Personality :
Throughout everything that Sohee has been through, she began to develop her own sense of independence and learn that the best person to trust with certain things is herself. She believes that she is the master of her own fate and is hardly ever influenced by others and is not afraid of what others have said about her. Because of her independence, she is immune to other people manipulative thought system and because of her controlling behaviour and her even stronger manipulative ways as she can control and manipulate those who are trusting of her and who are also mentally weaker than she is. Sohee has a penetrative mind that those who are aware of it are fearful of its strength. Often asking questions she always wants to know the possible details as she delves deeper to survey and carefully observe the situations and figure things out. Weary of the games that people play, she is also aware of it uses this to her advantage and is often not afraid to dominate and control them to her advantage.
Sohee is a person who is adaptable to any situation or circumstance thrown at her and often acts on an impulse and tends to be compulsive. She does not always plan but acts on what she feels is right in that circumstance. She is not scared to take the fall and does so without worrying about the aftermath as carelessness also comes hand in hand with her impulsive behaviour. If the process of progressing requires her to make risky situations she often jumps into it without any fear whatsoever. Background :
Early on in their marriage Lee Subin was told that she was unable to conceive any children. Not wanting to give up, and still in constantly denial, her and Choi Seunghyun were insistent on having children, despite their doctors orders. It was not until Subin’s mother had gained a bit of weight, bloating of the stomach that would not go down and had noticeable fatigue, that she went to the doctor to find out that she was indeed pregnant. On February 29th, 1996, Sohee was born but life have decided to not give them a happy ending that they deserve.
Seunghyun was the owner of Choi Enterprises, a green company that is based in Korea. Although the company is mostly known for their military defence contractor, Choi Enterprises also is involved in the criminal rehabilitation sector that have been secretly experimenting on their criminals without the knowledge of their family.
Sohee had a good and happy childhood until the eve of her twelfth birthday when she watched her parents murdered before her very eyes. Her parents and her were walking home from a theatre one night with her when they were held up at gun point by a hitman, who posed as a mugger, who demanded her mother’s diamond ring and pearl necklace that Subin was wearing. When her father refused to surrender it, both him and Subin were shot dead in the streets. Soon she was then raised up on the family estate with help from their family’s wise and loyal butler, Nam Minjoon. Sohee was only kept alive because of orders from a person who worked under her parents and wanted them dead. The person who gave the order had thought that Sohee would be an easy push over and would be easily maniplated into doing whatever they wanted her to do. However, with her faithful bulter by her side constantly, it was hard to get what they wanted out of her.
Sohee spent the next few years traveling the world, training herself intellectually and physically. It was only until she was the age of fifteen that Minjoon had decided to send her to a private school in Seoul, to make friends as she had very few during her childhood. Throughout her teenage years she continues to train herself in a variety of crime fighting skills, including chemistry, criminology, forensics, martial arts and gymnastics.

Her parents raised her with good values and taught her right from wrong. Sohee was her father's little princess and he would constantly spoil her with anything she wants. Seunghyung is also very affectionate and loving and would give his family the world of possible. Everyone who met him only has good things to say about him.
- Mother (Deceased) — Lee Subin / Second in command of Choi Enterprise & Part time philanthropist / 43 / Lovable, Humble, Sociable, Blunt & Impatient. / Lee Subin, one of the most powerful and humble female figures in Korea. She is family oriented and loves her daughter more than anything in the world. They have a very close bond that is almost impossible to come in between.
- Legal Guardian — Nam Minjoon / Family Bulter & Second in Command at Choi Enterprise / 55 / Loyal, Capable, Efficient, Firm, Intelligent & Blunt. / Nam Minjoon is a one of the most loyal and trust worthy people to be known. He served in the army when he was young and was very skilled in fighting and defence. It was not until he was discharged he found himself jobless and in the wrong crowd, until he met with Sohee’s father who offered him a place to stay until he could get back onto his feet. Not long after he was hired by Seunghyun to be the family’s butler and he accepted it happily with grace. He had served the Chois for twenty-five years and will forever remain faithful to them. He doesn’t have children but he loves Sohee like his own. He is also very disciplined and convinced Sohee to take the sport as it would help her if the situation ever is needed. They have a mutual interest of movies and books and always have deep conversations together.

- Best Friend — Jennie Kim / Student: Environmental Science / 21 / Calm, Cooperative, Naive, Soft & Cowardly. / They met in high school at the tender age of fifteen. Jennie was bullied throughout middle school and it unfortunately carried to high school. On the first day of high school Jennie was being knocked around by a group of girls who were accusing Jennie of sleeping around and kissing another person’s boyfriend. While other people crowd around and speculate, it was Sohee who came in and started pushing the other girls out of the way telling them to lay off Jennie even if she didn't know her at all and started a fight. Sohee got suspended on her first day of school. But she didn't care, as her father told her to always stand up and help those who can't help themselves.
