#THANKYOU2NE1

Okay.

So I woke up late this morning due to being sick with flu, and since I couldn't really get up, I decided to pass time with my phone. As I was scrolling through Facebook, a friend of mine posted about 2NE1's official disbandment. I guess I wasn't really surprised, kind of seen it coming since Minzy's departure from the group (but hey, I still had hope even though it wouldn't feel the same). It's really just sad knowing that one of the legends of kpop would be gone.

When I first got to know kpop, it was through my sister. She was a big fan of DBSK, Big Bang, SNSD, and 2NE1. She made me watch their performances while singing and dancing along with the music, and I kind of got weirded out (culture shock, people!). But as I watched, I sort of got amazed by the concept, and also recognizing one of their members (I'm from the Philippines and Dara is a famous celebrity here) I kind of got curious and rooted for them. They were so cool and badass and so different from other girl groups who uses a 'girly and innocent' concept. Before I knew it, I fell in love.

I'm not a die-hard blackjack, but I am still a blackjack. One that loves the four of them and supports them no matter what. I just want them to be happy.

On the other hand, please please PLEASE, STOP POSTING MEAN COMMENTS ABOUT BLACK PINK. Seriously guys, it's not their fault, okay? They didn't debut just to replace 2NE1. Like any other idols they just wanted to perform and be great. What's so wrong with that? Why do people keep on blaming those kids for the departure of another group? Don't they have the right to be great and famous and be recognized?

LEAVE THOSE POOR KIDS ALONE.
