jeon bomi or young was born on october 31, 1998 in jeju-do, south korea. her family is consists of her father, mother and twin brothers. her father is a doctor while her mother is an author also a housewife. her twin brothers is still a student. bomi is the eldest in the siblings. talk about siblings, of course they're really close. but there's still a small fight and argue between bomi and mingyu. minki's personality is opposite with mingyu. he is quiet, introvert and more obedient than mingyu. minki would find bomi to ask for good advice and opinion before he does anything. minki also respects bomi amd wanted to have a girlfriend like his sister one day. bomi really loves her parents because they're understanding, open-minded and supports whatever their daughter did.

at school, she make many friends. since she is very friendly and easygoing, people can get along with her. she might not be an excellent student in her school, but the teachers know her very well because she was active on every activities except academy. there's once she got a detention because she didn't do her homeworks. yes, she is the naughty girl in school. she loves to do what she wants and kind of a rebel girl.

honestly, she had never dreamed to be an idol. she wanted to be an author or doctor before. but after she knew bts, she has interested in music and started to sing, dance and even rap. she really loves kpop and wanted to go to korea someday, her thought. she would listen to bts's songs everytime anywhere and introduced them to her friends. after day goes by, she kept up-to-date about bts and officially became an army to support them. she several times meeting with bts members at the fanmeeting and kinda know them closer.

back in the year of 2015, she decided to join an audition for bighit entertainment through an online audition. unluckily, she wasn't accepted in the company due to her lack talent. after one year, she was scouted by jellyfish entertainment on the street and auditioned 1 week later. she luckily passed and became one the trainees. she didn't often get rest but she had fun. she was trained about 1 year 11 months in the company. she might have to practice almost 12 hours non-stop but she didn't care. she never thought she would came this far. at last, she's finally to be part in jellyfish's first girl group 'gugudan'.
