shin sona is a collection of fake smiles, harsh remarks and underhanded means to get what she wants. she is regina george on the inside (and frankly, on the outside too), her inner monologue often more than not having the ability to shock others with the mean words she nonchalently spits. thankfully, she doesn't often voice out these thoughts, but rather choosing to go with the not necessarily cold approach, but simply staying lowkey. it's only when people do come to say hi to her when they realize the true nature of the seemingly relatively friendly-looking girl. a trainee for three years now, sona's often overly critical on not just herself but others as well, yelling at her fellow trainees for just a simple mistake. while instructors do admire her tenacity and so-called leadership, it's a common occurance for the other trainees to gossip and badmouth the eighteen-year-old both in front of her and behind her back. "what the is wrong with you? can you not even do a ing spin right? don't you feel bad for everyone who have to wait for you to just finish this one ing step right?" a mouth of fire, sona doesn't hold back when it comes to cursing, the busan based girl well-endowned with curses of all kinds. sona's parents are, to a certain extent, pretty well-off, and fully supportive of their daughter's career, hence have been greatly involved in the further corruption taking place in fantagio. the trainers leave her alone and if anyone does disturb her, they're given a severe warning. of course, it's simple to say this is probably why she doesn't get along with most, if not all of the trainees. having taken part in produce one oh one along with a few of her fellow trainees, sona's extremely bitter at the fact that she didn't manage to debut in ioi, unlike her labelmates yoojung and doyeon. and while she doesn't actually really have any links to any of her seniors in the company, she is friends with quite a few idols from outside fantagio - namely wjsn's eunseo and gfriend's sinb, the trio all born in the same year.
