Actually nope, that's what I do, just start writing on a whim with no idea where I'm going xD that hasn't really worked out for me because I get kind of unmotivated so now I do sort of plan my chapters but I'm mostly still winging everything I do

Everyone is different, some like to plan their storys, some do just like you ahah, absolutely nothing weird in that, it's just a preference I guess, so don't worry ! :P (sorry about my english ^_^)
