A Man's View

Shotgun Rearmed

A single thing comes to mind, I don't know what to feel,
That girl invaded my life, now it so unclear.
Love at first sight, heck this is so unreal,
No, that isn't true, it's like with a devil I deal.

She's imperfectly perfect, I can't get her off my mind,
Girls like her, they're everywhere, so easy to find.
Yet what's so different? What made me go blind?
Involuntarily, I'm writing a song, I think I'm so kind.

Damn these feelings, just set me free,
Courage I've had it now, so do look at me.
I hate to ask this but do you even notice me?
I don't care anymore, just open your eyes and see.

Will you give me a second look?
If not, do you think I'll let you off the hook?
After what you did to my heart which you took,
I'll make you fall inlove with me like you're in a book.

I once fell yet nobody catched me,
I said to myself I won't love anymore
But I take it back now for I'll try once more,
I had my shotgun rearmed just for you to see.

Save me girl, I know I'm drowning deep,
Don't know why these feelings, I try to keep.
Take responsibility for I know I'll fall once I leap,
Catch me or this shotgun rearmed will rip.