- Best Friend — Park Rose / Student: Investments / 21 / Charismatic, Cheerful, Faithful, Tough, Indecisive & Obvious. / Their parents are the best of friends and it's no surprise that their children are too. Sohee was always there for Rose and Rose was always there for Sohee. They stuck together throughout elementary school and high school along with Jennie and Lisa. The four of them always had each other's back throughout high school and does not even hesitate one bit when defending the other during high school.
- Best Friend — Lalice Manoban (Lisa) / Student: Global Econimics / 21 / Ebullient, Forigiving, Humble, Foolish & Dependant. / Sohee's father was holding a company gathering inviting company owners and shareholders of the company to a big party. Sohee who was quite young was quite the adventurer and was exploring when she found Lisa crying under the table because she had lost her parents. Sohee comforted her and helped her find her parents later that night. Their parents thought it was cute that they had become friends in the short few hours and allowed them to communicate and visit each other a lot. It was when Lisa was 15 she decided to put all her years of learning Korean to use by moving from Thailand to Korean to attend a Korean high school with Sohee. There she met with Sohee, Rose and Jennie and they all became the best of friends since then.

Do you have a part-time job? If so, where and what is your position? : She doesn’t work but she is the owner of her family’s company. She has “trustworthy” people working for her. She pockets most the money that the company makes. From time to time if needed, she would sit down with the board of directors as they discuss major things that would impact the company. However, recently the board of directors have discreetly made decisions behind her back without her knowledge.
Are you currently living in a dorm room or elsewhere? : She lives in the family manor just a little outside of Gangnam. She would live on campus but it is considered safer to be at home because of the security system. It's not hard to miss it when you drive past it.
Description of residence/dorm room : Her family Manor is a victorian mansion down near the gated community outside of Gangnam. It is decorated the way her parents left it and Sohee didn't want to change anything about it. (Here is a video tour of all the main rooms for you to get the gist of what it looks like. all the rooms have a similiar theme.)
Do you have a roommate or do you live alone? If you have a roommate, who is it and how do you feel about them? : You can also choose to have another oc as your roommate. Sohee lives with her family bulter. With the exception of her friends sleeping over sometimes or family staying over for a holiday.
Would you describe yourself as studious? How often do you study and where do you like to do so? : Motivated by the idea of taking over her family's company when she is ready, she tries her best to do her best with her studies but sometimes her habits get in the way of them.
How often are you in your room? : She spends a lot of time in her fathers office as she studies there, reads and goes through his library to learn more about her family's company. She is mostly home when she is not at University. But on weekdays she spends most of her time outside, shopping with her friends, going on hikes, going shopping and visiting the company.
Where do you spend most of your time? : At University, shopping, expensive cafes, her friends places and clubbing. Or she would travel around to different countries for meetings and for pleasure for a few days.
What time do you normally arrive back at your room during the week and weekends? : Weekdays she'll usually head home straight away after class or after the clubs if she has no plans. so around 5-7pm. Her butler drives her to and from University. It varies. Weekends are a different story. She is usually in and out of her place on the weekends and sometimes she doesn't go home till the next morning or really late at night and gets scold a lot by her bulter because of it.
How do you feel about Pledis University so far? : She could see why her parents liked attending University so much. It was not so much about how prestious the University is, it was about how they taught things. They give her all the tools she needs to live the life that she wants.

First Meeting :
The moment Sohee had stepped foot into Pledis University, she had people talking about her. She was known as the girl who had everything, well, everything besides parents, sadly. Everyone either spoke highly of her or would think she is nothing but a snob because of her status in society. Unfortunately, Seungcheol did not think much of her. He had always thought she was a prissy little princess who was born with the diamond spoon in , but if he ever had the chance to sleep with her, he wouldn’t pass it up either.
When she joined the taekwondo club, he couldn’t help but laugh and treat her like a delicate princess until she tied the blackbelt around her waist and challenged him to a fight. He was cocky at first and calling her princess to mock her status, size and delicate appearance. But little did he know he was going to get one of the biggest -whooping of his life and it was from a girl.
Relationship & Interactions :
They have never been close but Seungcheol had always admired her from afar after having his handed to him by her and being embarrassed in front of the whole club. From then on, he vowed to never judge a book by its cover. Ever since then he had developed a little crush on her but never did anything much since he thought she was out of his league. He watched on from a far for two years as she dated and seen people. It was only seven months ago when she finally broke up with her ex-boyfriend and Seungcheol’s friends were quick to push him and egg him on to do something about his little crush.
