1st anniversary on AFF - 1 year with you!
Hey everyone,
Oh guys, I've missed you so so so much! *hugs everyone* How have you been? ^^
Actually, I've been so busy with my studies that I didn't really have time to upload stories or continue writing the ones in progress but I knew that I want to make a blogpost on my AFF birthday (hehe, I like this expression :D), so here I am. As for what I've been doing, I bet not a lot of you know that I've been learning French for 3 years now and I'll have my language exam in April. So, I'm diligently preparing for it and I'll also have a French competition tomorrow (I don't even know how I got into the second round but yeah, I did it. I'm quite nervous since there will be an oral part as well. *-*).
Now, you know why I was quite inactive lately, but since the competition is tomorrow and after that, I wouldn't need to spend my afternoons with filling out the previous years' papers, I think I'll have a bit more time. *-*
Anyway, this is a pretty special day for me because it was exactly a year ago that I became a member of AFF. Which means that I've got the cute giraffe banner! *throws confetti* Haha, but really, it's so cute. ^^
So, I've already spent one year with you and gosh, it flew by so quickly. I've read numerous amazing, jaw-dropping, heart-wrenching, amusing or heart-fluttering stories that I can't even keep count of it. I could never get bored and I still have a lot of stories bookmarked, so I'm sure I wouldn't be bored in the future either. The authors are so lovely and nice, I'm still so amazed whenever theyaffectionately reply to my comments.
On top of that, I even decided to share my stories with you and you were all so lovely to check them out, leave a comment, subscribe, upvote or read. Really, I wouldn't even dare to imagine that I can get this kind of feedback. *blushes deeply* I wasn't confident in my writing skills when I started here but I think I became more confident thanks to you. The comments always put a huge smile on my face, they can make my day even when I'm really under the weather. I'm just so extremely happy to hear that people like my stories and I can make their days a bit better with my works. It makes my heart flutter. *-*
Not to mention the drabble contest-winner Another broken star and the Exo Fan Fiction Awards where I got the amazing 3rd place in the Best One Shot Fic category with Valentine's Day . Really, I was jumping up and down in my room when I learned the news. *grinning widely at the flashback* But this was all thanks to you, your love and support, I can never thank you enough! <3 <3 <3 *hugs again and again*
Really, this one year was a blessing for me, you gave me so much and I became a more confident person and writer. Although I had my up and downs, especially in the last few months and weeks, you were always here and supported me, so thank you again! <3 You can't even imagine how much does this AFF community mean to me, I feel like I'm the luckiest person on Earth to be a part of this site.
In the future, let's keep on smiling together and I really hope to meet more and more of you. You are such amazing friends, I love you all so much! <3 My life would be lonelier with you. Remember to stay healthy and smile a lot. You are perfect, you are enough and never doubt that. You are talented, you are beautiful and you deserve to be loved. Try to love yourself and accept who you are. Be happy and enjoy your life! <3
I hope to bring you more (and better) stories in the next year, especially with my underrated biases. (I still store like 5 Seokjin story ideas in my sketch-book. *-*) So, keep your eyes out for them! <3 I hope to stay like this for a long time, I mean with you, in such happiness and joy.
