Conflicting Work management

I told the woman I work for at the hair supply store, before she hired me: I have another job, and I'm a student. She wants me to work 4 days a week for 6.5 hrs...Not a big deal as of now since my hours are inconsistent at my other job. However once I start back school my availability will not be as opened. She can't seem to understand that if I am scheduled one day at my job, that I should be there to at least work that one day.

For the first two weeks of August she and her husband will be out of town because her family flew in from Korea. And I have my work schedule set for those first two wks, however I was also scheduled at my other job as well... She wanted to know why I work my other job and asked if I had to keep that job... Yes I have to keep the job! I need a stable and consistent work environment and I've been at my other job since March and I'm getting paid more. I was just seeking another part-time job will hours were short. Not a full-time, and part time job, along with being a student who has to drive 30-45 minutes to school... I too am busy just as much as they are :(

Her husband seems much more understanding and less demanding. She can be a bit bossy from time to time.

I know you're working two jobs because you feel like you need to, but when it comes down to it, your well being is most important. I know it's hard to just up and leave a job, but if the manager isn't understanding, and you can't find a compromise, it might just be best to leave that second job and focus on the first one in addition to school, which should be your first priority. Best of luck and I hope everything works out :)
