ok so i don't usually make blog posts but im just going to put this out here because wHY NOT

anywayss, imma post some poems i made here sooo hope you guys like them :D feel free to tell me what you think hehe

[POEM #1]

Oblivion

What will you do

When the world falls around you?

Will you stutter? Will you quiver?

On the brink of the end

When the world blinks and resets

Will you stay? Will you be okay?

Will you step forward into the darkness?

Clutching tightly to you heart

Bracing as the heavens fall apart

Will you walk onwards? Will you face forward?

Or will you drift away like the late-autumn leaves

Out of sight, away from the light

To a place where time freezes like ice

A place where the wind stops

And where the shards of rain illuminates

Will you stand up and accept your fate?

 

So, what will you do?

When the world closes its eyes

And the angels wave their goodbyes

Will you waver? Will you tremble?

Or will you stand and gaze

At the oblivion that awaits

Holding tight, to what is right

 

Will you stay? Will you be okay?

 

 

[POEM #2]

Reminiscence Lullaby

Oh how the flowers sing to me

Whispering words of wishes

Of willful letters and rhymes

Or are they just lies

Masking me with tears

In this garden painted grey

Oh how their petals hum

Of a melody through the wind

Whilst the rain falls

Hiding a trail of hollow promises

Past these humble rays

Of faint glimmers of light

And of hope yet to come

Of a past buried in time

Under these sacred leaves

I lie down

On a bed of broken memories

And let the sky fall into me

Repainting the clouds

In a certain shade of rain

 

[POEM #3]

Constellations

He drew the lines

Across her bare skin

Dot to dot, flaw to flaw

Constellations of her imperfections

And gazed into her

As if the night sky slept inside

Peacefully, in its eternal slumber

Horizon to horizon

To him, she was a cluster of stars

Full of wonders

But ever so distant

To her, he was the midnight moon

Who shone past through the dark

Awakening the tides

That laid hidden in her heart
