So I left work early today for the first time in two months to attend my brother's girlfriend's family's fall party. Try saying that ten times fast lol Anyhow, my sister and I arrived late even though we left work early.But twhen you get caught in a traffic jam near a large city that kinda doesn't help. When we got there most everyone had already eaten but we still went ahead and grabbed some food. They had one of my favorites- Mac and cheese :) I ended up not roasting a hot dog or having any smores but that was all right. After we ate we went on a hay ride. The party was at a house out in the country and the ride was really fun. I haven't been on a hay ride in years. It was windy and chilly but thank God I was wearing a light hoodie because if not, I would've been freezing. The host family owns the most adorable Saint Bernard puppy, Jazz. She is a fluffball. She apparently weighs a lot(what St. Bernard doesn't?) and her paws are like four inches wide :) Like I said she is adorable. She is also so soft to pet <3 so cute. To end the evening, we sat around a campfire and sang songs. Several people brought guitars and my brother's girlfriend played her violin. It was a lovely way to start fall and a great start to October! :)
