dasom became one of the only people that's aware of daul's mental state; her issues, her grievances, the darkness that manifests within. it's not to say that dasom doesn't regret the death of her sister but there are hurdles to overcome and although dasom had gotten over it, daul just cant seem to haul herself over the barricade. since daul doesn't particularly keep in contact with her parents anymore, her sister is the closest family she has. her sister is also arguably, the closest person daul has in her life. they don't chat on the daily or anything, neither daul or dasom like to talk too much about their issues (or whatever madness that goes on in their brains) but they're relatively closeknit; daul often being the first person that dasom would turn to if she needed help (usually financially). daul pays all the fees for dasom's tertiary education. although daul chooses not to speak to her parents anymore, dasom still travels back to their hometown in busan, once a year, to see them.

"i love daul. she means well. but she's not okay. i don't know how to help her anymore."  

dating for almost four years, it would be assumed that taehyun would know daul like the back of his hand. however, after the death of daeun two years ago, taehyun can't seem to understand daul anymore. they're not intimate much and because of daul's busy schedule, it's not often that they can be with eachother. regardless, taehyun still frequently checks up on daul. he partially finds that it's his duty to, he's not sure he loves her like he used to but leaving her while she's in such a mental state just never played out well in his head. daul appreciates him but can't exactly express herself properly — she won't go to him with her problems (not that she'd go to anyone) and it's become more and more stale whenever they're together. they relationship isn't moving anywhere but daul is too vacant to do anything about it and taehyun doesn't think it would be any good for her mental health.

"i'll always be there for her. i have to be."   




 

the coworker who had told daul about thrill in the beginning was wonjung. again, daul isn't exactly close to wonjung but because of her reclusive nature, decides that he's close enough to be included. they're signed under the same modelling agency in both new york and south korea. wonjung is also currently residing in seoul and she occasionally sees him at modelling gigs. all of their conversations are usually rather superficial and wonjung is very self-kept, rarely telling much about himself. he hears about how daul wants to "do something fun" and that is when he suggests thrill and shows her what it's about. he doesn't exactly tell her that he's participated in it but he's definitely eluded to it.

"she's sweet. i don't know what else to say."
