So there's this friend of mine who joined AFF literally yesterday and wrote a *ahem**ahem* about two popular idols... When I visited her page, it was like:

(Duh, of course her page is hidden. I just exaggerated it xD)

I was like, "WTF, how did you manage to get alot of subscribers in one day just because you wrote a fic about two idols!?"

While mine is like around:

Okay, OKAY. I took a moment to reflect. Maybe... Maybe, I should also write a fic about two unlikely people... A ship people has never seen before. A ship that's so f-ing unique you'll fall off your chair. I present to you:

I should start writing a fic about them xD lol I wonder how it will turn out.

How To Gain A Lot Of Subscribers

1) Add random AFF members as friends.

- This way, when you make a blog about your story, they'll check it out. Also, have you ever wondered why fics get featured? Mainly because some of the fic's authors have sh!t ton load of friends.

2) Write a fic using the most popular idols in AFF.

- Correct me if I'm wrong, but the most popular tag in AFF is exo which is around  (132,803).

That's right, a lowercase e, not an uppercase E. 

3) Even though your writing , people will still read your story.

- As long as they're fans. Period.

-  Also, if your grammar really , then you can tell people that English is not my native language and majority will take consideration. lol.

- Or get a betareader / proofreader so more people can read it.

- Make sure you've done the previous steps (i.e. add random friends, make blogpost, make story using the recommended tag, exo)

- Seriously, I've seen EXO stories with either or all:

= Sh!t characters

= WTF plotlines

= Slow af progression of the story

4)  Advertising works too.

- Seriously. it does. Make sure you find an experienced or trusted advertisement shop for better results.

5) Write according to the popular tags. Recommended

- They aren't called popular tags for no reason. The most popular tags on the site are:

exo (132k+)

romance (132k+)

you (79k+)

angst (61k+)

fluff (50k+)

oneshot (48k+)

6) Switch your story to Subscribers-Only so that people have to subscribe (and you get one karma) before reading your story.

- This is to prevent people from reading your story till the end and they'll just "Meh" and leave. At least when they unsubscribe, you'll not lose the 1 karma.

7) Update your story everyday / every two days.

- This is to when people search the tag your story has, the first story they'll see is yours.

- But your subs might get annoyed :P
