Ahhh responding to this now because I have just finished the drama. Despite many cast members not surviving the whole drama, I am quite satisfied by the end of it to be honest. I know that's unpopular opinion but I believe there's no such thing as happy ending especially with royalties and politics involved.

What I am mostly disappointed in was the fact that in all the time Hae Soo has been experiencing heartbreaks one after the other, how come she never thought about coming back to her present? As in, not even once she thought about it. At the death of Eun, I would quickly wake myself up if I were in her place so yeah, I am not convinced at all.

Speaking of Eun, he made episode 15 my most favorite despite the heartache it caused me. I am so proud of Baekhyun right there but I loved him more for the way his character grew and eventually loved his wife in the end, even choosing to die with her. What a noble death it is but I wouldn't have it any other way. Ughhh he even chose to die in the hands of his dear hyung.. *le cries

With such a commendable cast, I couldn't even choose my most favorite prince. Wook stole my heart from the start but towards the end, everyone was on equal footing, well except Won (evil brother!). Sorry I couldn't hate on HJH cos I am ecstatic to see him take on a villain role and do it so well. Blame my fangirl heart.. IU is such a lucky girl to have them all for herself

I loved this drama so much ㅠ.ㅠ I agree that Eun was my favorite~~ He was so cute and he was so childish, too! It was so sad when he died (╥﹏╥) ~~ I was doing my homework and I saw an ad for this drama and I literally stopped my homework just to rewatch the whole drama from the beginning (in the end, I didn't get to finish my homework)

Well, So knew. Something the girl said (repeating her mother's words) and the hairpin the girl was wearing. It's the one he gave to Soo. That's why So released his brother from exile and told him he could come to visit from time to time. Hoping he would bring his princess too. And respected Soo's whish to not make the girl to live in the palace. So knew it's dangereous if people find out she's his daughter.
I also hoped there would be one or two more episodes in which a reincarnated So would meet her in the future. But...

Same! Soo didn't exactly get her wish because So was still known as the bloody king and I think he guessed that the child was his and seeing how suspicious jung was acting. I really hope for a sh 2. He said he would find her. *cries*
