what her mother used to call her as a baby but it stuck as she grew up so now everybody
calls her that and nobody even calls her by her name anymore tbh. Because of this.
She often introduces her self as that too lmao she's #shameless. Sometimes, when jihoon is
feeling affectionate, he calls her that too and she just m e l t s. She absolutely loves it when
jihoon calls her that.

( appearance ) : Sunhwa is known for her chubby cheeks and milky complexion. She doesn't mind her chubby cheeks because it's something she was born with and can't do anything about so she just tends to go with it Her milky complexion though is something she definitely works hard on maintaining. You'll rarely see her in a ponytail, but when she does she's usually wearing something that has a collar or just high necked. She also never cuts her hair above the place her tattoo is. Even though she knows people can't see it, she still feels quite vulnerable with it being show just like that. Sunhwa's also very small and short so pair that with her chubby cheeks, she's has a child/doll-like sense to her.

( elaboration ) : When you meet her for the first time, she comes off as haughty as she can be very quiet with strangers, especially if she does not like the vibe they give her. Most of the time her intuition is right as people who give her a bad vibe right off the bat usually end up having an attitude she does not approve of. Some people call it judgement, she thinks it's just she's just shrewd enough to see their true colours behind the facade of their first impression. However, she is much more cheerful and expressive when you spend more time with her. She expresses her emotions and thoughts very clearly and straightforwardly without fear so you never have to fear about her being fake because if there's one thing she really hates, it's fake people. She is very kind to those around her though and does not hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs it and, to those she's really really close to like her family, they'll know that she's very sweet and not afraid to be affectionate. She often demands quite a lot of affection from her family and significant other.
A Perfectionist is what most of the people who personally know her would describe her as. She puts her all in everything she does and is usually very passionate about it especially in things she loves, or she doesn't do it at all. She is the epitome of finishing what you start and turning words into actions. Since she is quite girly and hygenic, she cannot stand seeing messy and dirty places so expect everywhere she stays or goes to to be nothing short of clean and perfect. However, in contrary to the stereotype of perfectionists being very idealistic and often dreaming of the impossible, Sunhwa is Realistic in a way where she knows her limits and what she can and cannot do. She knows what is attainable and what is not. Because of this, she is incorruptible and cannot be easily swayed by words or bribery. Her beliefs and morals are very strong and it takes a lot to convince her, especially since she does not easily trust others even if the other party is considered a close friend of hers. It takes a great deal to break down her walls.
Sunhwa can also be quite stingy with her possesions whether it be her food or objects she owns. It takes a whole lot of convincing for her to share and don't even try guilt-tripping her because that's where many of her arguments with her friends start. Because of all of this, most people peg her to have the Princess Disease especially as she is also known for her impatient nature.
( background ) : Her parents divorced when she was 6 and for quite some time, she believed that it was her father's fault and was very angry with him. It is only when they explained to her that it was nobody's fault and that they just really fell out of love due to their busy schedules that she began to warm up to her father again. However, because of their divorce, sunhwa has a hard time trusting other people with her secrets and innermost thoughts. Despite being known as expressive, she does not like showing her weaknesses to other people. You'll know she is upset or sad but you won't know why. She has one older brother whom she's the closest to and is usually the one she pours her sad feelings to, though that is only when she's really upset and cannot take it anymore.
Her father moved to Jeju some time after the divorce, so whenever there's a holiday or on her father's birth month, she's usually in Jeju. However, on her 19th birthday, her mother was promoted and moved to the company's chain in New York. Since her mother cannot afford to bring her and her brother just yet because of visa and etc, sunhwa has to move and live with her father in Jeju until her mother has settled and is able to bring her and her brother to the US. During her stay in Jeju, to avoid being a burden on her father and also to save up for her future in the US, she works at Disney jeju when she's not in school.

• She absolutely loves cartoon shows. She doesn't care whether they're for children or not, if she loves it, she watches it and anybody who judges her can put their opinions up their buttholes. Name a cartoon character and she can probably tell you everything there is about them, the show they're from, the other shows that that show's channel shows and etc.
• Also loves anime/manga and is that person who will give you a week's lecture if you ever confuse anime and cartoon because they are D I F F E R E N T. the animes she watches are also very diverses, ranging from the very girly ones like shugo chara to shojou ones like kimi ni todoke to action-heavy ones like noragami.
• despite her princess attitude, she's actually pretty athletic and loves to go on runs especially with wang. She's part of the school's track team.

