Appearance: Her long brown hair used to cascade down her back in soft curls, but she had cut it and dyed it after leaving her choir. Now, it is her short blonde curls that changes shades when touched by the sunlight, emphasising her small facial features. Her clear, lightly tanned skin catches a lot of people's attention, men and women alike. She has large doe eyes that change colour whenever she wants it to, but she prefers her natural dark brown orbs (they still manage to mesmerise others when they stare into them).

Standing at 167cm, people often mistake her as somebody that is vulnerable and weak because of her small, thin frame, but that's only because she wants to look weak and vulnerable; it makes it easier for her to find preys, after all. She's never had a 'bad hair day', which is an advantage of being a Siren since they're beautiful and 'perfect' no matter what. She's weighs 52 kg, but has never been underweight or overweight in her entire life. She has always been slender and graceful in whatever she wears and is able to make anything she wears look attractive. Although it is in her nature to be physically appealing and seductive, she prefers to look like her natural self. But sometimes, it's a little bit fun to mix things up.

Style: Despite her looking pure and innocent, her style is quite different; she prefers to wear cropped shirts over bright coloured blouses, and leather or denim jackets over cute sweaters and cardigans. But, she also doesn't mind wearing blouses, and sweaters, too. She sometimes wears high heels to show off her long legs or wear shoes with thick soles and platforms, but she prefers to wear converse or sneakers instead. They're much more comfortable, and she can run in them (she still needs some practice in using her human feet, after all).

She doesn't mind wearing skirts and dresses, but she'd rather wear clothes where she can move around freely without being afraid her skirt's going to ride up. She's in love with military jackets, oversized clothing and the colour black; she still often wears colourful clothing but half the time, she chooses to wear toned down colours. She doesn't own too many clothes, but even if she did, she'd probably only wear about half of them Her go-to outfit is a pair of ripped jeans, converse and a simple tee. Most of the time her style is a mix of tomboy/urban/street fashion with girly-girl, but can have slight hip-hop/alluring sides to it as well. Other times, it usually depends on her moods.

Expanded Personality:
Marcella is the type of person to hold grudges for a really long time. Ever since her choir had banished her mother after she gave birth to Marcella, she had been resenting the rest of the Sirens since young. She wants happiness in her life and likes to please others, without having to degrade herself. However, she is very temperamental and isn't afraid to bite back. She hates when others push her buttons, and loves a little challenge (as long as she gets a reward in the end). She might be a little bit possessive over some things (and maybe even some people), and can get jealous quite easily. When others act like they're more superior, it makes her sick, and she won't mind knocking some sense into them. Marcella is quite manipulative and persuasive with her words, her expressions, her voice; it's in her genes after all.

Some people might look at her and think she's innocent and pure, but oh are they wrong. She's killed plenty of people before, and isn't afraid to do it again. She is still resistent on doing it just for fun, though. She's prone to having nightmares of the people she killed and them appearing in her dreams asking her why she did it. However, she has stopped crying because of those nightmares She doesn't cry as easily now since her emotions are a lot more detached because of her past. She doesn't trust easily, and can get suspicious of others, but otherwise, she doesn't really give two sh*ts. Sometimes, though, her emotions can be really strong and she won't know how to handle it. She absolutely hates not being in control of things.

Background:
Marcella was born a Siren to a Siren mother and a seafisherman, and because her mother broke the most important rule about being a Siren by getting pregnant (and to a seafisherman, nonetheless), she was banished from the choir and was forced to leave Marcella behind after giving birth to her and raising her for four months. Ever since, Marcella had been raised by the rest of the Sirens in her choir, but she has been secluded often and has been treated like an abomination.

Because she was half human, she felt more emotion than other Sirens and they were even more powerful because of her Siren side, which meant that her heart would ache every time she had to sink a ship or would be horrified when another Siren killed a human being in a barbaric way. However, as she grew up, her strong emotions became muffled and dull, and she stopped being appalled by all the many deaths filled with blood and gore. It became a normal thing, so she got used to it after a while.

When she was sixteen years old, her eldest Siren sister forced her to kill the men from a fishing boat passing by. Although, she tried to resist, she was pressured into it. While using her sweet voice and singing their Siren Song, she had made two men commit suicide; one sliced his throat open with a fishing hook and jumped off the boat, and the other had tried to swim over to their choir's island, but had hit his hand on a large rock. The choir had been satisfied, returning back to their homes while Marcella had sat on the rocks alone. When she realises that the boat has suddenly stopped, she looked up, only sees that she had missed somebody; a child. She slips into the water and swims over to the boat, to see if she was actually seeing things or if this child was real. And because Marcella felt bad for the child after she killed his father, she gets onto the boat and calls the radio in for help. After that, she goes back into the water and guides the waves to push the boat to where she knew there was a port nearby that was a safe distance for her choir's island.

By the time Marcella turned 18, she had killed over 50 people and all were men. On her 18th birthday, Marcella was given the choice to leave or stay in the choir. She had immediately made her decision as soon as she was asked by her eldest Siren sister, which both offended and relieved the choir; she left the island when the sun began to set, and made it to the port nearby by the time the stars began to glow.

