Basically my parents were immigrants and they've seen how American kids are. They've seen young kids get consumed by drugs and alcohol. They've seen young girls make the mistake of trusting a stranger and ending up being . They've seen how girls get disgusting cat calls by creeps when wearing short clothes. They want to just protect me. They're in a country that's not there's and they want me to grow up right. They want to have a daughter that's pure and doesn't go down the wrong path. Raising kids isn't easy. I understand that when they yell at me and don't let me do things they just want to protect me. I mean the world is a scary place and there's only so much they can do to protect me. They want to teach me good morals so I can live a nice and safe live and I can pass this stuff to my kids too
