style » Minsu prefers to be comfortable and cares very little about fashion. s refer to him as a fashion terrorist most of the time. His fashion usually consists of loose pants and baggy shirts or sweaters. He is also known to wear sweatpants and sweatshirts often. He will occasionally pull out some nicer clothes when one of s force him. s do, however, praise him for knowing how to accessorize.

background » Minsu was born an only child, in Busan, South Korea. Five years later, his sister was born. He found a love for singing at a young age and had a natural 'look at me' aura. As a child, he loved to perform and music quickly became a huge part of his life. His parents also loved music and often played music around the house. His parents always encouraged him to follow his dreams whatever they may be. He had an average childhood. He went to school, occasionally got a lead role in a school musical, played with his friends/sister. That kinda stuff.

When he was 16, his mom became very sick and not long after she passed away. Minsu became depressed and pretty much, felt like he lost his purpose. He'd lost his mom and he wasn't sure how to go on. Music became just a sad reminder of his mom. Months had passed and with the help of friends and family (and a good therapist), he slowly started to overcome his depression. He remembered his mom telling him to follow his dreams. He'd heard those words his entire life and just a few days before his mom passed. He began to find his love for music once again and realize the good memories of his mom that the songs held.

At 17, he decided to follow his dream of becoming a singer and left for Seoul, where he auditioned for Starship. He failed his first audition. Unable to accept the result, he auditioned again and this time passed. He soon became a trainee. Although he auditioned as a singer, not long after he became a trainee, he found a love for dancing and worked hard to become good at it. Many trainees looked up to him and respected him, not only because of his natural leadership but also due to his hardworking nature. He made many friends as a trainee because of his sweet and friendly personality.

Mom : Kim Sungmi : a school teacher : Minsu and his mom were very close. She always encouraged him in everything he did and was his biggest support. She was overall a loving mother. She was caring and sweet, much like Minsu. Minsu also got his hardworking trait from her as she always did things to the best of her abilities. [She passed away]

Dad : Lee Jungsu : 54 : a lawyer : Minsu and his dad are also close but they aren't as close as they were before his mom passed away. It took a toll on both of them and they drifted away from each other for a while. Their relationship has gotten better over the years but the distance, due to Minsu's training, has not helped. His dad is one of his biggest encouragements and his support system. He always turns to his dad for advice.

Younger sister : Lee Eunsu : 18 : Student : Minsu is the typical protective older brother. It's hard for him to be the protective older brother since they live so far away from each other. However, they talk often and Minsu often confides in Eunsu, asking her opinion on situations. They have a close, playful relationship.

Pesky Maknae : Choi Jihyuk, Daemin : Idol, Sunny Days Member : Minsu loves Daemin really but he also thinks Daemin is the spawn of satan. Daemin loves teasing Minsu and Minsu bares with it. They have a back and forth relationship. Jihyuk is Minsu's baby, although he would never admit it out loud. He practically raised Jihyuk.

It's awkward : Han Gunbin : 23 : Idol, Sunny Days Member : Minsu knows that Gunbin doesn't like him much and he feels the same way. Their relationship is simply awkward and they tend to avoid each other. Their personalities just don't match well.

Close Sunbae/Friend : Do Kyungsoo : 23 : Idol, EXO : Minsu and Kyungsoo have been friends since their school days. They have a friendly relationship.

personality » IU is sweet and kind. She truly likes Minsu and wants their relationship to be something more than friends. She has a bit of a soft spot for Minsu and speaks fondly of him (which doesn't help with dating rumors). She considers herself one of Minsu's biggest fans and isn't afraid to show her support. She has a great personality and is funny. (honestly you could put whatever you want here~)

love story » They started as a sunbae-hoobae relationship and over time their relationship delveloped. IU approached Minsu and they quickly became friends and then soon after developed feelings for each other. Both are hesitant to start a relationship due to the industry they are in and they are both aware of each others feelings. Minsu fears that if he does start anything with IU, it will come back to bite him if it were to be found since he's still just a rookie. (Their relationship doesn't start until a little while into the story)
