Today I learned that my academic advisor died in a car accident last night. I don't really know it if was because of the weather but I know I will never pray for snow ever again. It's hard to believe that he is gone now, he was working so hard to help me get through my college experience. I'm going to miss him so much. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, this is such a tragedy. It's hard for me simply because I don't know how to deal with deaths.

When my grandmother passed away years ago, I never properly grieved.

Since then I've become sensitive about anyone's death, even if it's not someone extremely close to me.

But with help from my friends and family, I will get through this.

I'm so close to being done with college, one semester to go. I will do my best and graduate. I'll finish for me, for my family, for my friends and for my advisor who sadly won't get to see me graduate.

Life moves on, even if it's hard…

It goes without saying that right now is a difficult time for me, but I hope to pull through this soon. I know he wouldn’t want everyone to be sad and hung up on this unfortunate event, I wouldn’t want that either. I don’t know how long it will take since I haven’t grieved properly though, it feels weird.

But I know I will make it through somehow.

I hope to go back to updating soon… I have chapters in the works, I just have to work on them and piece them together, so there might be an update sooner then we all think, it just depends.

I don’t know what to expect from myself in this time, so let’s all be shocked together haha.

Maybe I’ll start updating left and right or won’t update for months.

I don’t know, but we’ll see.

Thanks to everyone who has been patient with me and understanding about my absence because of how crazy college has been for me. I know it when your favorite stories don’t get updates for a looooong time. I never wanted it to be like this but it’s okay, I haven’t abandoned any of my stories.

And I promise there is a lot more to come, that is, if you’re a fan of my writing.
