- Her parents thought that jongin would be a good fit for nahla because of the promise he showed as a future king, and the fact that he is the most well known among his 11 siblings.
BACKGROUND — ba nahla is the only child to edenian king, ba naewon and queen ba hye won, and is next in line for the throne. edenia is a small kingdom, whose neighbor is eudamonia led by king jaewoo. edenia is surrounded by mountains and waterfalls, which is why it is called edenia because it resembles the garden of in edenia men and women are equal so there isn't a superiority complex there, besides the royal family.Growing up nahla didn't have friends, due to the fact that she was never allowed out of the palace. which honestly this explains her lack of people skills.Growing up in edenia nahla recieved the utmost attention, from the servants. sadly her parents weren't all too in their daughters life, not like a regular parent normally is anyway. nahla spent a lot of time being cared for by the maids and servants, more so than she did by her own mother. when she was younger, nahla couldn't understand how parents who were still alive and well weren't spending time with there own child. Although when she got older she learned not to expect from her parents. THEIR TOP PRIORITY WAS RUNNING THE KINGDOM, AND NAHLA DOESN'T BLAME THEME BECAUSE I MEAN IT'S THEIR JOBS, but she stil wishes to have her parents involved in her life more. When it came to nahla her parents always said, " focus on school, become an edenian warrior, and find a husband" nahla was a good student but her main focus was becoming an edenian warrior. In edenia it is common for women to become warriors and defend edenia, princesses also become warriors. All females of the royal family have been warriors and wear the title proudly. the training for said title is very difficult and only the best get selected. when nahla passed her training she was excited, and she ran to tell her mother. when the news was delivered nahla's mother was extremely proud, this was the first time nahla had actually seen her mother so proud of her. this one reaction alone mad nahla want to do better, so she did, climbing the ranks until she was apart of the edenian imperial gaurd . she was excellent in sword fighting and hand to hand combat and soon all of the young girls in the kingdom aspired to be just like the princess.
Nahla's life as a warrior was getting pretty serious when her father told her that they were sending her to eudamonia for an arranged marriage. Essentially nahla was upset, " how could they decide a suitable partner for me when they themselves don't even know me?" , she thought when they told her they wanted her to get married to the 11th son, she immediately refused saying, " i will go, but you must let me find my own husband, please do not force me to marry someone i do not know." so they agreed if nahla went to eudamonia the she was to marry who ever she chose, he just had to be one of the kim brothers. So she went with their agreement in mind, although that promise was soon to be broken by a certain brother by the name of park chanyeol.

The entire palace was in a frenzy, servants were running around, cooks prepare the largest meal they had made in a while, maids meticulously cleaning every inch of the palace, security being increased, the twelve sons making sure they looked their absolute best. why? Because, today was finally the day that the edenian princess was finally coming to the palace. AS the time for the princess to finally arrive grew nearer chanyeol got more anxious. he had a strange feeling that the arrival of this princess was going to change his life forever, AND boy was he right.

