appearance — Yeowool is at a standing height of 170 cm and weighs about 50 kg. She has a slender body and has a high metabolism. She has long brown hair that reaches just below her s that also have blonde ombre. She has very prominent cheek bones and her lips are naturally rosy so no lip tint is really needed. She isn't that typical super pale korean, she has a litle tan to her, but it's not Hyorin tan. 

Fashion/style — 






Yeowool's sense of style kind be described as maybe chic and and up to date with the current trends. Her sense of style kind of matches her easy going personality because she likes flowy pieces of clothing. Her go to outfit during the summer would consist of what the second row last picture looks like or maybe last row second picture. A winter outfit would look like the first row first picture. She has a wide array of colors in her closet, but mainly she strays near the darker side of the color pallete. She is a big fan of boots, especially ankle boots as seen in last row first picture.

If you ask anyone who is close to Yeowool, they will call her an awkward potato. She's just very awkward in everything she does, but she's in swag af when she's on stage so it's kind of like a whole flip of wow charismatic on stage, but awkward and clumsy of stage which makes her totally lovable to everyone. Even her smile is awkward yet cute. She, like everyone else, went through their awkward hormonal teenage years, but others left that stage and matured, on the other hand, Yeowool is an awkward teenager stuch in her 22 year old body. And to make matters even more funny, she still hasn't had her first kiss. 

"Potatoes can be sweet right? Then I must be a sweet potato!" 
Yeowool is the sweetest girl, well not sweetest, but she's really nice (oh my such a cliche word to use XD) She's the type of person to give a stranger a smile on the street or lend a helping hand. I guess saying she's nice is a broad term in a sense. She's always trying to see if she can help in any way to take the load off of someone. If someone is struggling, boom she is there to help. Yeowool is like a sweet potato in many ways, because they are sweet but not that sweet. Depending on the size of the sweet potato is like the amount of niceness she'll show. It's weird but it kind of makes sense. 

"I have a very unique sense of humor."
Yeowool likes to think she's the funniest person in the whole world. She honestly loves cracking jokes and smiling and having fun with others. Her humor is the aspect of her personality that shapes her. Let's be honest here, she'll never run into a joke block because she never runs out of jokes. She's like a joke vending machine. She once dressed up for halloween as corn and when people asked her what she was, she told them, "I'm a corny person. There will never be a dull moment when Yeowool is on a role with her jokes. 

"Be true to who you are."
She is very true to herseld and where she is in her life. She likes to be real and doesn't really sugar coat things. Being true means no lying. She says, "Accept everything that comes your way but just remember that you'll get through it and you have friends that are here to support you and to lend a crying shoulder." She's a strong believer of, "Don't let anyone tell you who are supposed to be, you know yourself best so you do you." She tends to say, "You do you a lot" Yeowool is one hella awesome advice giver, though boys and relationships are not her strong point.

There's a side of Yeowool that is a much wow for everyone when she shows it. She is a big hater and by hater I mean she got super sour when her sister debuted before she did. She has that side where she can get secretly jealous of other people's success. But it's funny because she is also super shady with her insults towards her sister. 

"Can you not touch my food? Please and thank you."
Don't touch this girls food, I repeat do not touch. I kid you not she will hunt you down and strangle you. Also do not touch anything of hers without asking her. Don't touch her clothes without asking, don't wear her shoes without asking, just don't touch anything that is her unless she tells you to hand it to her. There are times when she's lowkey possesive of her crushes but this girl ain't got no crush on anyone. #single5ever

"I just rode the mainstream of tears. Does that mean I'm a hipster now?"
There are those who don't cry because they think they are manly men or strong girls, but Yeowool isn't like that at all. When she cries, she lets it all out. She's emotional yes, but it takes quite the effort to get her to cry, you get me? Like yeah you can scrape your knee and cry, but she don't roll that way. You gotta break her arm for her to cry in pain or like an award show win or if she visits her parents all the way in Yongin. She isn't really afraid of very many things, but she is afraid of clowns. 

"Put your trust in me." 
You can always rely on her to be there to lend a helping hand or have a shoulder to cry on. Yeowool may be an awkward potato at times, but she is a sweet potato most of the time. She can keep secrets and if you send her on an errand to by something, she'll go to the other side of town to get it. If you need a friend to go out to eat with or to drink with, hit her up. If you need a karaoke buddy, she's always down to sing her heart out. 

"I should be a judge instead."
She judges you, 24/7. She watches your every move. HAHAH JK that sounds so stalkerish. It's like a downside of her personality, she judges what you wear, what you say, and the worst is when her face cringes at anything horrible (her face cringed when she heard one of the new trainees singing during an evaluation test). She is a hypocrite because she tells other people don't judge a book by its cover but she judges people all the time and she tries to fix it constantly. 