Sohee had never favoured Seungcheol but at time progresses and their short exchanges throughout the years of knowing each other, he became a little more bearable to her and her friends would always and refer to Seungcheol as her boyfriend, ironically, after the first meeting incident. She started paying a little more attention towards him after watching him play soccer or train occasionally. Because damn, who wouldn’t notice an incredibly handsome soccer player. And she also started finding him more tolerable after talking to each other a bit more. Seungcheol was about to approach her once but she picked up her phone turned around and walked off because Minjoon had called her and said he had arrived to pick her up. Seungcheol had mistaken that for her not liking him. She had to admit he looks good while playing soccer, but him and his friends were still douches.
It was the weekend after exams have finished and everyone was celebrating at the university bar on campus and many students were there to party. It did not take long for almost everybody to be drunk out of their minds. With all the liquid courage that Seungcheol has gathered throughout the night he managed to ‘casually’ talk to her. After talking to each other and flirting back a forth, they found themselves making out and decided to take this back to his dorm room as things were getting heated.
Once they got back to his dorm, he started to take off her clothes but stopped in his tracks once he noticed the scars across her thighs and started to question her. Sohee had said that it was nothing repeatedly, and just a couple of scratches she had gotten from falling. However, the cuts were too consistent and neat to be from falling. Seungcheol had told her that even though they had not known each other much if she needed anyone to talk to she could always talk to him. Sohee, not wanting to let anyone else into her messed up her life she left in a hurry and called Minjoon to pick her up.
Seungcheol worried, skipped a day of classes to visit the Choi family manor to speak to Minjoon, after being told by her friends that he was the person who knew Sohee best. Minjoon was reluctant to tell him and before he could say anything he was interrupted by Sohee who had come home after being told by her friends what Seungcheol was doing. She sent Minjoon out and told Seungcheol to stop meddling in her life because they’re not close enough for him to care this much about her. Seungcheol yells back and tells her to stop closing people who are trying to help her off. Sohee then tells him that everyone, besides her friends, who knew about her secrets has cut all ties with her. Fuming she leaves to her room while telling Minjoon to him out.
Ending :
What is University social life without its endless parties, huh? A random dorm decided to throw a joint party with an open invite. After a hard week, Sohee and her friends decided to go for the hell of it. Because of all the stress that is increasing by the second in Sohee’s life, it did not take long before she was tipsy and double drinks. Seungcheol came to the party a bit late after going to his family dinner to find everyone a mess, but he was only looking for one person.
Sohee had gotten into a fight after a girl had saw her boyfriend staring Sohee up and down. Sohee made it clear that she was not interested in him boyfriend and she shouldn’t worry about her but more so worry about her boyfriend. The girl, not wanting to lose the argument started to call Sohee names. Everything from ‘Butler er’ to ‘orphan’. Her friends were holding her back from saying more and telling her it’s not worth it, while also defending her. But the girl really hit a nerve when she yelled out, ‘If you didn’t force your parents to go see that musical with you on your parents would still be alive and your parent’s company wouldn’t tank as much as it is doing now. It’s all your fault!’. With that her friends let go of her because they also believed that this girl deserved a beating and with that Sohee came up to her and slapped hard before walking away with a bottle of vodka.
Her friends tried to go after her but Seungcheol stopped them and told them they’re too drunk to be taking care of her and he’ll take care of it. It took a bit of looking around but he found her sitting outside on ground, her back against the brick wall with her knees against her chest. Without a word Seungcheol sat down next to her a took a long swig at the bottle and sat next to her in silence. After what seems like forever Sohee finally spoke. She opened up to him about how she constantly blames herself for her parent’s death and she should be the one who’s dead, how she still constantly has nightmares about it and how her parents company is not doing so well as of now because of all the corruption and insider jobs that are happening without her written consent. She then scolds herself for getting so sad and hung up over this when there are worse things in the world and apologises for crying. Seungcheol then reassures her that things like those are not her fault and she should be easier on herself and stop acting like she is holding her head up fine, when there is the whole world resting on her shoulders. He also tells her that there are people willing to help her because they really appreciate her for everything she has done for them. To which Sohee playfully tells him to shut up because she might end up falling for him because he is too good with his words.
The next few weeks after the incident, Seungcheol had invited himself over again to help Sohee go through all the files and information to look for any clues or evidence that backs up her speculations that have been going on in the company. They spent long nights and days together, and getting to know each other and whenever anything was to trigger her, Seungcheol would know exactly how to calm her down. He would take good care of her, making sure she eats all her meals and is having a good day. They were practically joined at the hip. It didn’t take them long to for her to grow affection towards him after endless late night talks and long days spent together.
It didn’t take them long either, to find out who had done it. And with Sohee’s knowledge and evidence that she had gathered she found out that her parents murder was linked with all the corruption that was going on in the company and that everything was planned. She took this to court and won the case and justice was restored.
It was an eventful night of cleaning and the two decided to rest which somehow resulted in a playful wrestling fight on the couch. Seungcheol fell on top of her and slightly pulled away briefly to glance at her face, before leaning down and giving her a kiss that she’ll remember. And from then on, the two became official.