All of the servants, maids,and gaurds of the palace were waiting near the entrance in lines all bowing as she went by, and as arrogant as it msy sound nahla didn't pay them any mind. Although nahla looked calm on the outside she was getting more nervous she got to the throneroom in which she was going to be meeting the king and his twelve sons. she normally doesn't act like this but today just felt different. when she finally made it to the tall doors of the throneoom she took a deep breath and put her usual unreadable expression on her face. as fearless as she usually is, today she was just plain nervous and hesitated to enter the room. " is everything alright princess?", one of her gaurds asked. she turned to him gave him a small smile and replied, "i'm fine, will you open the doors for me please?" HER GUARDS OPENED THE DOORS AND IMMediately all eyes turned to her. She walked in to the room and immediately spotted the king sitting on his throne. she walked past his sons who were lined up from the youngest to the oldest and headed straight to king jaewoo. she bowed 90 degrees and said her greeting to the king, who smiled and nodded his head in approval. she then turned to the twelve sons, they all were dashingly handsome but there was one who caught her eye almost immediately. He had dark brown hair and an adorablY HANDSOME baby face. " i've heard about this one before, i believe his name is chanyeol" , she thought to herself.
the sons watched as princess nahla entered the room, with such grace and a fierce aura. tHEY SILENTLY WATCHED AS SHE PAYED HER RESPECTS TO THE KING, AND WITH THE SMILE THAT APPEARED ON HIS FACE THE KING ALSO SEEMED TO BE PLEASED WITH THE YOUNG PRINCESS. They watched as she finally turned to them and slowly looked down the line with her eyes, looking at each of them with an unreadable expression, except for one. Yet again they watched as she stopped when she got to their brother, chanyeol, her expression faltered a bit and they swore that they saw a small smile and a blush appear on her face. She lingered on him a little longer than she did the rest. she then continued to assess the other brothers, and then whispered something to one of her guards. they were curious as to what she told him but not two seconds later the guard said ,"the princess would like to meet each of you personally." she then proceeded to go down the line greeting each son, learning their name and age.
When nahla finally made it down to chanyeol everyone got quiet as they watched the two interact. Their greetings started the same as it did with everyone else a bow and chanyeol introducing himself , "hello, my name is park chanyeol, 8th son of king jaewoo" ,with a smile she responded with , " ah, yes chanyeol, i've heard of you." he gave her one his adorable smiles and said, "all good things i hope", she nodded and said, " maybe, if i'm being honest i've been wanting to meet you." he smiled and said, " seems you kept me waiting long enough.", she gave him a small smile and replied saying, " it seems i have.", walking away to greet the other siblings.

After that interesting meetng with princess nahla, CHANYEOL WAS SMITTEN, and knew that with nahla around things were going to get interesting. Dinner had gone well, with his brothers making conversation with the princess. Although the two's constant peeks at eachother didn't go unnoticed by everyone at the table. When dinner was finally finished and everyone was reporting back to their rooms chanyeol approached nahla and asked, "would you like to take a walk with me?", SHE NODDED AND BLUSHED, WHICH REALLY CONFUSED HER BECAUSE THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT SHE had ever acted that way. On the walk the two got to know each other and nahla and chanyeol both realized that they were the one for each other.

After nahla and chanyeol's little romantic walk around the palace garden the two started spending more time together. IT WAS OBVious to the both of them that they had feelings for each other, nahla was just waiting for chanyeol to act on it. before he could though, he had to get the kings approval, which he did, and he finally asked her to allow him to court her. since the reason she even came to eudamonia was for marriage the two immediately got engaged and are currently in the process of planning their wedding.
( I wanted to leave their endgame open to you, in case nahla is chosen, like if theirs a death between the two of them, or an inprisonment, or banishment, idk whatever flows with the story ,because i didn't want their relationship to be based on what i wanted because most likely im gonna give them some cliche' happy ending. BACKGROUND — ba nahla is the only child to edenian king, ba naewon and queen ba hye won, and is next in line for the throne. edenia is a small kingdom, whose neighbor is eudamonia led by king jaewoo. edenia is surrounded by mountains and waterfalls, which is why it is called edenia because it resembles the garden of in edenia men and women are equal so there isn't a superiority complex there, besides the royal family.Growing up nahla didn't have friends, due to the fact that she was never allowed out of the palace. which honestly this explains her lack of people skills.Growing up in edenia nahla recieved the utmost attention, from the servants. sadly her parents weren't all too in their daughters life, not like a regular parent normally is anyway. nahla spent a lot of time being cared for by the maids and servants, more so than she did by her own mother. when she was younger, nahla couldn't understand how parents who were still alive and well weren't spending time with there own child. Although when she got older she learned not to expect from her parents. THEIR TOP PRIORITY WAS RUNNING THE KINGDOM, AND NAHLA DOESN'T BLAME THEME BECAUSE I MEAN IT'S THEIR JOBS, but she stil wishes to have her parents involved in her life more. When it came to nahla her parents always said, " focus on school, become an edenian warrior, and find a husband" nahla was a good student but her main focus was becoming an edenian warrior. In edenia it is common for women to become warriors and defend edenia, princesses also become warriors. All females of the royal family have been warriors and wear the title proudly. the training for said title is very difficult and only the best get selected. when nahla passed her training she was excited, and she ran to tell her mother. when the news was delivered nahla's mother was extremely proud, this was the first time nahla had actually seen her mother so proud of her. this one reaction alone mad nahla want to do better, so she did, climbing the ranks until she was apart of the edenian imperial gaurd . she was excellent in sword fighting and hand to hand combat and soon all of the young girls in the kingdom aspired to be just like the princess.
Nahla's life as a warrior was getting pretty serious when her father told her that they were sending her to eudamonia for an arranged marriage. Essentially nahla was upset, " how could they decide a suitable partner for me when they themselves don't even know me?" , she thought when they told her they wanted her to get married to the 11th son, she immediately refused saying, " i will go, but you must let me find my own husband, please do not force me to marry someone i do not know." so they agreed if nahla went to eudamonia the she was to marry who ever she chose, he just had to be one of the kim brothers. So she went with their agreement in mind, although that promise was soon to be broken by a certain brother by the name of park chanyeol.