• Because she's usually called jjanyang, some people don't know her real name and thinks that that's her name. She doesn't correct them and just goes with it until they find out and get embarrased lmao.
• She's one of the more popular people in school but she doesn't really give a about statuses and labels bc she hangs out and talks to whoever she wants to.
• She owns a male Korean Jindo Dog named wangja that was gifted to her by her mom before she left as a parting gift and they have been inseperable since. She named it wangja which means prince because of her reputation of having the Princess Disease lmao. she often calls it wang for short though.

For the most of her childhood, sunhwa blamed her father for everything and refused to want to do anything with him. She only started warming up to him a few years later but their relationship is still awkward because of the many years they spent apart. He does try very hard to make it up to sunhwa and hojin and repair their father-children relationship. Their personalities and habits are very similar though (he's also very particular in skin care and hygiene lmao) , so sometimes they either clash or get along and agree to each other very well.

She's also commonly called the Mini Eunkyung because of how similar their appearances are and how eunkyung used to look a lot like sunhwa when she was younger. But because sunhwa's personality is more like her father's, eunkyung is often reminded of kiwoo when she spends time with sunhwa. Eunkyung loves her children more than anything in the world and practically spoils them as much as she can, especially because she feels bad for putting them through her and kiwoo's divorce.

Hojin is sunhwa's best friend as much as he is her brother. He's very protective of sunhwa and every guy who tries to woo her must go through him first, but the same goes for every girl who likes hojin. He may seem unapproachable at first because of his resting face, but you'll find that he's much more outgoing and nicer than sunhwa. He's also much more trusting so sunhwa often looks out for him in case people take advantage of him. He's very passionate about music hence why he's majoring is music. He was just as upset as sunhwa when their parents divorced and thought that it was their father's fault too but forgave him faster than sunhwa due to his forgiving nature.

Wangja, or as sunhwa calls him more often, Wang, is sunhwa's dog that her mother gave to her and whom she loves more than anything in the world. There is probably nobody she trusts than wangja and would gladly give her life up for him. She often rants her feelings out to him & he's proved to be a better companion and listener than most. Cheonsa is much closer to her brother than her but still recognises her as an owner as she does spend time playing with her, feeding her and training her when her brother is not around.
EVERYONE ELSE IN JEJU DISNEY WORLD
When she first got the job, she naturally was closest to those she worked closer with aka seungcheol, jisoo and seungkwan. Seungcheol likes to act like an older brother towards her and surprisingly gets along well with her brother whenever her brother comes over to see how she is doing. Any guy who wants to get close to sunhwa now has to go through him too. Jisoo, on the other hand, is more of a close friend because he's such a good person and sunhwa's day just gets easier when jisoo is around (but also because he helps her a lot and practically makes her do nothing as much as he can?) and seungkwan is the same though seungkwan is much funnier. She has to admit though, she did have a tiny crush on Jeonghan when she first saw him in the kitchen but has never talked or acted upon it which turned out to be easier than expected because he became like a brother-figure to her too, or a mother-figure is also true. Mingyu, being the carefree person he is, sometimes flirts with her but not seriously. Just some light-hearted fun that sunhwa doesn't take seriously though out of everyone in the cafe/restaurant, sunhwa and mingyu knows how to have fun the most.
However, because of their close familial relationship, sunhwa was initially wary of seungcheol's soulmate and doubts them but eventually warms up though still not exactly that close with them. She is also initially awkward with jihoon's mascot co-workers but grew close to roo ri (#shortandsmolsquad lmao) and often goes to her for advice about jihoon.

