I was trying to place a bid to advertise my fic but there is something called an auto-bid that outbid me immediately??? but someone said something about advertisement shops? Do you guys know of any good ones? And what is the auto-bid feature? That's so stupid
auto-bid happens when someone bids a certain amount that they're willing to go up to. so say the highest bid on a certain day is at 2000, but i bid 3000. if you come along and bid 2500, the system would automatically bid for me even if i'm not online. only when you beat the max amount that someone bid will the auto-bid feature not be in place, so if you were to bid 3010, then you would be the highest bidder. does that make sense?
advertisement shops are exactly what the name says. they're shops that will advertise your story for you (by posting on walls and/or making blog posts) for a certain amount of karma
