Curious to know

Ahnyoung guys ^_^

I've a question in my head right now.

If I do want to advertise my story, how many KP should I bid?

I mean I've put the minimum 100KP and how do I know if there is another person bidding too or I lose the bid?

And most of all do I need more than 1k KP to win the bid? It's because everytime I check the calendar, the winner of the day is WOW!

Anyone can enlighten me in this matter?

A million thanks in advance <333

~Love, NoonaYoung~

I just tried it out last month and found it tedius but here is what i learned:

There are 2 calendars. One for regular rated fics and the other for rated M fanfics. The calendar shows the days available (all from that day onward) and how many points were bid at the most for each day. Click on the date you desire and place your ad title, link, description and bid the amount of points you want.

Once your bid is set you wait. If you get no notification by the bid date then it would mean your bid was successful. However, you will get one if your bid was beaten. It'll say "you are not the highest bidder". When you follow the link back it'll show how much is the highest and allow you to counter. There is apparently an auto-bid option that will automatically up your bid for higher whenever it's countered so you won't lose. Obviously that's a double-edged sword if you're trying to be careful with your KP.

I tried this for 2 stories and lost both bids because the other people had auto-bid, so no matter what i did it just kept going up o.o. i don't have all that much to spare and that drove my patience up the wall o.o. would i try again? Not likely-_-

I hope this helps ^^