"I'm sorry if I hurt your feeling. Forgive me."
She unintentionally hurts peoples feelings, but that's an outcome of her not sugar coating a lot of the things that she says. She says things that are in the heat of the moment, but she doesn't think before she talks. She's clumsy with her words. She talk talk talks but then when she smacks her face into a wall, that's her messup in what she says. (But she only speaks the truth). 

"Ya'll better run for the hills because I'm about to beat you for waking me up."
Morning is not a very fun time when you're with Yeowool. She practices late and she balances school on top of that so she needs her beauty sleep. If you have a valid reason for waking her up, then fine go right ahead, but if you do it just to see her reaction, run for your life. She might kick or punch, but that's just Yeowool being Yeowool. Also it's hard to wake her up in general though, so if she does kick or punch, she's probably dreaming. The only way to cure a very SCARY Yeowool is, FOOD.

background — Dam Yeo Wool was born in Yongin, Gyeonggi, Do, South Korea with a twin sister whose name is Dam Yeo Jin. From a very young age, Yeowool was always active, whether it was participating in sports or being their churches choir, or dancing at their school festivals. Yeowool started to have those formal dance lessons when she turned 5. She did all sorts of styles of dance, from ballet to jazz to contemporary to street dance. Yeojin on the other hand pursued the life of a singer. But Yeowool was the first one in the family to become a formal trainee at any entertainment agency. Yeowools favorite thing she ever did during her childhood was learning how to do traditional korean dance. She loved performing it also at events. Her least favorite style of dance would hands down have to be ballet because her toes would get so bloody afterwards it wasn't a pretty sight. 
So like going through her younger years and towards her teenage years she never really spent that much time like hanging out with friends? She chose to dance, dance was everything to her back then. It still is to this day. She didn't really mind it much, though she felt as if she missed out on a lot of those kid things that kids do. Especially during middle school and high school, she never hung out with "real" friends. She never got to go get her nails done with her friends or go shopping, it was always dance dance dance practice practice practice. It's pretty chill though because she'd rather be with people who share the same interests as her than people who would rather spend their time shopping and not practicing or studying anything. 
When Yeowool was in grade school, middle school, and high school, she always 100% participated in their school festivals whether it be dancing or singing with her sister because Yeojin was a singer, not a dancer. For as long as she will live, she will never forget this particular piece of who was in her class. So It was during middle school, and yo no one has creativity and they were in at an arts middle school (if those exists, if not then an arts high school) but anyways so the school festival was coming up, the best part of the year for Yeowool and Yeojin. Yeowool was obviously going to participate in the dance portion of the show, BUT lemme tell you about this little hoe who totally ripped off Yeo Wool. No one crosses Yeowool. Her name, Jo Soon Ok. HAHAHA So lemme start off, Soonok was all off about having this bomb as choreography piece that would win her first place, but little did everyone know she totally stole Yeowools choreography. Yeowool had no knowledge of this and so Soonok was schedueled to perform before Yeowool and like Yeowool was standing backstage like, "WTF THIS HOE EXCUSE ME THAT'S MY CHOREO!" But anyways Yeowool is already a bomb af dancer so quick witted and she ran to the music booth and gave them diff music for her performance and wow Yeowool killed it. After the winners were announced, Yeowool getting 2nd and Soonok getting 1st, it was time for confrontation. 
"Congrats on getting 2nd Yeowool." Soojin said snarkily. 
"Yo you know that wasn't your piece, so why don't you turn yourself in to save me the hassle." Yeowool says as she sticks her hands in her pocket.
"What do you mean turn myself in. I did nothing wrong." Soojin smirks. 
"Aish c'mon." Yeowool is starting to get very annoyed. 
Some more back and forth goes until Soojin says, "Fine, I admit it. But you have no proof I stole our choreo." Yeowool this sneaky girl was recording the whole time on her phone in her pocket. "I just got it all on recording so you have two choices, 1 turn yourself in or 2 I turn you in. 
(Talk about a real life k drama moment)

- Momma Choi // Choi Hee Young // 52 // Retired Gymnist turned high school principal // Since Heeyoung is a principal, she is very loving of all the students. She takes everyones concerns into concerns and doesn't let bullying go unoticed. She is the type of mom who is very supportive of whatever her kids want to do in their lives and if that's becoming an idol, she will support them. She is also the type of mom who likes to embarass her kids in public. One of her favorite things that she liked to do to Yeowool mainly was, "Hey you over there! Do you have a girlfriend? If you don't, my daughter would be perfect for you! Hey don't run away, wait come back!" Heeyoung likes to think of herself as the hippest mom on the earth and keeps up with the teen trends. She lets the kids of the school call her Momma Choi. // Momma Choi and Yeowool are very close. When Momma Choi and her husband get a chance, they go visit their daughters in Seoul. Yeowool tells her mom everything and will often times send letters or gifts home if she can't use her phone to call or text her parents. // Back when Yeowool was still at home, Momma Choi would often times put her daughter (if she couldn't catch Yeojin) in a headlock just for fun and ruffle her hair a little bit. It might seem a little weird but that's how their household worked, Yeowool often helped her mom prepare and cool meals while her father and Yeojin watched something on tv. Yeowool and Yeojin treat their parents to food everytime they come to Seoul, almost all the time it's KBBQ or a spicy porks feet restaurant. 

