So my day was fantastic. Long and my feet are killing me but fantastic.

I turned up at the Samsung Blue Square Hall in Hangangjin at 3. 3 hours before the concert was due to start. It was already packed out with people. Mostly young girls but there were a lot of people my age and some older women (mostly around 40 and all carrying Woohyun merch haha). There were some guys but they looked like unwilling boyfriends more than fans. I also saw about... 4 foreigners like me, ie non Asians (because there were a lot of Japanese and Chinese people there) but none were near me. 

Then lines started at 4 for standing and, interestingly, when you buy a concert ticket it is numbered. So I had standing section A number 512. So when I got in line I had to stand in spot 512 and I was the 512th person to be let into section A. People self policed that line too. The staff never actually checked the numbers but the fans were all super careful to stand in the right place. 

Doors opened at 5. Show started at 6. I was second section back and right against the barrier. So it was awesome. So basically I was in standing section A which was split by number into 2 further sections. Numbers 1 to 500 got the front section and 500 to 1000 got the back section. I was number 512 So I could get really close to the barrier and I was actually leaning on it by the end of the show and was never more than 1 person back. 

So yeah. Infinite are fantastic live. More than fantastic. Their dancing is incredible and their vocals were on point. Woohyun was sick so missed part of the show, but he came back for the last song. So that was cool of him. He looked seriously rough by the end. He made it through Be Mine and then couldn't do it anymore. I think it was just a cold. But doing that through a cold would still . He also seemed to have an injured hand. Poor thing. 

Things of note:

L did the dance break in Bad and had Sungkyu in tears of laughter. 

Dongwoo is a dork.Theyd be singing a song, all sat down and Dongwoo wouldn't stood up dancing. 

Sungjong sang Boyfriend and actually made me kinda like that song. His English was clear too. 

They talked a lot and my Korean is poor so I missed most of it. But watching the interplay between the members was cute. They mess around a lot and They just seemed to be having fun. 

Dongwoo's parents were in the audience and it was his dad's birthday. The entire crowd sang for him. 

Sungkyu and Woohyun both performed their solo title tracks and it was sad but amazing. Their voices though. 

They had these little videos when they were costume changing called '3 minut. Boyfriend' and I hope they appear online with sins because the premise seemed to be that a comedian woman from Saturday night live (i think) had these boxes which day they have an instant boyfriend in them. She summons them and they are each different but all overall irritating. Like Sungyeol cuts his toe nails in public and yells 'what you looking at' at people. Sungkyu only speaks in song lyrics. Woohyun is too greasy. Sungjong is too obsessed with himself. Etc. So id love to see subbed versions. 

Infinite fans don't chant encore. They chant 'dashi dorawa' in the tune of the song. It was actually kind of creepy sounding. 

Fan chants are impressive. 

Special mention to Sungyeol for singing Pick Me (by IOI and the catchers song ever) whilst dressed as a school girl version of Harley Quinn.complete with bunches and baseball bat. 

Also the new teaser for the upcoming comeback looks amazing. It's dark and really cool looking. Think those crime solving boards with all the pictures, pins and red threads. It was that. The members all pulled down a smarter blind and looked through those. There was also a pentagram. So I'm hoping it's a darker song along the lines of Bad because I love that song so much. 

I also happened to catch the group's van as it was leaving. Dongwoo had the window down and was waving to the fans. 

Didbt get any photos because you got kicked out (no warning I saw it happen) if you did. You could take photos in the very last song but I didn't get any good ones. 

Long post over. So yeah. I had fun. Infinite is awesome. Can't wait to see SHINee in 3 weeks if all concerts will be like that.
