ELABORATION —
Ah Young is someone full of energy. People don't really know where she gets it, but she just always seems to have it in her to keep moving. She walks everywhere, to school, home. She loves to dance and play soccer. She also likes to make jokes. She's not very good at it, and sometimes people don't know what she means, but if there is a chance to crack a joke, you better believe she is gonna take it. She enjoys seeing people she cares about laugh, so she will always try to make that happen. Even it's during an inappropriate time *cough*during class*cough* Ah Young is very cooperative and adaptable, meaning it's not difficult to teach her things. She really absorbs new things like a sponge. It ties into her open-mindedness quite nicely. She enjoys trying to new things and seeing new points of view. She is easy to have a conversation with. She is the cat that curiousity killed. There is a desire to learn new things, and she is so curious about everything. She is curious about the truth about rumors at school. She has a special curiousity about the happenings of a certain soccer player she's dating. She is someone who looks at the bright side of life. She believes that good things will come to those who believe it, so she does her best to always believe it.
With her curiousity and her energy, there is a lot she keeps to herself. Rumors spread like wildfire at her school and she doesn't want to be a victim of them. She has seen people torn apart by them and she is afraid of getting hurt or her secrets hurting others. She can be a little clueless. A little bit airheaded. To other's she comes across as a little bit ditzy and a lot of the time, they really aren't wrong. She can go through the day completely unaware of a bunch of things, and honestly, she preffers it that way. What she doesn't know can't hurt her. Ah Young has a desire for people to like her and accept her, and that means she will change or be anybody for that to happen. The friends that she has now help her to stop changing herself for people and to just be her she is instead and be happy with it, but she still has some issues with it. Part of it is her weak will. It doesn't take much for her to do something for you, even if she doesn't want to. Her friends are trying to protect her from people who take advantage of that, she hated burdening them, but she can't help it. She really spends her time depending on her friends. Sometimes she can't get through a school day without their support. The only thing she doesn't need to lean on them for is her training. It's the only thing she feels she can be headstrong about.

BACKGROUND + CURRENT EVENTS —
Ayoung was born to two seemingly normal dry cleaners. She is the oldest of three with two younger brothers, Shim Jin Hoo (12) and Shim Yeong Ah (10.) She grew up in a small house with her family and went to a public elementary and junior high school. To most people, she seemed like an average everyday girl. But her family knew she was much more than that from a young age. Ayoung excelled in soccer. They didn't know how, but her parents started calliing their little mover.
She started getting into soccer clubs at school, started wanting to watch it on the tv, her parents started buying her gear and balls and everything related to it. From a young age, she wanted to play and be a soccer star. Her parents are quite happy with the path that she's chosen and support her with it 100%.

She was seriously close to her brothers. She was of course the oldest, so she helped raise the two of them. She showed them how to kick a soccer ball and it's from her that they gained their love for soccer.
When she was fourteen, she, her father, and Jin Hoo were in a terrible car accident. She sustained a cuncussion and a broken right leg. Her father got out with bumps and bruises, Jin Hoo wasn't so lucky. She had to attend her brother's funeral in a wheelchair, unable to walk and still unable to use cructches. She wasn't able to play soccer for a year and has a scar on her leg from surgery. She feels lucky to be alive but misses her brother terribly and she thinks about him everyday.
When it came to school life, her father made it very clear that education came before soccer. Opportunies for high school scholarships made their way to her for her stellar sports record. She was one of the famed scholarship students of her high school, her parents seriously proud of her.
it wasn't until her first year of high school that she met Jungkook. He really turned her world upside down. They have been dating for some time now, but he still has the power to suprise her.
RELATIONSHIPS —
• Brother - Shim Yeong Ah (10) - Funny, Creative - She loves her younger brother more than anything. He was lucky enough not to be in the car during the accident, so she helps him cope with the loss of his older brother. Very close.
• Brother - Shim Hin Hoo (12 when died) - Talented, Special - He died when she was fourteen and she is still trying to find a way to cope with his loss. It helps her to help Yeong, but she thinks about him all the time. Will cry once in awhile.
