how to study?

i would like to say this will be just another plain boring crappy rant about mi life.

well as you can see the tittle , it's " how to study ? "

this is literally my question ever since i start schooling in high school. i clearly know that i'm not a academic freak that score straight A+

nor do i really have the potential? i honestly don't know about that.

but the main question is that i have only left like a month before my national exam. its really important

yet i still couldn't study any single thing? like i really want to but the interest and feeling were just not there. its went away within minutes

its really . i really want a better result. all my rivals and friends got great result while im sitting here doing nothing.

i tried and tried really hard. even forcing myself doesn't work. i dont know what to do anymore, seriously.

Hey :) I've been through the same situation and it f***ed me up lol I hope you can find a way to fix your situation but here's my advice...

Really, all you need is dedication. You have to be dedicated, motivated, and be a try hard at studying. Find sone quiet time at a desk or something, find out what you don't understand, find videos or online textbooks, and information that talk about what you need. Relax. Watching videos always helps for me. Do you learn better by working yourself or having someone teach you? If it's the first one then give yourself some free time to get comfortable and motivated and find online stuff or notes to help you. If it's the latter, ask your teacher or a friend who's good at the material. ATTITUDE = 100 so give it your all. Ask an adult, a teacher, a friend, or a sibling for help. Teachers won't yell at you for not knowing something (unless they just said something and you asked "So what do we do?" Lololol) and if they do, then find a different teacher or even a counselor. Don't stress yourself out and good luck! ^-^ Find your style and what works best for you. I know these words sound fake and motivational speaking like but really, just put your mind to it.

It is important to find your own way to study. Don't force yourself into something you can't do. Just relax yourself and find peace and calm before you start your revision. As for me, the way i'm study was highlighting the main point when i'm doing the notes, that's the best way to remember fact and then, try to write back what you hv highlighted without looking back the revision book you have read. Incase you forgot, then you can refresh the facts. Some people, they dont even study but still manage to score great marks. But to people like me, i need to refresh my mind and study to remember. If you hv some difficulties in maths, i suggest you do a lot of past year exam exercise, because believe me, you can score maths because you have know the pattern of the question. That's the way i'm studying, i once got failed for math but manage to score and A for maths in SPM. You're having SPM this year don't you ? I wish you the best of luck and don't stress out yourself okay ?

I think everyone have different method and ways. You just need to know which way/ method suits you best. I do know some people that dosent like to study but instead they will listen attentively during lesson , do their homework . School time is all that they pay attention too and that all that they need to ace. Its different for everyone . But one thing for sure you need to have discipline and the heart to learn. If you dont then its hard.

like everyone says, find something that works with you and how you can go about making sure it makes you learn and stay with you.
i know one where there's repetition and taking a break within a thirty minute study time and going back and doing it again.
you have to make it like a habit and usually things stay intact. also peppermint helps with memory. writing it down helps.
basically just studying the material and making notes as you go, like highlighting certain parts and specific ones that are surely more important and will pop up in the exam helps too.
but it varies person to person and how you're studying is like. some are visual learners, some are audio learners, some are hands-on learners, some are physical learners like note takers, while the rest are all the above.
flashcards help too and going through the material with another person asking you questions and you answering helps as well. like i've mention it varies person to person and method to method. plus sleeping well, eating well, and not being too nervous or stress helps with it, too. good luck!

I think going to a library and having your phone turned completel off helps a lot. It basically forces you to at least do something proactive since you can't do anything else and helps you stay focused

Well, I never really studied. I just take the exam and hope for the best mostly. Unless if its maths. In which I (try to) memorise formulas right before an exam (and fails apparently). Don't do the above. It doesn't go well.
I used to read and read all my notes at least a month before the exam date and it helps even a little. At least better than nothing. And I got a group of friends to stay behind with me after school to just discuss various subjects and we studied better that way. At least at school, we could just asked any teacher for help when we need it. I got to talk to a few teachers I have never talked to who helped a lot.
I passed english and malay, did okay on everything else but maths because maths isn't for me.

if you're taking spm good luck to both of us then. first you've to try stop coming online often. choose what time you can come online and set it if possible only 30 minutes. next, you should have study time table so that your mind won't be messed up on what should you study. since time is short now focus on topic for every subject that you surely can score and master it. other than that, set in your mind that you want to study because of your parents and your future. also, if you still find it hard you gotta force yourself to study and start to love studying, enjoy it ( think about how proud you'll be, your teacher and parents!! it'll definitely boost up your determination). next, try to put thing such your social life aside and focus more on studies. if you still find it hard always pray to God and asked for help from your parents to hide your phone and thing that will distract you from studying. you can also make a quote for yourself and paste it at wall in your room so it'll make you always determined to reach your goal. I hope that'll help since I do half of it! ^^
