Kira grew up in not the best enviorment. At the young age of four, her mother became addicted to drugs and left her and her sister Natasha and Sunmi. Her sisters followed down the same path and got addicted to drugs and alcohol. Kira saw herself venturing the same way her senior year in high school, so she enlisted in the Marine Corps and left straight after high school. While Kira was in the military she started college in hopes to one day becoming a nurse. She deployed to Afghanistan 2 years in to her enlistment, and sustained an Injury, which led her to being medically discharged. While recovering, Kira not only continued college, but she also pursued her music that she once dabbled in during high school. She began filling notebooks with raps and songs that she had created. She got so passionet about her music, that she sent multiple demos to various record label industries in Korean, Russian, and America. She even auditioned to Show Me The Money, but due to her father getting into an accident she wasnt able to participate. She put some of her songs on soundcloud and posted them on youtube, facebook, and twitter as well. She recieved some attention, but the rejection letters started coming in so she lost her hope. When she graduated Nursing School, she began pursuing music for fun. She had a part time job as a Trauma Nurse in Chicago. She lived with her cousin Amanda who was her best friend. Kira could often be taken as serious and cold, but there were times you could catch her singing, rapping, and dancing with the patients to cheer them up. She gained some popularity as the Rapping Nurse of Chicago. This was how AOMG discovered her. After their concert in Chicago, they were hit by a car on their way to the airport. The ambulance took gray to the hospital due to the fact he needed stitches. When Simon went to go find a vending machine at the ER, He passed a patient room, where he saw Kira dancing and rapping to cheer up one of her patients. He took a video of it and sent it to Jay. He went back to Grays room and showed gray the video as they waited for their nurse to come in to stitch him up, sure enough it was Kira. She introduced herself and sat down next to Gray and asked if he would like her to distract him. He of course said yes, knowing what was going to happen. So Kira began freestyling as she stitched him up, Simon jumped in and began rapping with her. He ended up getting her number so they could talk music outside of the workplace. Jay ended up finding her soundcloud and some videos of her rapping and dancing with patients. This was how she was discovered by AOMG..