{ + } Jihoon is very thoughtful of others and would go great lengths to make them feel comfortable and/or help them. He's also very honest, a trait that sunhwa admires most and also part of the reason she started liking him. He's very Hardworking, Reliable & Trustworthy so her brother figures aka seungcheol, jeonghan and hojin approve of him greatly.
He can be quite shy so he's not as expressive and affectionate as sunhwa is so they're that typical pair where one is very affectionate and makes the other blush to no end. He's also quite sensitive and overthinks a lot, often thinking he's not enough and etc. (poor baby) Though he can also be as blunt as sunhwa so sometimes they may clash. { - }
( love story ) : Jihoon's quite close to Seungcheol so when jihoon came over to the cafe/restaurant during his break, sunhwa happened to be working and so seungcheol introduced the two. Jihoon was pretty surprised and secretly pleased when he met her because she's much shorter and Smol-ler than him whilst Sunhwa didn't really think about him much. Ever since then, jihoon has been going there more often even when he isn't having a break. Sunhwa doesn't mind at first but starts noticing him after a while until eventually, one day, she just straight out asks him why he comes so often. Poor Jihoon is all flustered and taken aback by the question and has no idea what to say, only to be saved by jeonghan calling for her. Sunhwa, who had a tiny crush on jeonghan ever since she started working there, got distracted and forgot about it. Though jihoon is relieved and thankful, he is also quite jealous of the attention sunhwa gave to jeonghan.
One day, a customer harasses sunhwa and jihoon happaned to be just right beside the table. Jihoon, being the peter pan he is, saves her from the sticky situation and brings the shaken sunhwa out somewhere else. Ever since then, they've grown closer and sunhwa starts to notice him in a different light. Seungcheol aka the captain of their ship knows of jihoon's feelings towards sunhwa and also helps to bring them closer.
( interaction ) : Jihoon, being the shy awkward lil smol ever when it comes to love, is the only person who ever calls her by her name and rarely ever calls her by the nickname everyone calls her by aka jjanyang. So when he does call her that from an accidental slip of the tongue or just in the heat of the moment, sunhwa's heart races and she can't help having the biggest smile recorded in history. Sunhwa's pretty forward and expressive with her feelings and thoughts so she can get very affectionate with him and he just becomes a tomato looking mess.
Though they were quite awkward at first and needed a little more push from seungcheol to interact, they get along very well and sunhwa finds herself being able to talk to him easily about things she normally wouldn't talk about with other people and maybe it's the whole soulmate thing but jihoon managed to crumble her walls.
( tallies ) :
I & II. Sunhwa happened to pass by him when she first came to work though she didn't pay any attention. She only realised later when she was trying on her work uniform with her hair tied up that she had one tally. Because the place was so crowded and she saw so many people that day, she didn't have any clue at all who caused it or what caused it.
III & V. The third and fifth tally appeared together when jihoon came in the cafe/restaurant while she was on her shift. seungcheol introduced the two of them and they talked for the first time. However, because her job is being a waitress and there's a ton of people and strangers she talks to on a daily basis, it didn't ring any bell for her.
IV. It's the fourth tally that finally made her realise that it's jihoon because it appeared when he was ushering her somewhere else after the incident with a customer and had his arms around her. She eventually made a connection between the fourth tally and his initials and came to a conclusion that it is, infact, him.
( ending ) : Soulmates are quite the touchy subject for sunhwa because of her parents and she doesn't really believe in its power. She even though at one point that she won't want to have to do anything with her soulmate after she finds out who they are, but after knowing that it's jihoon she's beginning to change her mind. Jihoon understands and respects her feelings though so both of them decide to take it slow. They have a mutual understanding but no labels as of yet.

( ah, nice to meet you! so, what job are you applying for and why? ) : "Waitress, because out of all the jobs available here, i think that being a waitress is most suitable for me because i'm not really all that good at operating rides or willingly initiating interactions with other people in a costume."
( so, what qualities do you think you posses that makes you qualified for this job? ) : "My memory is pretty good and 9 out of 10 times, i don't make mistakes. Moreover, with a pretty face like this, don't you think i'd be pulling in more customers? [Cue sunhwa jokingly doing aegyo and laughing]"
( what are you opinions on kids? ) : "They're..... okay, i guess. I'm not particularly good with them and i don't have much experiences with them because i'm the youngest in the family. I'm also, as you can see, very small so i often fit in well with them. Sadly."
( and why do you need this job? ) : "Well, it's not that i'm in desperate need of money but it would be nice to have some extra money so that i don't have to depend on my dad. Also, i'll be moving to the US in a few years time or so, so it'd be nice to have saved up money before i go there."
