I've reached a new milestone on AFF

Three days before my four years anniversary on AFF I have surpassed yet another milestone! Today I've passed 7000 unique subscribers. And 12400 something total subscribers yesterday. I'm very honored to have so many enjoying my stories even if I at updating on regular basis.

To me, this is quite an honor to have come to this place with AFF. I hadn't in my wildest dreams expected to be where I am today. Never. I never in my wildest dreams imagined surpassing 2000 unique subscribers no matter how long I stayed. And here I am, with a single story, surpassing 2500 subscibers and two different sequels with around 1000 each. I don't like bragging (which I kind of feel like this is) but at the same time, I need to get the numbers out there so I can explain just how amazed I am about this.

When I started writing in the middle of 2012, I was beyond amazed when I reached 20 subscribers. The first time I passed 50 subscribers I was convinced I could play the lottery the same day and win. Since then I've been telling myself: "When I reach 50 subscribers, I'll upload the first chapter." Oh how many times I've been forced to quickly write the last half of the first chapter or change my statement to: "Alright, when I reach 100, I'll upload the first chapter. Once I reached 100 subscribers in 24 hours and I couldn't understand what was going on. I was sure it was a glitch in the server, but no, apparently not. My passion for writing has not gone down since I started, quite on the contrary, it increases every day, but the quality expectations for myself are rising, and my knowledge of what it requires to live a life has increased drastically too. Who would have known you have to work to live on your own? Unfortunately the days don't become any longer just because you have more to do, and since writing at my current level doesn't pay the bills, that's a passion I'll have to put on pause on most days. And still I managed to reach this cool milestone in the middle of everything, just when I was the most annoyed by life (long story short, broke my arm and hasn't been able to work 4 weeks now and it hurt too much to write).

Now school is starting again in a month, I'm going on vacation and starting work again. I applied for a new job, so I can work 3 jobs while studying. I need the money I couldn't earn during my summer holiday, and no way I'm putting my trip to New York on pause because of a broken arm. So writing will continue to be on a low for a little while longer. With a little luck, I should be back to writing as I want to by November again, and stories will have more frequent updates.

This ended up becoming a jumbled  celebration/rant/information post. See this is what happens when I don't know where I'm going with things and only type what comes to mind to get things off my chest.
