Hardworking = She dislikes failures and even though people might say she's naturally very intelligent but Mina did not get where she is right now with just her natural intelligence. There were many all-nighters pulled and caffeine consumption for her to get here and maintaining it.
Independent = She do not need anyone to survive and that is the truth. She refused to ask for help for things she can accomplish by herself even if it take twice as long.
Collected = Mina has very strong mentallity that has been trained since she was young to keep calm no matter what.

Stubborn = Mina called this determination while others say it is pure stubborness. Refused to back down from any difficulties. Not going to lie, Mina do have a quite high pride and so for her to admit she's wrong will be difficult, but she is not ignorant. It will take her some time but she will apologise if she's wrong. This is also why she's competitive, it is not a fail if she haven't try her best.
Realistic = again people think she is just pessimistic while Mina believes she is just being realistic. She sees the world how it is and for what it is, no rainbow no unicorn.

Careless = Not that she is careless about her surrounding, she is careless about herself. Mina often neglected her health and body when she's busy or upset, when Mina have a goal she want to achieve she won't stop until she get there meaning her health will be push aside and won't be noticed until it took a toll on her as a consequence. Eg, around exam time, Mina will be barely sleeping and relies mainly on coffee to help her get through time period and some snack in her system here and there. Or when she's upset she took it out by taekwondo which she sometime over-exert her body.
Background :
Born and grew up in the heart of Seoul, Mina is a city girl through and through. Being the daughter of a famous college professor and a successful lawyer wasn't easy, there were many expectations and responsibilities she has to fulfilled. Her parents were both very busy people therefore as a kid, Mina spent lots of time on her own but she did not complain. She understood that what her parents were doing is a way to provide her a better life and whenever they could, they would always spend time with her even if it only for a short time. People might still say that's negligence and bad parenting but hey she turned out fine didn't she?
Mina was bullied for a little white in middle school and honestly it was a very stupid reason. One of the 'popular' guy asked her out and she said 'no.' without any hesitation, she don't even know the guy for crying out loud. But then his fangirls started to chase her. Then they started to called her snobby, stuck up, just because her family is well off and her grades are good. But honestly till this day, Mina still don't understand, what is the proper way to reject someone? She thought they will give up after awhile if she don't react and her peaceful days will return but the girls were very persistent and the level of bullying keep increasing. But Mina was never one to complain and give in without putting up a fight. She started to learn taekwondo, as a form of self-defense and also to scare those girls but she also became more outspoken, using her quick-witted and sarcastic humour she normally saved for her friends and start to fight back. It worked surprisingly well and slowly her peaceful days return.
But Mina then learnt from her mistake. She started to become more outspoke, more friendly and approachable in order to avoid another misunderstood like that. She also discovered her love for taekwondo. But from that incident which lead to Mina's curiousity to peeked up about human behaviour and how the mind work and that's where it got her today, criminology.
Likes : books, music, movies, figurines, legos, puzzle pieces, quiet space. (She is quite a nerd), extreme sports, amusement parks and coffee.
Dislikes : Being in the rain. Being force to do something she don't want to do. Waking up. Boredom. People with bad manners. Clowns.

They don't see each other often but when they do Mina and her mom would get into a very long chat, about from trivial things happening to the thing that both of them have in common, their knowledge and interest in the law. Her mother would often just sit there, smiling listening to her daughter talk passionately about her dream, finding and knowledge.
Father — Ahn Jonghye/ College professor / 47 / Humourous, laid-back, kind, understanding / 8/10 & Maybe the saying that daughter will always closer to her dad is true because Mina sure feel like she's a daddy girl. Their relationship is much more light-hearted than to her mom. She would often talks about anything and everything to her father and he would find something funny or say some jokes and cracked both of them up. Or he will tell her some funny stories of his students to her which sometime can be slightly awkward since she know some of those people.

Jisoo is someone Mina know from high school till now and they have been friends for more than 5 years. They now both attend different university but they still meet up regularly and check up on each other. The two are quite opposite as Jisso is pretty open and really bright. That girl is like the sun while Mina is bit more calmer like the moon. But that's what make them got along so well probably. Mina feel like whenever she's with Jisoo, they never ran out of things to talk about only because Jisoo talks soo much and also Jisoo's bright personality is somehow very calming to Mina.

Plotline : The diamond heart. Forget heart of steel or gold. People say Mina's heart is made out of diamond due to how strong it seem. Only diamond can break down a diamond. That's how people see her. They seen her being cornered and put down by others yet Mina still remain calm and fearless. They seen how Mina determined to argued for her case despite having the odd against her and turn it in a victory. They have seen when Mina was publicly humiliated by boy whom she rejected his confession and yet she still remain indifferent, brushing the incident off as if it was nothing. To the students, Mina is a strong, unbreakable women but to her she is just trying her best to survive.

