Riah does slightly feel betrayed but looks past it because she knows one of the main reason Ms. Ahn put her in the committee was that she believed in her and so she could come out of her shell have a fun final year.

+ Riah has a fair yet slightly tanish skin, she also used to have long thick hair which she loves to experiment with color wise but currently has shoulder length dark redish hair which is much more eficent for her at times when she's running late. Regardless though she still enjoys her days wearing extension which stands right below her chest. No visible scars currently but has a tiny pea size blueish birthmark on her wrist. Riah also loves wearing her black circle lens not because she wants to make her eyes big but to even out the iris from the whites, it was always an insecurity of hers. Riah also has had her ears pierced 7 altogther, on the left including double lobe, taurus, rook, conch and the cartilage and 1 classic lobe on the right. Not a big fan of tattoos. As for makeup Riah perfers a natural look with neutral shadows, black liner, her go to pinkish tint and some foundation and light contour. Riah also loves any color thats dark but especially black hence you'll be seeing her rocking matte black nails alot.
+ Outside of school Riah loves fashion although her style isnt usually always on trend, Riah has her own style depending on her mood. Riah loves the colder seasons and thats the reason her love for jumpers come from, almost half of her wardrobe is consumed with this holy grail of hers. she enjoys clothes that are comfortable. most of the time you'll see her in some skinny jeans and oversized jumper. Riah also loves her oversized T-shirts and jackets. her big tees come in very handy for hot summer days as she wont be able to wear her beloved jumpers otherwise she'll die of heat.
+ Tiny obssesion with Accessories. From bags to rings you name it, Riah loves dainty/vintage accessories thats where her love for vintage things come from. You'll see her fingers full of rings, neck full of necklaces and ears full of tiny studs and rings nothing too big or fancy.
+ Trainers are her bestfriend. She likes comfortable thing and she'll choose trainers over anything, heels are good too but just not her cup of tea...she'll wear boots with heels for a change. So far she only owns about 3 pair of heels, about 5 pairs of boots and a whole bunch of trainers
+ Inside of school Riah perfers to look as simple as she can with minimal to no makeup, a simple low ponytail or straighten with extentions. When it comes to uniform Riah doesnt really mess with it or care about fashion, apart from wearing leggings and jackets or sweaters over or under her blazer. She's happy with the uniform.

• At the first glance you'll think Yuto is expressionless, generally stoic and has this mysterious aura to him, he's is tall, good-looking and has a model like physique which makes the girls drool and the boys envy him but opposite to what he looks though Yuto is actually very expressive than one thinks, he's easily scared, he's somewhat shy and quiet at times but also be very friendly and comfortable. Yuto also doesnt show his emotions instead he shows how much he cares through his actions, making the effort to let one know he cares with all acts of kindness. He's the kind of friend you'd be able to talk about anything too, the kind you'd be able to completely be yourself around, to be able to let all your guards down and of course he'll do the same. Yuto's also the type to get jealous easily but wouldnt say anything rather tends to bottle it up inside him and act weirdly stiff and odd for the rest of the day until you asure him. Yuto is also very athletic, diligent, ambitious and a passtionate person, Yuto's the MVP pitcher of his baseball team, this means he is always attracting attention let it be from boys or girls both were to be appreciated. Yuto thrives to be the best player of Joongdong high, he deserves it for how much effort he puts into practicing and on top of that keeping up with the studies.
After all Yuto is human too, he's bound to have flaws of his own some even he may have never realised.Yuto maybe ambitious but with it come his great stubborness, his determination not to change or back down sometimes puts him in a bad position especially if he chooses to put on his pokerface. If one had'nt known him, he'd defo pass off as the bad boy. Yuto is also a little inconsiderated especially when it come to Riah's worries to him over working himself.
your first meeting..
