Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday with the people they love and care about. During this time of the year, it makes me reflect back on everything that has happened within the year. I've lost a lot this year, whether it be close friends I thought would never leave, or even just hope. Recently, I've learned to smile again. This year taught me how to mend my own heart, how to pick myself back up, how to cope without certain people I thought would always be in my life till the end. This year taught me how to put myself back on my own two feet, because nobody is going to put you back on your own two feet other than yourself. It's been a little over 3 months since I started writing here on AFF, meeting lots of new people and friends who appreciate my writing. My first fanfic, "For You" is actually written about the events that happened this year. I just want to thank everyone who commented, subscribed or even read one word of my fanfics. It means a lot. Even though a lot has happened this year, I'm happy to be ending off the year with the people by my side right now. And I hope everyone is happy on this meaningful day.

Someone once said, "Christmas isn't defined by how big your tree is, how bright your lights are or how many presents you have.. It's defined by the genuine love you give to the ones you hold dearest to your heart. Today, I see a lot of happy people but I also see a lot of sad people. Let's extend our hand to those who are struggling during this time, whether if it's an invitation to dinner, a gift, or even a simple phone call.. We tend to forget while opening presents with family and friends that there are people who are waking up to no one with nothing to open. Let's make sure these people are not forgotten."
