003. Round 6: Posting Guidelines for AFF, AO3 and LJ

Unreal 2PM has finally opened accounts on Asian Fanfics and Archive of Our Own! Here are the guidelines to posting:

HEADER INFORMATION FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

1. Regardless of where you decide to post your fic, you should fill in the information for this header. You don’t have to use this header on your own post (though you can.) This header information is to be sent to the mods by email after you finish posting your fic on either LJ, AFF, AO3, or other. We will post this information on the Compilation List.

Title: (The title of your story)
Fandom(s): (If this is a crossover, include the fandoms other than 2PM mentioned in the story.)
Focus/Pairing: (for example: Chansung-focused, or: OT6, or: gen, or: Minjun/Junho)
Rating: (G, PG, PG-13, R or NC-17)
Warnings: (This is mostly for stories rated PG-13 or above, or for things you think your readers should know about before they decide to read your story. That can include language, , mentions of blood/gore/violence, character death, etc.)
Word count: (Total number of words in your story)
Summary: (A brief summary of or a quote from your story)
Prompts: (The prompts you chose from our list, including the link to each one; for example: Pink 3, Blue 7, Purple 5.)
Link(s) to your story: (The link to your story on LJ, AO3, AFF, or other)

2. When you post your story to your own account, we ask that you mention it was written for Unreal 2PM and, if possible, include a link to the LJ community, the AFF account or the AO3 Collection. We’re asking this so that people will see there are other 2PM stories being written. As writers, we hope you understand that the more we promote this challenge, the more readers we might have for each story.

POSTING ON LIVEJOURNAL AND ASIAN FANFICS

1. On LJ: When you post your story to your Livejournal account, be sure to keep it public and not friend-locked. Remember that people who don’t have LJ accounts won’t have access to your story otherwise. If you’re used to friend-locking rated entries and/or stories with triggering content, we ask that you keep your story unlocked until February 2017. That way people will have enough time to read your story after the Round is closed.

2. The same goes for stories posted on AFF: keep your stories public. That means you should not mark any of the following Privacy Options: Friends Only, Unlisted, Member Access Only, Subscriber Access Only, and Invitation Only. The goal of this challenge has always been to share stories and not make it difficult for people to read them. There are two exceptions: stories rated M (R/NC-17) and stories marked with triggering content; AFF will make those automatically be members/subscribers-only. In that case, if your story is rated M and/or contains triggering content and you’re only posting it on AFF, we ask that you send us a .doc or .txt file (including html tags) via e-mail together with the header so that we can post your story to another platform. Thus, people will be able to read it through other means.

POSTING ON ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN

1. The final story must be posted until December 8th. Once you sign up and receive your confirmation email, you can start writing immediately. This means you can also post your story before the final deadline and add it to the AO3 collection already.

2. You will add your story to the Round 6 collection yourself. When you post your story to ao3, there's a section called "Associations." Under that, in "Post to Collections / Challenges," you should type unreal2PM_Round6. Your story will be added to the collection, but since this is moderated, the mods have to check it first so that they can make it available for other people to see it in the collection. We will try to do this ASAP.