- Papa Dam // Dam Joon Soo // 55 // Fried Chicken Restaurant Owner // Joonsoo is the type of dad who is everyones best friend. He is super chill and super laid back but he instilled just enough discipline in his kids so they won't grow up with the wrong crowd. When he's running the restauraunt, he doesn't really take from customers, though he is actually super chill with most but the stupid obnoxious ones who try not to pay he'll beat the out of you. // Yeowool and her father basically share a similar relationship to Yeowool and her mother, but Joonsoo doesn't really want to embarass his daughter. (maybe Yeojin lol). He is super proud of his daughters and that they are both achieving their dreams and they are living their lives. Yeowool and her father have a pretty cool handshake they do everytime they see each other. yeowool is also the type of daughter who will punch her dad if she sees a punch buggy. Yeowool obviously loves playing jokes on her father, though Papa Dam is always going to pay her back twice as hard. 

▪ Dam Yeo Jin | Sister | Past IOI member and now on Unnies Slam Dunk | 22 | They are at different entertainment companies so they don't see each other too often or as much as Yeojin would like. Yeojin is the same as Yeowool, an awkward sweet potato. They have necklaces that when put together fit. If Yeojin does get to meet up with Yeowool, they will 100% go out to each fried chicken. Yeowool has also voiced to Yeojin that Seungkwan is a major Yeojin fan. They have a typical sister relationship and it's super cute. 
Yeojin became a trainee AFTER Yeowool became a trainee at Cube, but Yeojin had the opportunity to debut first. Yeojin is a passed contestant from SIXTEEN from JYP Entertainment so she had already developed a fanbase from being on the show. Being on Produce 101 pushed her over the edge and gave her the opportunity to debut with the IOI girls. Yeojin's strengths are mainly dance and vocals like Yeowools strengths are the same. Yeojin on the other hand is better at certain styles of dance like ballet. 

▪ Myoung Mina | Cousin | 1Million Dancer & Choreographer | 22 | When Yeowool gets the chance, she will 100% go to the 1million dance studio to take some classes, specifically Mina's classes. They have been close ever since they were kids. When they see each other Yeowool yells, "MINA-YAHHHHHHH OMGGGG YO WASSUP HOMIE!"

▪ Boo Seung Kwan  | Full Time Best Friends also an English tutor on the DL  | Seventeen's Main Vocal | 19 | Seungkwan is Yeowools favorite in Seventeen, its a no brainer. "Yeowool you're so so!" You know Seungkwan will definetly make fun of Yeowool. Seungkwan also likes to voice out how much better Yeojin is in terms of looks.  Dance battles? You know that is a thing between these two. Seungkwan also likes to make fun of how Yeowool dances, like Seungkwan imitating Yeowool is the funniest thing everyone has seen. Yeowool also sees Seungkwan as a little brother so she won't mind spending money to buy him some food. 

▪ Kwon Soon Young aka 10 10 aka Hoshi | Dance Buddy/Full Time Best Friends | Performance Team Leader| 20 | These two are really close and they bonded with dancing. They were constantly throwing ideas off on one another and will ask the other if its okay to use a certain dance move the other made up. Yeowools first impression of Hoshi was, wow this kid can dance omg. Hoshi considers Yeowool to be his best girl pal, and also as an older sister figure. Hoshi with the help of the other SVT and Pristin members play pranks on Yeowool. They also like to place bets on who will get to the practice room last or who will be the first to mess up the choreo.

Stage Name — Jasmine - Reason: Yeowool chose the stage name Jasmine because she honestly thought it was super pretty and it is a name that no other idol has yet. She also really likes jasmine flowers and jasmine tea lol.

trainee life — Yeowool started off as a trainee at Cube Entertainment when she was 15. She got into Cube by her dancing. Trainee life for her wasn't all fun and games. She constantly had muscle pains from dancing and for a short period of time she was on a super severe diet to make her loose weight. Her other focus besides dancing was vocal. She wasn't the strongest singer, but she was decent enough to make the cut each month. She didn't have enough time to make friends because she juggled school on top of being a trainee but to be honest she didn't really need friends because everyone was aiming for the same goal and you never know who'll backstab you. A similar event that happened in high school happened during a trainee evaluation, so she was forced to freestyle and that caused her to not rank as high as she usually was. She left Cube Entertainment when she decided not to resign after her 4th year and immedietly started looking for a new agency and that's when she found Pledis. The atmosphere at Pledis was so much more soothing to her and that's where she met the boys of SVT and the girls of Pristin, ones she thinks of as her little sisters and brothers. Trainee life wasn't as extreme at Pledis, but it was still pretty bad. They were put into groups, and Yeowool was usually the oldest and she would get if some of the girls were late and not on time.
