WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR THIS SHOW? [ ★ ] 

"ah," she starts before going quiet again. swallowing the lump in , she breaks into a smile, "my dream was to become a professional dancer but my parents believed that you cannot make money by dancing and i decided that this show would be my only bet to prove them my worth as well as my passion in dancing! i was also encouraged by some of my friends who told me that i should try my luck so. . . here i am?" ending her statement with a nervous chuckle.

DO YOU THINK YOU'LL BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE TOUGH CONDITIONS OF TRAINING? [ ★ ] 

rubbing her nape, she nods albeit looking unsure, "i suppose i can, i mean in order to achieve your dreams you must go through hardship, yes? i think that it's gonna be challenging but down the road, if i endure and learn to accept what fate throws at me – i'd learn how to appreciate myself and others who have been together with me and that would make it even more meaningful? aish. . . am i making any sense?" shaking her head to herself.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR BEST SKILL IS? [ ★ ] 

triumphantly, she answers, "dancing!" as she flashes a smile, "i've still got room to improve but i can assure you that dancing is my charm point. i think that's where i get my confidence from."

WHAT ABOUT YOUR WORST? [ ★ ] 

she taps her chin, humming softly as her brows furrow in deep thought, "mm, let's see," she replies, "i would say. . . singing? i am only a shower singer and almost everyone tells me that i sing off tune and i kinda agree with them too, ehe."

"there is!" she nods her head, "competition and making friends? i am quite talkative, if that isn't obvious, heh. i am afraid that i might come off annoying to people and it would then be a problem trying to get along since i am both competitive and friendly so people might take me wrongly. . ."

she crinkles her nose before pursing her lips together, snapping her fingers, she smiles, "hi, i'm talkative ahreum! i hope everyone looks forward to this show like how my heart looks forward in showing you what i have!" giggling to herself.

PERSONALITY [ ★ ] (+) talkative, friendly and determined (-) stubborn, sensitive and short-tempered

at first sight, anyone would know she is the girl everyone would have the hots for – she has quite the looks, although a little rough on the edges; ahreum is definitely a sight to the eye. she is always cheerful and often talks a lot, regardless of knowing the person beforehand. she could talk to a stranger whom she met five minutes before as though they've been friends for ten years long. ahreum enjoys making friends and is always all smiles. due to her friendly demeanor, however some have taken her intentions wrongly and she was often labelled as a fox as people thought she had hidden agendas behind her friendliness. due to this, ahreum took time in trusting people as she was concerned that people would not befriend her and would only speak ill of her. she is easily affected by the words of people but being brought up with the motto of, ' keep moving forward ', she tends to put the negative remarks as a jumping stone to make herself better.

growing up as a seoulite, ahreum is the city girl who is sometimes a little too spoilt. she works hard to achieve what she wants, but at times she takes things for granted, for example her parents had enrolled her in one of seoul's famous university under the course of law however she had refused to enter by going on a strike and throwing a fit as she wanted to straight away work as a dance instructor with her own dancing academy. despite of that, ahreum is actually a lovely girl who only has big dreams that she wishes to achieve. thus, in order to gain the trust of her parents, she is determined to prove that dancing can be profitable hence she made a promise to her parents that she would attend the said university with an exception that she is allowed to decide on her own of whether or not she wants to be a lawyer. 

to sum up, ahreum is a girl who works hard in wanting to realize her dreams and she would not stop until she makes them come true although her stubborness would cause a few bumps in the road, ahreum would definitely be the example of never give up.

BACKGROUND [ ★ ] being an only child born in a rich family has its own setback, especially for ahreum who was often regarded as the chaebol. growing up was a lonely experience for her as her parents were mainly career people. she spent most of her days with the maid, if not the driver who was in charge to send and pick her up from school. ahreum found solace when she was peeking through the school's dance club room, noting how one of her senior had danced gracefully to the rhythm of the song, she had then learnt that dancing would be the cure to her loneliness. at times, she would personally dance for the maid, who was her one and only true audience. she remembered trying to show it to her parents but they never looked yet they told her she did greatly.

at the age of 15, she met a girl named sori who was a year older than her that was the school's captain of cheer leading squad which was one of the sub-group of the school's dancing team. their meeting was rough as sori had accused of her wanting to plagiarize the moves that their team had made when all ahreum wanted was to be part of them thus sori decided to test her and later found out that ahreum had a talent of her own. she had personally sought help from sori and they slowly became friends through dancing. during the age of 16, ahreum had thrown a fit and went on a strike with her parents as she asked them to enroll her in a dancing academy. the idea was rejected strongly by her mother as she said, "dancing is not a type of education, it does not help you in becoming a person". after much consideration and numerous banging of doors, her father finally relents with the condition it was only until she graduated high school as he claims that she is only dancing to "release stress" and not because she likes it.

fast forward, ahreum is now a twenty two year old who currently attends seoul national university under the law major at the request of her parents albeit she profoundly rejected the idea in the first place. sori and ahreum parted ways but still managed to keep in contact as she helped her finding a part-time job and they are both working together at a cafe that was two blocks away from ahreum's university. one day, the tv was previewing jtbc's new show when ahreum and sori were waiting for their favorite drama to air in which sori quickly grasped her by the shoulder and started to shake her, insisting that she should go for the audition. ahreum hesitated at first but sori adamantly told her to go for it as it was a chance to prove to her parents what she really has passion for. in spite of it, ahreum was still anxious and she questioned about how would she deal with work as well as university to which sori snorted and told her that she has it all covered up for her hence, ahreum ends up agreeing in auditioning for the show.