Strengths & Skills : Mina's greatest skill would have to be her observant and quick-thinking. She's able to quietly observe a situation and quickly thought up an answer or a solution. She's also very good at observing people, by reading their body language, Mina can deduct a person's emotion and she usually used that to her advantage.
Are you involved in any activities or clubs? : Yes I am actually. I am in the taekwondo club which is no surprise really considering how much I loves it and it also helps me relieve stress so why not. But that's the only club I'm in, I don't really have the interest or the commitment for any other clubs
Would you consider joining the new Music club? : I don't see why not. It's not like it will be much work unlike all the other clubs right? I also know how to play the piano and thankfully can carry a tune when singing.
Do you have a part-time job? If so, where and what is your position? : Not sure if this is considered as part time job but since I get paid for it then it probably is. I helps out at the taekwondo centre where I used to learn. I especially loves to teach the kids and train with them. The place is not that far from the university, maybe like 20 minutes walk?
Are you currently living in a dorm room or elsewhere? : I am currently living in a dorm room because one I wanted to try to be independent and also I want to have a full college experience so dorm room is the way to go.

This is my little corner of heaven. My dorm room is quite normal, no overboard decorations. I decorated it with a neutral type of colours and I loves it.. It is not very big, enough for her to put a work table, a bed, and a walk-in wardrobe and enough space for me to move around freely in. But luckily I got a small bathroom to myself and I thanks the stars everyday for that. Outisde my bedroom is a small kitchen connect with a small living room. My dorm room is relatively small but I loves everything about it and it is enough for her. Also the dorm always have a light scent of coffee.

Do you have a roommate or do you live alone? If you have a roommate, who is it and how do you feel about them? : You can also choose to have another oc as your roommate. The perk of being accepted early than most people is that I get to chose my dorm room AND who I am dorming with and me, a very private person and prioritise peace and quiet requested to live alone and the university agreed to my condition.
Would you describe yourself as studious? How often do you study and where do you like to do so?: I'd say I am. It's not that I enjoy studying. I just enjoyed the achievement that came along with it and also as nerdy as it sounds, I enjoyed learning new things everyday. But I do procrastinate quite a bit so.. I do spend a number of hours each night to at least finish something and there are only two places where I can feel comfortable to study are my room and the library.
How often are you in your room? : Like all the time? I'm not sure actually, on school days I tend to only use the room for sleeping as I spend the majority of the day on campus. But on the weekend it varies.
Where do you spend most of your time? : The coffee shop nearby, the library, the taekwondo centre and also the taekwondo training room on campus.
What time do you normally arrive back at your room during the week and weekends? : During the week I would probably be in the room at like 5-6 pm.
Again on the weekend it varies, I could be holed up in the room all day or I could be out partying late at night (very rarely) . Who knows.
How do you feel about Pledis University so far? : After spending 3 years here, I absolutely loved it.
Anything else? : Meeting people in university is very interesting. Everyone is so ambitious and so clear of their future. I love those kind of people.

Personality : Dorky, cheerful, competitive, stubborn, determined, hard-working, kind and thoughtful.
First Meeting : They first met in the taekwondo club when Mina was in her first year and Seungcheol in his second year. They did not interact much at first but the first time they meet face to face properly is when the club was choosing competitor from the new members to participate in the competition and Seungcheol was paired with Mina. Seungcheol, a blackbelt was deceived by Mina's red belt and thought he should go easy on her. Boy, little did he know, he underestimated her ability and for the first time in his life, he was defeated by a girl. And his annoying competitive trait kicked in and from then on, it was a start of competitive-rival friendship between the two.
Relationship & Interactions : Mina and Seungcheol have a weird friendship. You don't see them around each other that much in campus but they actually pretty close. Although most of the time their friendship is a childish competitive rivalry revolves around constant challege in a taekwondo match and playful mocking comments at each other. At first, they were just platonic friendly rival but slowly it turns into a friendship. After 3 years, they both got used to each other's quirks and habits. They enjoyed teasing each other, making fun of each other and embarrassed the others, that's the kind of friendship between the two. They also got along pretty well for the two people who studied the complete opposite thing. Seungcheol major physio which is the study of the body while Mina do the study of the mind. They make quite a pair. They also tend to caught each other's down moment especially at the club since both of them have the habit of using taekwondo as a way of relieving stress or emotions and each time, they would volunteer to help the others relieve the stress and also to listen to whatever problems the others had. They grew quite caring toward each other which is a good thing. + The two of them are quite on par with each other in taekwondo but Seungcheol is still better than Mina by a little due as Seungcheol have better advatange in term of strength and speed while Mina's strength is her swiftness.
