IM A FANBOY (Revisiting My AFF Life as a KPOP Fanboy)

Hi.

I'm Chocoe and I'm 22.

I just wanted to make a reflection about my life as a KPOP Fanboy and my life here in AFF since 2010... or maybe...

Well, I started to like KPOP back in 2008 when I saw SNSD on TV with their Genie MV then I was just curious because there are soooo many girls on that MV. So I started researching and found other KPOP groups such as Wonder Girls, TVXQ, Big Bang, and more. I was very lucky because I was able to enjoy that era together with SHINee and 2ne1 who were still rookies back then. 2008-2010 was truly the good years of KPOP. Then in 2010, I found this wonderful site but I was still a ghost reader back then (I don't have an AFF account. Kekeke) Until I decided to have an account in 2012. Then the doors of RPYING, FANDOM and all opened for me. Maybe around 2013, I became a Moderator here and I currently blog in AFF Street on Facebook and I was really glad to serve this site who opened doors for me in social media ( Thanks Nichi, I don't know if you will be able to read this blog... But thank you for the chance that you gave to me.) And in 2014, my Moderator status was taken away and AFF changed 360 with new features and stuffs. And those times, some of my favorite KPOP groups are starting to get out from the spotlight with their hiatuses. And the same as with me, I started to leave the KPOP fandom and had my own life. I grew up and started to have my work which took most of my time now. Then this past days, I tried to check out the world of KPOP and I was literally shocked. The KPOP flow totally changed sooo much. BUT even if it change, its still nice to look back and enjoy the memories. :(

And I would like to take the chance to say HI to my old friends and to the people who could still remember my handsome face (troll face).

So that's me! Your average EX KPOP FANBOY.

PS: How about you give me some suggestions on KPOP Groups? Maybe you can help me revive my little kpop blood. Kekeke

I went through the same thing. Exactly the same experience.I was introduced to dbsk first on tv. Then soon the rest. I'm an ex kpop fan as well. I do think that kpop has changed a lot and they don't really make as good music as they did back then. Most of the songs and choreographs are the same. As for now maybe BTS is okay?

I had also rest from KPOP, I started with it in 2012, Suju's Mr. simple and Bigbang's Fantastic Baby brought me there.
I would suggest to check out as the comment bellow said- definitely Black pink, or BTS ! Maybe VIXX ( a few their songs are good) But except from Bigbang I don't follow other groups on almost daily bases. I just listen to a song and in case I like it, I repeatedly listen to it :) ... but I can't call myself a fan of those groups in a sense I know their names, birthdates, daily news and other crap.
But I'd totally recommand you cerain songs (if you wanted) which I like even though I'm not sure of the quality of the groups in general :)
