Personality: Maki is what you'd call; a tomboy. She's blunt and always says what's on her mind without thinking of how one would feel. She isn't insensitive but prefers to be distant from others. Although she may seem friendly and upbeat, inside, she's actually afraid to disappoint others that's why she only has a few friends. If you get pass her shell, you'll find out that Maki is actually very sweet, caring and funny. She loves to tease people, yes, but once your close, the teasing goes up a notch. She can be a real sometimes but it's because no one will believe her even if she's telling the truth. You'll know she's lying if she entwines her hands in the reversed position.

Maki-although half-Japanese-was born and raised in Seoul. She had a hard time fitting in because she wasn't fully Korean and sometimes, her school is filled with stereotypes. This gave her a hard time to fit in. People told her to use her Korean name but still, she respected that she was multinational and kept her Japanese name. When she reached 6th grade, people stopped being es and became nice to her.
