► hana was born to inguk seol & nadeshiko hinamori on the 30th of december in the year 2000 in new york city, new york. she grew up in ny and moved to england at the age of 12 because of her dad's job promotion. hana has twin older siblings, yura (20) & yuto (20), who are currently in college in japan. yura studies fashion while yuto studies in business -- both working hard to support their family in england. during her life in new york, hana had a best friend by the name of kiara kim. although she didn't know it at the time, kiara was a muggle-born witch who would later attend the ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry. the two were inseparable friends and stuck together like peanut butter & jelly. they were well-known around their neighborhood as the beagle twins for their notorious reputation for playing pranks on teachers, neighbors, and peers alike. as soon as the seol family moved to england, hana was introduced to the world of witchcraft and wizardry. she discovered the fact that her dad was a member of the ministry of magic who had been sent to new york to report about the school system for the ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry.
