The two became friends and soon uploaded a video on her YouTube channel. The video gained popularity for collaborating with a popular female rapper. She was signed to label Brand New Music after this.

BACKGROUND: Jojo's dad was in the navy and stationeod in Osaka, Japan where she was born. In 1992, at the age of four, the family moved to Los Angeles, California. That year, her younger sister was born. She wasnt the best student in the world, but she was very artistic even as a kid. She started singing at the age of 4 and played the guitar for her church. At the age of 16, she quit her religion which broke the bond with her and her mom which was thankfully was mended by the time she was 18. In 2004 (16 yrs old), she left her family in america and moved to Korea to audition for YG and stayed for 2 years. After two years of staying in YG's basement, she decided to quit and uploaded her own singing covers to YouTube. Her most popular video is of her and her friend singing a bunch of beyonce songs together. She met her ex boyfriend in 2008 (20 yrs) and dated until early 2013. One night when they went to a nightclub together they saw Hana and other artists performing. Her ex Junhyuk somehow knew one of the performers, and that's where she met Hana. A week later, She uploaded a cover of No Love (lucky J) and re-invented lyrics. This became her second most viewed video, and the reason she was signed to Swing's label Brand New Music in 2011. She released her first mixtape with 5 songs, using instrumentals from Kehlani, Illionaire and Swings. In 2013, Her pregnancy was revealed and Junhyuk left her. Still, she kept her daughter Haesoo and she was born on December 16, 2013. She is the most beautiful treasure in Jojo's life. Haesoo is 3 years old now and is familiar with her uncles and aunts in Brand New Music.

PERSONALITY: San E is an all-around nice guy. His music also resembles this, since most of it is groovy and feel-good music. He's always cracking jokes and spreading love and giving advices. However, he can be serious and competitive as seen on Show Me The Money. But still, he always somehow spreads positive vibes (and looks good doing it). He brings his dogs to the studios and is a huge goof, and very hyper.

He's a very mature person and has a lot of self control. except when he's hype... He can get wild. He's good at making friends and can have a conversation with just about anyone, but also knows who he doesn't want to talk to and can defend himself when necessary. Jojo loves that he's responsible, mature but also knows how to have fun.

HOW YOU MET/WILL MEET: They met when he collaborated with her for their song "FXXK WIT US" on her first album. Since then, she comes to him for advices or just to hang out.

INTERACTIONS: When they're together, they never run out of things to talk about. Sometimes they'll switch roles where he sings and she raps, and laugh about their lack of skills in those areas. During conversations, they'll say flirty things here and there, but have not confirmed their feelings for each other.

When Jojo brings Haesoo to the studio, she and San E walk around the headquarters and play around with mostly Sanchez and Swings. Haesoo's favorite uncle is San E and is the least shy around him.

QUESTIONS/ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW: I kind of said everything about her, so I'll use this to talk about Haesoo (pic above) since she's a big part of Jojo's life. Jojo is a single mom and artist raising Haesoo all my herself. When Haesoo first meets someone, she's extremely shy and anti-social. So if it's her first time seeing you, especially if you have short hair (weather youre a girl or boy) she will probably not want to talk to you. Since she's so used to her mom, she's still very shy, but will warm up faster to girls who look like her mom. She takes a while to warm up to people and can get agressive when people keep trying to talk to her. Like when people get in her face trying to say hello (you know what i mean) she'll PROBABLY growl, but usually just hides her face. She's really fun and imaginative when she likes you. her favorite foods are strawberries and cheesecake. Her favorite drink is mango juice and her favorite knock knock joke is the interrupting cow. But since she's so used to the joke, it usually goes along the lines of: Person:"knock knock" Haesoo: "who's there?" Person: "The interrupting cow" Haesoo:" MOOOOO!". Also  she screams a lot when she's excited or too into a conversation. She likes wearing glittery eyeshadow like her mom, but she's only allowed just a little bit of eyeshadow.

She is nearly the spitting image of her mother, and knows her ABC's up to the letter K, because L M N O P is a struggle. She likes playing games with San E and Sanchez.
