I am SO Sick of Stealing!!! [Caution: Rant!]

Nowadays it seems near impossible to find a good story because so many good authors deactivate or delete their stories because of plagiarism. Like can people not come up with their own ideas, or at least respect the author and not steal their stories, let alone do it blatantly!!!

These thoughts have been festering in my mind for a while now especially considering on of my favorite authors (Itdoesnthurtme) recently deleted her account. I was so gutted, her stories were one of which I read over and over and still loved them as much the first time. When great authors like her get treated so disrespectfully it really irks me!

Like can people not understand that they put their time and effort to write something so amazing for us to read. They could easily spend their time on something more useful or something, yet they still put in that extra effort to make us happy.

One thing that I have recently realised a few months ago was that single comment request demand of 'update quickly'. I will admit that I used to be one of these once upon a time but now I understand just how much pressure one small phrase can put on a person. I wish some people will realise that authors actually have lives outside of their stories!

On another note I recently started college (Sophomore? for Americans I think) and I hate it -_- It's been 3 days and I already am completely done. What's really annoying is that my subject are acutally really intresting the problem is the teachers making it next level boring. I legit don't understand how someone can make you feel awake yet sleepy at the same time! Stupid magic ninja teachers...

OMG... THIS IS SOO TRUE!!!
It's true about the amount of pressure a writer feels when a reader says "Update quickly!" It's the same and I try my best, but gosh, it's really hard at times. But it's so nice to hear this from you and spreading awareness of this is great!
Even I'm also really scared of someone plagiarizing so I'm also seriously unsure and stuff :'(

This is so nice to read from a reader's perspective especially. Thank you for helping spread this awareness. xx

I'm a little worried too, I mean I've only uploaded one fic so far, but it took months to get right, and I'm starting to see a pattern in mine and one other persons work. It's incredibly frustrating to see more people response to theirs instead of mine, when even their writing style and phrases are the same.
