I Hate When People Do This。。。。(Long Rant)

(WARNING: THIS IS AN OPINION OF MINE, PLUS LONG RANT & THERE'S SOME MINOR MISUNDERSTANDING ON THIS I WAS TIRED OKAY) I have a confession I want to make. And I don't want to offend many people, well I think I'll probably offend some too, but eh there're one of the butthurt people.

Alright here we go.

   I hate when people says things like "Oh I only follow people if they're South Korean." But it doesn't bother for me as much, but it's kinda a little rude isn't it? Before you all get really ticked off at me I'll explain first I even one time watched a video of a girl who was a BIG K-Pop fan and there was something she said that made me feel uneasy but I think these were the words she said "The moment you realize you only follow and subscribe to people just because they're Korean...Yeah that's so me." She even said that like it's very normal for her to say. There's some people I've met who are like this in social media such as Twitter, Instagram, Wattpad, etc but instead of thrashing at them, I just ignored them. BUT THAT'S NOT THE WORST PART LOOK AT THIS, I TOOK A SNAPSHOT OF THIS;

I'm not even going to explain about the situation but I'll pray it's a joke, and if I found out it's not a joke, i'm literally going to hurl myself out the window that's next to me. That. My friends is called a 'Koreaboo' It's like weeaboo except they say Korean words instead of Japanese and basically try to act Korean & It's SUPER RACIST.FROM WHAT I HEARD.

Example;

Bruh. 'How to look Korean'? More like 'How to look embarrassing' Honestly you're trying to act like you're not the race you're supposed to be, but instead you try to act like another nationality. You can get it here: It's like typing 'How to look white' But hey, I ain't white and I'm not hating on the race, I'm just giving an example. I've seen most videos like "how to look Korean' And honestly, the person who's giving to tutorial look like the stereotypical South Korean girl you know, the aegyo sal on the bottom of her eyes, double eyelids with eye contacts, white fair skin & a small skinny body. Well guess what? Not all Korean girls look like that, about most of them either has monilid or single eyelids from what I know. But my gut tells me that one of these people are trolls by trying to gain attention from acting Korean wannabe. You think this rant is over oh ho ho hold there, no way it's over...yet.

 SOME.KPOP.FANS.SOMETIMES.CAN.BE.A.LITTLE.EXTRA.

You know when you're on social media and you see you're favorite K-Pop idol (Choi Youngjae for example) Take a selfie, see what I did there I said selfie not selca. And when you're scrolling down the comments from IGOT7....There are some K-Pop fans call the idol 'Oppa' No...Just...No, non-Korean fans as a matter of fact, but here's one thing you have to hear me out...If you're not writing in Hangul like this; 사랑해요:  Then don't even bother to type something like this Oppa!!! Saranghaeyo~!!!!. It reminded me of one time I saw a video from Youtube of BTS at Los Angeles airport, arriving at LA, You think it's all fun and games when you hear closely at what some fans say, some said things like "Oppa! Saranghaeyo!" Or "Jeongguk oppa!" Okay I get it that you love the younger but they can understand SOME English you can just simply say "I love you Jungkookie!" Simple as that I can imagine how Namjoon might've felt a little uneasy as ARMY were calling him oppa, okay Korean lesson time everyone gather around the fire.

 As most of you K-Pop fans know 'oppa' Is a term for a younger woman calling their close older male friend and 'sunbae' Is another term for seinior who has more experience than you and of course is older than you. Now about the oppa thing....There's some Korean males who doesn't feel uncomfortable as a young female foreigner calling him 'oppa' And there's some that are laid-back saying you can calling them oppa if you want. BUT. If you move to South Korea, and you become close friend of a Korean male who's one year older than you, they might let you call them oppa. But what most K-Pop fans don't know is about the fact you have to be close to that male. Remember what I said a while back Namjoon might feel uneasy when non-Korean fans called him oppa, well it doesn't a genious to figure this out. He was born and raised at South Korea he was taught about it and when you call him that, but one thing is that you know Namjoon just by the internet you know on Twitter and listen to his music but what you don't know is that HE doesn't know you too good, all he knows is that you're just another fan of him. It's like when a stranger made a conversation with you and ask for you're number then the next day he's already calling you friend when you just met yesterday it's exactly like that would you feel uneasy? Think before you write.

*Closes Book*

The more you know.

~~~
I don't even know why I made this blog, but please don't be offended by my words I'm not saying EVERY K-Pop fans are like this, but there are in fact some that act like this, also I might've made some mistakes and misunderstandings about the Korean terms so do catch some of the mistakes I made it would be nice (I was only going to make this short but I got distracted so Idc)
I think its important to first accept ourself and be proud of who we are instead of trying to be someone else... One shall never forget their roots . Its so sad how easily people can be influenced .
I don't know how they feel about foreign fans saying it, but in Korea it is normal and accepted for younger fans to call idols that they don't know oppa or unnie (^ᴗ^)b
And I actually feel sorry for the people who want to be a different race (whatever race that may be). They must really dislike themselves to feel that way (´・ . ・`) It's sad!
