Need some advice

So, help me.

I've been thinking about going to Japan to further study after high school. I don't know if it's a good decision.

I'm from Malaysia and I'm having second thoughts 'cause I don't wanna leave my mother behind. Especially since my dad has passed away earlier this year.

I really don't know what to do. What do you think?

Should I tell her about this or not? Should I really apply or not?

Discuss it with her first :) Everything will sort out well if you have a heart to heart talk with your mom

I think it's better if you further your studies in local university first. Because you see, it's not that easy and simple to study locally, though. You have to think of transportation (if you study in different state), the fees, how to fill up your growling stomach, the books you would need for future studies (it's not going to be free, that only happens in primary and secondary school), actually there are many things you should take into account when you step into the life of university student. It'll make things even more harder if you decide to further your studies in Japan. I'm not trying to discourage you. No. That's not true. It's good to know that young people like you are ambitious to fly to Japan and study there and achieve your dream and goal. It's just that you need to think and think again over this matter and discuss with your mother beforehand. It's better if you gain experiences studying in local uni first before you decide to fly to Japan.

Anyway, I wish you all the best and good luck with your studies :)

I think it would be better if you tell your mom about it, so if you really got accepted on going to Japan your mom will not be shocked...
