Probable deletion/cancelation

Most people probably do this as well, but I often go through my stories and fix minor errors. So the other day, I kind of binge read some of mine and felt extremely unsatisfied with the way they turned out or are turning out.

So this might lead to me canceling my chaptered stories or deleting them. It can also lead me to do both really.

So far, I've deleted a few including:

1. Cherry Blossoms are Overrated

2. Through the Looking Glass

3. Free Spirit

4. Third Person POV

5. Four years and Unphrased Knowledge

6. Heaven Forbid

7. The Two Halves

8. The Catalyst

The following few are in draft mode:

1. Let Me In

2. I'll Meet You There

3. Your Legacy

4. (In)effective Seduction Techniques

So, as for number 1, 2 and 3, I'll probably end up deleting them but they have progressed quite a bit (Number 3 being completed) and I've had a really great beta reader who helped me write them. So, I'm kind of waiting for her approval (Please read this and let me know) before deleting these two because she did work really hard for it. I might try to rewrite them sometime in the future so I don't really want her efforts to go to waste, therefore I'm sticking with the draft mode.

As for number 4, I probably will continue it when I can, but my updates have been so sporadic because of school I kind of feel bad keeping the readers hanging.

So if any of you can't find these stories, this is the reason. This is abrupt and all, but I think if you all have given writing a chance you'll understand this feeling.

The only stories listed at the moment are:

1. Of Hourglasses and Marionettes (VHope)

2. Your Dystopia (VHope, Taegi, NamSeok)

3. Hidden in Motion with You (VHope)

4. Bitter Beverage (VHope)

5. End of a Road (VHope)

6. Chasing the Sun (I don't see the point of writing the pairings because everything is somehow VHope)

7. My Youth is Yours (VHope again...)

Among these, I've kept a lot of them up for somewhat sentimental reasons, since 7,6 are the first things I've ever written. Two of these were written as birthday gifts, 5 was the first long one shot I've written and 4 was my first attempt at romcom.

I do plan on writing more in the future, because somehow I'm really inclined towards TaeGi these days (VHope is still my OTP so expect a lot of that) and a TaeGi one shot is already in the makings. I also realized that I am hopeless when it comes to consistency so I'll probably never write chaptered fics again. Keyword being probably because I am extremely inconsistent when it comes to writing. I also want it to be something that relieves stress instead of stressing me out.

So yeah... just in case if anyone actually took the time to read some of my stories, I'll leave this post for you here.

Ah, fics are never meant to be stressful. as writing styles change, growth happens, life happens, and works become unsatisfying. You're not the only one; I feel the same about my own work. (RIP the oneshot I have posted here).

But the thing is, in my personal opinion, every story is a learning experience. Every time you post something, you're not just giving to to the readers, but you've received a special gift in return. Every story is different. Every story has a little piece of you embedded within.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm fine with you deleting your stories, but please keep them saved somewhere on your computer or wherever you save your files. Who knows? Maybe you'll look back on it and come up with a brand new idea from your old works. Or maybe you'll want to pull some inspiration from your hard work.

Just know that people do love your works, even if they forget to subscribe or leave a comment or both *cough cough me cough.* o.O

Ok. This comment was supposed to be like two sentences. As long as you're sure, go ahead with your plans. I'll miss your fics dearly, but I'll support any decision you make! Love ya! :)