CHANYEOL CLEARLY REMEMBERS THE DAY HIS FATHER TOLD HIM THAT THE PRINCESS FROM THE NEIGHBORING COUNTRY, EDENIA, WAS COMING TO VISIT EUDAMONIA.HIS FATHER INFORMED HIM, ALONG WITH HIS TWELVE BROTHERS, THAT SHE WAS COMING TO CHOOSE A SUITOR FOR MARRIAGE. HIS LEVEL OF CARE FOR THE SITUATION WAS ABOUT ZERO, HE WASN'T INTERESTED ,AND HAD ALREADY TOLD HIMSELF THAT THE EDENIAN PRINCESS WASN'T GOING TO TAKE THE SLIGHTEST INTEREST IN HIM. HE WAS SURE HIS YOUNGER BROTHER ,JONGIN, WAS GOING TO BE THE SUITOR SHE PICKED, BECAUSE ALOT OF THE GIRLS IN THE KINGDOM LOVED JONGIN, ESPECIALLY FOR HIS LOOKS AND HIS IMPISH CHARM.
NEWS HAD GOTTEN AROUND THE KINGDOM THAT THE EDENIAN PRINCESS WAS COMING TO TOWN AND IT SENT THE KINGDOM INTO A BUZZ, AND ALTHOUGH CHANYEOL WAS NOT INTERESTED IN BECOMING HER SUITOR HE WAS CURIOUS ON WHAT THE PRINCESS LOOKED LIKE. HE'D BEEN HEARING SOME OF THE WOMEN IN THE KINGDOM GOSSIP ABOUT HER BEAUTY AND HE ALSO REMEMBERS HEARING SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF HER BEING A WARRIOR. HIS FATHER PROBABLY SPENT AN HOUR LECTURING HIM AND HIS TWELVE BROTHERS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF TREATING THIS PRINCESS WELL. WITH THE WAY HIS FATHER WAS HAVING HIS SERVANTS ENSURE THAT SHE ENJOYED HER STAY IN EUDAMONIA, CHANYEOL WAS BEGINING TO THINK THIS PRINCESS WAS PRETTY HIGH MAINTENANCE.