• Riah and Yuto met during their 2nd year in Joongdong High. Yuto's sister Sana had joined Bin's dance club fortunatly for them they quickly became friends, that's how Sana was first introduced to them. Later the same day at lunch Sana came along with Yuto and introduced her brother to everybody. Although Riah liked what she saw she was still very reluctant about opening up to the siblings especially Yuto, apart from the boys no guy had ever seemed too bothered to get to know her which flashed red light in her mind. Everyday at lunch it would be Bin and Sana sitting together talking amogst themselfs (*WinkWink*) and Riah sandwiched between Eunwoo and Yuto, weeks went by despite his desperate tries to initiate a conversation, Riah would always reply with a short and simple "yes", "no" or "i'm not sure". At lunch a week later Yuto and the boys were talking about how the baseball team try outs were taking place and that he'd love for them to come and cheer on him, the boys were excited to go as for Riah she had a full on debate going in her head. On the morning of the try outs Yuto had waited by the gates for Riah to come to school, he wanted to personally tell her that he really wanted her there and that he doesnt know what or who did her wrong but if only she'd give him a chance to prove himself worthy, little did he know Riah had decied to let him in and because of what he had done she slightly lost her heart to him.
Few months after the try out Riah and Yuto slowly but surely grew closer which eventually lead him to ask her out, nothing too big and extravagant as he knew how much Riah hated being the center of attention so after school when there was probably no student with the help of the squad and Ms. Ahn the drama room was lit with candles, one part of the the wall were covered with paintings, print outs and tapes made into a heart, the projector was on indicating there was a video. All the guys and Sana took turns letting her know how much they appreciated her and loved her, as the video ended Yuto walked in saying his part about how much of a pain it was to just to get her to talk with him and ended with a thank you and i love yous.
A few more months into their relationship Yuto was given the oppurtunity to play his first offcial game for the school, everyone was buzzing and excited to go watch his first game. Although Riah hated being around huge crowds Yuto was playing and she would'nt have missed it for anything. It was the final moment of the game Yuto was pitching for the final rounds, his goal was to hit an out and finish the game. thankfully luck was on his side Yuto pitched three strikes and tagged the batter out winning his first game and claiming the title as the ace. this was only the start of Yuto and Riah's rollercoster journey, as the months went by their relation was going strong and steady. It was during the 3rd year Yuto started to be distant himself, Riah thought maybe he was just busy with balancing practice and school. Soon enough Yuto had stopped eating lunch with them, stopped walking home together but that was the least of her concerns. The amount of times Yuto had started an argument telling Riah to open up and be like everyone else because apperently Riah was a no one, no one knew her like they knew the other girls. He hated everytime his friends from the team would give in remarks of how Yuto could do better, he wanted to proudly show everyone that she too can be like everyone. Yuto and Riah had broke up in the middle of their 3rd year, She couldnt do it no more she couldnt handle anymore criticism and eventually broke down. More than anyone else Riah had expected Yuto the person she loved to love her back regradless of her shortcomings.

• when they got together - Riah had never before felt anything like the day yuto had waited for her by the gates, she felt a tight knot in her tummy which eventually fluttured into butterflies. Everytime Riah saw Yuto her face would instanty brighten, Riah wouldnt have wanted anyone else except him besides her, Yuto was her first love, the first boy to ask her out. till this day Riah remembers the first time she fell for him. As for Yuto he claimed his love for Riah was totally unwavering, he showers her with compliments. When alone Yuto would often kiss her forehead or the top of her head, won’t really instigate skinship but will go along with it. Riah gets constant access to his aegyo which surpisingly he has alot, back hugs with his hands around your waist. Yuto knew the first time they meet that he wanted to be by her side, protecting her although she was no damsel in distress. Everything she did he found cute, even more when she was flustered, her tiny smile could brighten his whole day. Because Yuto knows how much Riah hates walking home alone and also because likes to know that Riah is safe, so he always walks with her or asks the either Sana, Bin or Eunwoo to walk with you when he can’t. During school sport days he loves to show off his athletic skills in front of everyone and loves winning for Riah when he’s on her team and also cheers like crazy too when it’s Riah's turn for batting. When ever he see's you walking by the baseball field always makes sure to waves hi or bye.
