FASHION: 
She always likes to show off her fashion because she sees it as a form of self-expression. She is also the daughter of Sumsungs CEO so her father tells her to always look presentable. Still, she dresses herself the way she wants to. Since she is in love with the hip hop and R&B scene, she dresses this way. She always wears makeup. However, her clothing is very pricy since she's so used to brands, so she has jaws drop because her weekly outfits could pay a college tuition. LIFESTYLE: 

Growing up, her father was able to give her family whatever they wanted since he is the CEO of Samsung— A brand that nearly all of Korea uses. So, most of her things are branded and expensive. But, she still remembers that materialistic things arent everything. She's allergic to watermelons but LOVES meat. Especially beef. She eats a lot of protein and easily gains weight, so she goes to the gym at least 4 times a week. This, and dancing, is the reason her figure is very muscular instead of slim and sleek like most idols. She lives an easy life, but this will change once she trains to become an idol. She values her privacy, but will most likely be the one to give fanservice.

APPEARANCE: 

Jaek's height is not one of the best of her traits. Even standing next to her members, it's obvious that she's very short. However, she gains a lot of attention for her muscular and toned body. She small face and angled eyes are also a big part of her look. Her tan skin may attract some hate from native fans, but love from international fans. She has A tattoo of a koi fish that covers her right calf and hibiscus flowers on the left abdomen. Her hair is usually dyed black or brown, since she likes to keep her hair in natural colors.

BACKGROUND:  Her mother is of Polynesian decent while her father is korean and runs one of the biggest corporations in Korea. She has a fair share of both cultures values things in everyday life as symbols. Growing up, she was always expected to become the next CEO of Samsung, but her love for performing arts hindered that vision.
She started dancing when she was four, and learned from her mother cultural polynesian dancing. From then on, she took classes and started polynesian dance company in her freshmen and sophomore years of high school. She learned from this culture to value everything in life, and everything has a purpose. Her polynesian name Lakulaine (LA-KOO-LAY-AH-NEE) meaning Torch Of Light, was given by her Mom, after she said that she knew her daughter would bring a positive light to negative situations. 
She and her father aren't close. Being the CEO of a large corperation means great income, but their relationship is barely even built. He did not approve of her career choice in becoming a performer, so it is even harder to build their relationship. He claims he wants to best for his daughter, but when he sets her up with Heirs of other large corperations, she can't see the same way.  Sometimes he would even neglect her because of his position in Samsung, so he'd just send her money thinking that she's materialistic and shopping would do her good. She's thankful for the money and definitely uses it for a gym membership and clothes and such, but she still longs for the love of her father
At the age of 4, her mom started teaching her cultural polynesian dancing. She's loved it since then and even started a "Polynesian Dance Company" at her high school. This kind of dancing involved fast hip movements that may often be percieved as y, but she wants to bring back the true meaning of this dance. To tell a story. This kind of dancing would be shown on variety shows.
She didn't have many friends in high school, since most of them only wanted to talk to her for the materialistic things. Because of this, she became a very unforgiving person. But she still remembers to keep a good heart to those who are also good to her. 

PERSONALITY;
Jaekyung always tries to remember to keep a good heart, but no one can deny that she is easily annoyed. She has this blank resting face that makes her look she's paying attention even though sometimes she isn't. She always expresses her thoughts, ideas and emotions and can sometimes do dumb things around people closest to her.  She is the easiest person to approach and make friends with-- which is the reason she is chosen to MC for shows and least awkward in variety shows as well.
She sometimes does some pretty dumb things like one time where she bought a henna to do at home, her manager told her to remove it, but she didn't exactly know how. She spent an hour in the bathroom spraying cleaning bleack on it then got scolded by another member for the thoughtless act because that is definitely dangerous for your skin. she then tried a method that she found on google that told her to put toothpaste on it. so when her hand was covered in tooothpaste and she had to explain "Apparently toothpaste is supposed to work... but I just feel stupid."

