Co-Author Wanted

Hey, so I've been thinking about future ideas and stories to write but I feel like I would work better with a Co-author. So I'm writing this as a calling of sorts to anyone who has an idea but feels they couldn't write it on their own. Down below is the outline of what and how things would go, although I am open to new ideas :)

The unofficial roles of authors

(Me)

  • Editor
  • Vocabulary
  • Working through transitions/timelines/flow
  • Idea suggestion
  • Posting/uploading story 
  • Cover art

(Co-Author)

  • Writing the rough drafts of chapters/getting words on the page
  • Idea suggestion
  • Creativity
  • Mood making in the story/setting the tone wanted

How will it work?

Via Google Documents

  • You can give an email so I can add you to a doc (I will focus on keeping the document organized)
  • This format is the easiest way we can both be working at the same time and give suggestions as the story progresses
  • If this option isn't available to you feel free to suggest an option that would work best for you :)

Who can do it?

Anyone with an idea of a story but feels like they can’t write it in full or just wants to work with someone :) Can be any story idea (short, long, fluffy, angsty, horror, etc) as long as it's in English

 

If anyone may be interested in this please let me know and we could begin working on the fine details like setting up the doc, and working on a writing and uploading schedule.

 

I'm looking forward to any possible ideas :) and may be able to take on multiple stories at a time.

I would love to collaborate with you. I am currently in the middle of a Fanfiction collaboration with another friend of mine, but I wouldn't mind writing one with you as well. Your requirements seem to be something I can fulfill and on top of that, I can provide some grammatical contribution to the story sometimes when necessary. I will warn you beforehand though, I can get writer's block sometimes and I do have a life on the sidelines as a studying student. I'd love to co-write a story with you. I've wanted to write a fanfic, but I always get sidetracked or my brain comes up with a completely different story and it's like bleh... My biggest struggle is probably starting a story or writing a proper beginning to one. Everything else for the co-author roles I think I'm good in(THINK being the key word in that sentence, lol). Usually the story ideas I come up with are HELLA ANGSTY and somewhat cliche. I try to be as original as possible tho. But yea. Also I'd love to help you with your story or story ideas too. I just started reading yours. I'm not that far yet tho, but it seems hella interesting and I'm excited.
