i love it when people do but if they don't i've promised myself not to razz people. it's annoying for the readers and usually not effective for me. i'll enjoy whatever i get

don't plagiarize. just don't do it. it's cheap and beneath any of you guys' dignity, i know you. you will not stoop so low as to steal someone else because you feel inadequate about your own abilities. you can and will have faith in yourself. DO. NOT. PLAGIARIZE. it's unfair to the original author, and you're cheating your readers who think you wrote it when in actuality you stole it from someone. i've seen rants about this but the same issue keeps popping up. posting the story to another website or in another language will not work. "different language, same meaning". your actions will not be masked. they will be unearthed, and you will need to face the consequences. don't plagiarize.