Although she is very lively, you'll know she's mad when she bites her tongue and balls her fists. She tends to bottle her negative emotions because she doesn't want to harm or cause drama with people around her. She usually lets it out when she's by herself in a room by painting or punching a pillow.
She can also unfortunately be a very unforgiving person and hold uneccessary grudges. If you mess with her or a friend once, she'll get "salty" for a long while. She doesn't get over things easily because it somehow entertains her to be a little mean, and also her pride is so big.
But through all of this, she keeps a smile on her face and spreads positive energy as she remembers that she is blessed with a lot that people don't have. Like the opportunity to take online college while still being an idol, even becoming an idol, and the money her family is able to recieve.

STAGE NAME: JoJo. it was a nickname she was given in high school when some people had difficulty saying lakulaiane or Jaekyung, the translation in english for Lakulaiane is JoAnn, and in short, JoJo. the name also matches her fun personality.

TRAINEE LIFE: 
When she first found out JYP auditions were open (2010), she auditioned showing off her dance and vocals. She passed and was part of the original line-up of Twice. Of course she wanted to debut, but when she understood Twice's concept, she wanted to bring it to their attention that she was not willing to stay. She ranted this to another fellow trainee while Momo over heard and told their soon-to-be manager. This led to JoJo being kicked out of the group thus auditioned for Seven-Seasons and also passing(2015).
After passing, she found many other trainees, mostly male, working much harder than what she saw in JYP. Monthly, trainees had to perform a piece weather it was dancing, singing or rapping. Most of these were for evaluation on who was progressing and who was not. All she knew was that every month she would be the only one who did not recieve help from peers and spent most trainee life lonely. Most of them even performed in groups, hoping they would all debut together. She practiced for nearly 5 hours everyday, keeping Momo and her dad in the back of her mind. Everyday was the same, she always showed respect to her vocal and dance coaches, then stayed an extra hour to create her own songs and dance pieces. 

SCANDALS: 
Being the daughter of Samsung's CeO puts you in the limelight. When she attended a samsung event after one whole year of being abest from the media, the pictures compared to then and now showed a huge different in her nose shape, thus her plastic surgery scandal. The scandals revealed to be true as she got surgery to shrink her nose due to insecurity.

Friend | Hana Kang (22) | Blue C  Leader | Closeness: 7/10 | Although Hana seems very cold, she's actually an affectionate person. The two are a bit awkward, but close enough to silently communicate how important they are to one another, Jaek wouldn't have become a trainee without HAna's help, as Hana is the one who picked Jaek in a room full of other trainees. Zico and others insisted on a different girl, but Hana stuck to her decision insisting she wanted Jaek in the group.

OTHERS: 
Crush | Kim Yukwon (24) | Block B member | Closeness: 6/10 | She never knew Yukwon personally until he became her mentor, But she always admired him as her bias in Block B. Over time, the became close and he only saw her as a close friend, but she saw him as something more.  It wasn't love at first sight like him and Hana, but with every dance session and every piece of advice and every smile... she fell harder and harder. She knew about his feelings for Hana, so she backed off and actually played wingman, thinking if they got together sooner, she'd feel better. It slowly seemed he forgot to mentor her sometimes and their conversations would be about his love life and conflicted feelings with HAna and his girlfriend. She wanted to be the one to make him happy and end confusion, but she wasn't the one. She bottles her jealousy and blinds herself to be happy for them. She secretly writes heartbroken ballads and saves them onto her computer since they're all about him. 

Rival / MoMo (20) / Twice member / Closeness 1/10 / After getting Jojo removed from Twice, she brawl began. She was also the one who would tell people that she's only a trainee because of her fathers money. It's safe to say that Momo was kind of Jojo's bully, but she wants to turn it all around and prove her worth if she debuts.

HISTORY: She found solace in him whenever she was stressed about debuting and such. HE was the one to comfort her  and gave her advices whenever she needed it. It wasn't until his trainee found love that even even notice her, because they would both be left along together while the rest were in love when he noticed her heartbroken state. They eventually got closer and got frappe's or hot chocolate at night. Even after practices, they'd be waiting to go hang out. The only problem is that her love for Yukwon blinds her.

STATUS: "talking" but it's a one-sided thing. He loves her and she loves someone else. Maybe she'll realize the one who truly will love her is right in front of her, but she's still too heartbroken to accept.

ENDING: ... I'll let you decide, but i don;t think they'll get together or talk for a long while so this one so it can just be a side story thing :)

IDEAL TYPE: A guy that can life my mood and make me laugh a lot.. I also prefer if they can cook and is charming.