Marcella had stolen a few clothes from the clothesline of somebody's backyard, and has since then been trying to get used to walking on her human feet. She has moved around a bit despite how little she had, and finally got her first job at a pet store, where the owners were an elderly couple who allowed her to sleep in the room in the back of the store. However, the elderly couple had passed away a year after she had worked there, and their daughter (Eunbyul) had taken over the shop, turning it into a pet shop and an animal hospital. She and Eunbyul became close friends, and Eunbyul had even suggest that Marcella live in a proper house instead of the shop, but Marcella had insisted that she was fine. She interacts with humans on a daily basis, and has made some friends with the regular customers, the workers, and some of Eunbyul's friends.

Extra:
— When a Siren turns 18 years old, they have the choice of leaving or staying in the choir, but must make the decision by sunset or else they will be stuck as a Siren forever. Once a Siren decides to leave the choir at 18, they are considered enemies of the choir/the Sirens. If the Siren and her old choir were to met again, they will do whatever it takes to kill her.
— She works at a pet store, which is also an animal hospital, and often communicates with the fishes when bored. She earns a few dollars every hour, so she likes to spend much of her time there (many customers think she's crazy because she likes to talk to animals). She's been living the spare room of the shop, as the previous owners had taken a liking to her, and is close friends witht the current owner, Eunbyul.
— When she can't sleep, Marcella will climb onto the highest tree or cliff and count the stars because it helps calm her nerves. This often happens when she has nightmares.
— She tends to 'latch' on to those who truly cares for her (and she knows, because she can read minds), and she doesn't make friends easily, so she makes sure to be a loyal person to those she cares about. If talking in a romantic sense, she needs somebody dependable that will be there for her, and somebody she can trust that is strong and reliable who will be by her side and defend her no matter what. It won't hurt if he's attractive, too.
— She is currently trying to find her parents but mainly her mother, because Marcella believes that she might be in Seoul.

Abilities:
— Ageless beauty and an incredibly long life span (she can live for much longer than most humans, but a little bit shorter than Sirens because of her human genes)
— Powerful hypnotic voice and vocal chords (a.k.a mind control); could probably break your ear drums with her vocal chords if she wanted to, but her voice is mostly used to lure sailors to their deaths (how fun). However, her voice isn't powerful enough to hypnotise women. Yet. It will develop along her years and soon it'll work on all males and females.

— Can change/alter her appearance in whatever way she wants; if she wanted purple hair, it would turn that specific shade that she wanted, if she wanted green skin, she'd get green skin. She could probably change her height and face if she wanted to, too, but this involves a high concentration level that she has difficulty reaching. If she loses her concentration, she will return back to looking like herself again.

— Can fly, but is weak and prefers not to. If she tries to shift her wings out of her back, it feels like having her skin rip open slowly while having vodka poured onto the open wounds. And she can also extract her claws out, but they're just as painful as the wings; it's like having her skin of her fingernails sliced open with glass from the inside of the skin, and then having the glass get pulled out from the skin slowly.
— Her hypnotic songs won't work on somebody if they're underwater, as the waves make it harder for sound to be heard, and the sound doesn't tavel as easily because, in a way, the water blocks audio from reaching the eardrum, which makes everything sound disorted and hard to make out. (I don't know how to explain it scientifically, sorry.) Whenever a person escapes a Siren's song, it makes the Siren weaker and in some (rare) cases, the Siren will commit suicide. As for the person who escaped, they won't be able to escape from the Sirens' voices unless the Siren dies first, or if they decide to commit suicide instead. And children and the elderly are the only ones who can resist the Siren's voices and their Song.
— Can read minds; she can see somebody's deepest desires by merely touching them (this also works in a non-flirtatiousual way), and can read their minds by touching the side of the person's head. However, the mind-reading and 'seeing' somebody's desires only last up to 3 minutes on average for her and 10 minutes at the most. Because she's still a newby, she'll need rest to regain all of her energy back again, or else she won't be able to use any of her abilities at all.
— She's slower on land (and in the air, too, I guess) compared to in the water. She doesn't necessarily have to have her tail to swim/travel faster in water, but it does help. A lot. And being closer to/in the water makes it easier for her to 'control' it (calming waves, making them bigger, etc.). It's a little strange for her to walk on her feet, but she's gotten used to it over the past two year.

Comments/Suggestions: I'm sorry for making you read to much! But I feel like I'm still missing something, so let me know if I am! Also, the outfit she's wearing from the photo in the left upper corner, is her true Siren form (minus the blonde hair because she dyed it) and it is the outfit that her Siren version wears (she wore it most of the time when she was in her choir, but rarely wears it now).

Scene Request(s):
-A scene where Marcella is on the roof, staring up at the night sky and counting the stars, and her love interest comes up and sits next to her. They both just kind of sit there in comfortable silence, before the love interest decides to explain to her that he goes up onto the roof to look at the stars sometimes, too. Then he asks why she's up there, and she's hesitant, but responds reluctantly.