After their break up - Riah and Yuto seemed to agree upon not acknowledging each others existence but then fate decides to surpise them. Seeing Yuto in the same room right across her Riah didnt know what she was feeling she wanted to laugh and cry at the same time, though they only dated for a year she really loved him, she missed having him by herside, she missed everything he did, she missed him teaching her japanese and always rewarding her with kisses and most of all she really missed him. And seeing Yuto again made it definate that she never stopped loving him, her heart still fluttered like the first she met him. Yuto on the other hand was totally oblivious and in denial towards his own feelings and for the mean time he was enjoying his freedom
end game..
• When both Riah and Yuto get placed into the prom committee the feelings they thought were gone comes creeping back. Yuto and Riah would often smile at each other but wouldnt talk or approach each other and it bothered him litlle, in fact it bothered him alot. Despite Eunwoo not being on the prom committee he still would often come around and help Riah out especially knowing how Riah is and it also bothered him that Eunwoo was always there one step ahead of him, Yuto was secretly worried that something was happening between them two and so he was being cautious and attentive to that matter. The more time Yuto spent with the prom committee he realises that it was okay to be different as long as they meant something to you it was all that mattered, not everyone was born the same and if we did imagine how boring life would be. Few weeks before prom Yuto finds the ring necklace he had gave Riah which she dropped while unpacking the materials but was too busy to realise so, it was like the heavens signs telling him theres still a chance. During the next few week Yuto prepared himself to ask Riah out to the prom tho one day he hears the girls talking apparently Eunwoo told (TOLD not asked) Riah he'd go with her to the dance because loved and care for her plus what are bestfriends for right? Hearing this Yuto thought he lost, but he missed the part where Riah told her friend to go and ask someone he wanted to go with cause its prom and she didnt want him to make it about her.
on the day of prom everyone busy finishing up the place for the night, everyone was buzzing excited except for two people Jiae and Yuto, Riah wasnt sure who to approach thinking maybe Jiae was just stressed about the night she took the courage and went to Yuto, it would be their last night together and it'd be regretful to have left things with him like that and maybe she was even secretly hoping he'd still ask her. As it was time to go home for the first time in a year everyone was walking home together well minus Bin and Sana, Yuto and Eunwoo dropped Riah off first as them two lived fairly close to each other. Their 15mins journey felt like hours to Yuto as they neared his house Yuto handed Eunwoo the necklace Riah dropped and told him that he once gave it to Riah and what it meant, Yuto told Eunwoo how he felt sorry for what he made her go through despite knowing Riah and her issues. He wished him luck and told him he deserved her and to never make the mistake he did, Eunwoo with a straight face told him he would never do anything to hurt her he is her bestfriend after all and that Yuto was so stupid. Eunwoo handed the necklace back to him while shedding some light into how Riah still loved him while jokinly insulting him about how he should stop thinking about baseball only and focus more on whats happening around him. Before leaving Eunwoo asked him if he knew who Riah was going to prom with and told him to go pick her up, Yuto stood there dumbstruck for a second. While leaving Eunwoo jokely yet with a serious expession to him if he stood there all night long and missed the chance to get Riah back he'd for reals come and beat him up.
The big night was just an hour and Riah was still in here room fanatically searching for her necklace, she wanted to wear it one last time tonight before she would return it too. As Riah was doing so Yuto on the other hand was nearvously waiting out her door debating what to do next, he nervously rings the bell within a moments Riah opens the door looking gorgeouse in her black prom dress. Both shocked at what they were seeing they stood in silence before Yuto took the lead and gave her a black box while Riah opened up the box Yuto started telling her how he felt and everything. Riah couldnt wait to let the girls know as they got to the venue everyone was there except Jiae, seeing how everyone was getting concerned they decied to search for. Riah felt deeply guilty about leaving her be this morning if only she took even a mintue to ask her if everything was alright, she felt very sorry and thoguht if only.

I started writing the app for this fic on the 11/02 its been more than one month, I've just had the worst lack of inspiration ever XD My back up plotline would defo be the forgeiner but I wish there was one more plotline like the school's muse or something haha but I hope you like her. P.S I got such a nostalgic HSM 3 vibe T.T I miss it. P.P.S Thank you for the extension and i hope you listen to both of the songs. I didnt get to go to my prom but I hope Riah does xx
