► First Impressions; When people meet Kat for the first time, they usually think that she is aloof, cold and snobbish because she doesn't talk much and stay on the side. But if she doesn't talk to people it's because she is shy and doesn't feel good being surrounded by strangers. That's why she wasn't very talkative when she first entered RC.
► On Stage; Kat is completely different when she is on stage. She transforms when she is dancing, she is much more confident and charismatic. When she is dancing it's ike she is in another world. She does her best for the fans.
► Camera On; When the group is on a variety show, Kat is the one that talk the least. Mainly because she never knows what to say and also because she doesn't want to be judge if she says something that people doesn't like so she stays quiet. But when she has to say something or do aegyos... she will do it but will be embarrassed right after and blush like crazy.
► Off Stage/Camera Off; When she is not surrounded by cameras, she talks more and she is more relax. She is very hard-working and perfectionnist, she can work on a dance for hours, days until she knows it perfectly. She is polite with the staffs of the different music shows, variety shows... that the girls goes to.
► With The Girls; Kat is very kind and caring with the girls. She sees them as sisters. She is always there to listen when the girls have problems. She likes to cook for them. Even if she isn't the leader, she tries to always make sure that they are fine and don't need anything.

► Kat was born on August 18, 1993 in London, England. She is the baby of the family, she has an older brother and an older sister. As a child, she had everything she wanted and she had a very happy childhood. Her parents and siblings were really loving and protective (sometimes over-protective) with her. She is very close to her parents and siblings. When she was five years old she started doing ballet. She wanted to learn it after seeing Romeo & Juliet by The Royal Ballet at The Royal Opera House. That's where she discovered her passion for dancing. She did ballet for six years, from 1998 to 2003.
► Kat grew up listening to old english rock band like The Beatles, from her father; rap music, mainly eminem from her older brother; and pop/rnb music, like Alicia Keys from her older sisters. Thanks to that she developped a very diverse taste in music.
► In school, she had a friend who listened to kpop and one day she showed to Kat a music video of Fin K.L "Now". Her friend told her that she was trying to learn the lyrics of the song and Kat told her that she could teach her the choreography. And that's how she discovered Kpop. After Kat listened to Kpop a lot more and learnt the choreography. In 2003, her friend told her that RC was doing auditions in London and asked Kat to come with her because her friend was too nervous to go alone. Kat agreed to go after a lot persuading from her friend, she didn't really wanted to go to the audition because she didn't sing very well and wasn't very confident in her dancing abilities even if everyone told her that she was a good dancer. So she auditioned and got in RC, Kat was shocked because she never thought that she would be accepted in RC. She was also very nervous because that meant that she was going to leave England to go to South Korea. Her parents weren't too happy to let her go alone to Seoul but the CEO promised her parents that Kat would be taken care of well. After discussing it a lot, her parents agreed to let her leave for South Korea.

► Kat trainee life was at first quite hard. She didn't knew how to speak korean, she was homesick and she didn't really talked to the other trainees because she was too shy. She thought about giving up and going back to the UK because she felt too lonely and training was harder than what she thought it would be. She had singing, dancing and rapping lessons. She learned korean. A year after Kat began her training, her family came to see her and asked her if everything was okay. She told them that she didn't knew if she was going to continue training because she missed home too much. Her brother was the one who convinced her not to give up. After that she started to speak with the other trainees. They became close and now she sees them as sisters. The end of her trainee years passed rather quickly.
