— She was going to go to Produce 101, but when Highlight was announced as a project group, she was immidietly dropped for that project. Although at the time she would've loved to gone into Produce 101 over Highlight, she doesn't feel bad for the change

background — Hwiji was always a city girl, being born and raised in the heart of the city of lights, Paris. Her two Korean parents, Shin 'Valerie' Yumin and Kim Joongsoo had just recently moved from their home of Busan, and decided to have a daughter. They were already popular around the many residents of the city, most of them were Yumin's high school friends from her exchange year, so when she was announced she had a daughter, everyone went crazy. Giving Yumin a bizzaraly wild baby shower, and don't even get me started on Hwiji's first birthday. She doesn't relaly have memories of her early youth, maybe only up until she was 2 years old when her younger eldest younger brother, Shin 'Jasper' Hoji was born, she will always remember accidently walking into the delivery room... yeah she is pretty much scared.

But from there, her memory is perfectly clear, she memorized all of the streets she lived in, all of the little shops that all of her family friends were located, and even the navigation to the base of the effiel tower. But most importatnly she remembers well the route to the nearby cafe that her dad worked at. She almost knew everyone in that small cafe

2 days later and she runs out of her room, screaming in absoulute joy, scaring her siblings and mother. She told them with a huge grin on her face I was accepted into Pledis! Of course everyone was happy for her at the time, till Acel bought up the complication, Wouldn't that mean you live in, you know South Korea? Of course Hwi being the oblivious self never realised that she will have to live away from home, away from Paris, away from family, away from home. Of course she began relapsing her choice.

It was her final day in Paris, tomorrow she leaves for South Korea, leaves for her dreams. Her last breakfast was her favourite classic, waffles with maple on them. Then she left to meet all of her friends in the same mall they have always met in. Wishing them her final 'See ya later girl!', especially Valentine. Then she moved in tears to the cafe to wish all of her father's co-workers good bye, especially Ruby Rey, who she spent the most time with, she spent the rest of the day with her, up until 9 pm when her father came to collect her. Her two parents took out to a late night dinner in her favourite retro dinner that she has been going to every weekend, until Taylar was born. Before she arrived at the airport. It was a hard goodbye.

When she arrived in Seoul, she was immdietly moved into a share house, before beginning her trainee life

▪ Shin 'Valerie' Yumin ||  Mother || No job, stay at home mum! || 47 || Yumin was the Korean exchange student in France, in one of the leading highschools in France. She had the time of her life, she loved everything of French culture, but her time was short-lasted. Eventually she would have to move back, or not? The very next year, she bought her fiance, Joongsoo, the France for the rest of their lives || Valerie lost her eldest daughter two years ago to her dream, but however, every day has successfully convered with her, via skype, phonecall, email, and sometimes hand written letter. And you can say that Hwi does her damn best to respond
▪   Kim Joongsoo ||  Father || Barista || 50 || Joongsoo was always entranced by Yumin, she was cute, enthustiastic and definatly knew how to pop a joke! So when she left for France, he was devistated! A whole year without his beloved girlfriend was tough on him. However, he didn't spend his time mostly sulking, he spent his time playing the guitar in the street for some extra pennys to help him fly to France to see her. When she returned she suggested something insane to him, "Let's live in France, together the two of us!" Sure it was a great move and he loved her oh so much, so despite him loving his home, he took a heavy sigh and agreed, but not before proposing. || Hwi never forgets the Coffee Shop that her dad works at, and even all of the people she has known all of her life there, so sometimes she will call him and ask him to speak with all of the people she has known all of her life

Sometimes when Hwii was upset and both of her parents were busy, she would trot along to the coffee shop and actually have the support of Ruby. Sadly Ruby is an old woman, kidney cancer, although Hwii has known for a long time about her kidney cancer.
▪ Valentine Martin || Bestfriend || Universty Student || 20 || Sweet Valentine! Her first best friend, and her first long time friend. Being the daughter of one of the workers at the cafe, she and Hwiji almost clicked instatnly despite there 2 year .