The entire palace was in a frenzy, servants were running around, cooks prepare the largest meal they had made in a while, maids meticulously cleaning every inch of the palace, security being increased, the twelve sons making sure they looked their absolute best. why? Because, today was finally the day that the edenian princess was finally coming to the palace. AS the time for the princess to finally arrive grew nearer chanyeol got more anxious. he had a strange feeling that the arrival of this princess was going to change his life forever, AND boy was he right.
nahla arrived at the palace a little before dinner time, just enough time to meet the sons and have a welcoming feast. she walked into the palace with two edenian guards in tow, although personally she felt like she didnt need them. All of the servants, maids,and gaurds of the palace were waiting near the entrance in lines all bowing as she went by, and as arrogant as it msy sound nahla didn't pay them any mind. Although nahla looked calm on the outside she was getting more nervous she got to the throneroom in which she was going to be meeting the king and his twelve sons. she normally doesn't act like this but today just felt different. when she finally made it to the tall doors of the throneoom she took a deep breath and put her usual unreadable expression on her face. as fearless as she usually is, today she was just plain nervous and hesitated to enter the room. " is everything alright princess?", one of her gaurds asked. she turned to him gave him a small smile and replied, "i'm fine, will you open the doors for me please?" HER GUARDS OPENED THE DOORS AND IMMediately all eyes turned to her. She walked in to the room and immediately spotted the king sitting on his throne. she walked past his sons who were lined up from the youngest to the oldest and headed straight to king jaewoo. she bowed 90 degrees and said her greeting to the king, who smiled and nodded his head in approval. she then turned to the twelve sons, they all were dashingly handsome but there was one who caught her eye almost immediately. He had dark brown hair and an adorablY HANDSOME baby face. " i've heard about this one before, i believe his name is chanyeol" , she thought to herself.
the sons watched as princess nahla entered the room, with such grace and a fierce aura. tHEY SILENTLY WATCHED AS SHE PAYED HER RESPECTS TO THE KING, AND WITH THE SMILE THAT APPEARED ON HIS FACE THE KING ALSO SEEMED TO BE PLEASED WITH THE YOUNG PRINCESS. They watched as she finally turned to them and slowly looked down the line with her eyes, looking at each of them with an unreadable expression, except for one. Yet again they watched as she stopped when she got to their brother, chanyeol, her expression faltered a bit and they swore that they saw a small smile and a blush appear on her face. She lingered on him a little longer than she did the rest. she then continued to assess the other brothers, and then whispered something to one of her guards. they were curious as to what she told him but not two seconds later the guard said ,"the princess would like to meet each of you personally." she then proceeded to go down the line greeting each son, learning their name and age.
When nahla finally made it down to chanyeol everyone got quiet as they watched the two interact. Their greetings started the same as it did with everyone else a bow and chanyeol introducing himself , "hello, my name is park chanyeol, 8th son of king jaewoo" ,with a smile she responded with , " ah, yes chanyeol, i've heard of you." he gave her one his adorable smiles and said, "all good things i hope", she nodded and said, " maybe, if i'm being honest i've been wanting to meet you." he smiled and said, " seems you kept me waiting long enough.", she gave him a small smile and replied saying, " it seems i have.", walking away to greet the other siblings.

After that interesting meetng with princess nahla, CHANYEOL WAS SMITTEN, and knew that with nahla around things were going to get interesting. Dinner had gone well, with his brothers making conversation with the princess. Although the two's constant peeks at eachother didn't go unnoticed by everyone at the table. When dinner was finally finished and everyone was reporting back to their rooms chanyeol approached nahla and asked, "would you like to take a walk with me?", SHE NODDED AND BLUSHED, WHICH REALLY CONFUSED HER BECAUSE THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT SHE had ever acted that way. On the walk the two got to know each other and nahla and chanyeol both realized that they were the one for each other.
( okay, thats the end of my little story, i just kind of wanted to write out how they first met, but if you would like me to continue this way then i'll change it and continue this little story i have going on.from now im just going to be explaing their love story)
After nahla and chanyeol's little romantic walk around the palace garden the two started spending more time together. IT WAS OBVious to the both of them that they had feelings for each other, nahla was just waiting for chanyeol to act on it. before he could though, he had to get the kings approval, which he did, and he finally asked her to allow him to court her. since the reason she even came to eudamonia was for marriage the two immediately got engaged and are currently in the process of planning their wedding.
( I wanted to leave their endgame open to you, in case nahla is chosen, like if theirs a death between the two of them, or an inprisonment, or banishment, idk whatever flows with the story ,because i didn't want their relationship to be based on what i wanted because most likely im gonna give them some cliche' happy ending. So you can decide if they still get married or whatever happens in their relationship.so you can add all the drama and stuff like that, because honestly im horrible at that type of stuff. So therefore nahyeol's |their shipname lol| relationship is now in your handS!
RELATIONSHIPS —
FATHER || KING JAEWOO (??) || CHANYEOL IS LIKE KING JAEWOO'S INFORMANT ON HIS BROTHERS. CHANYEOL ACTS LIKE THE KINGS SPY TO SEE WHICH OF HIS BROTHERS ARE LIKELY CANIDATES FOR THE ROLE AS KING. CHANYEOL AND THE KING AREN'T ALL THAT CLOSE, I MEAN HOW CLOSE CAN THEY BE, HE HAS 11 OTHER SIBLINGS AND HIS FATHER IS FOCUSED ON HIS DUTIES AS KING. THE ONLY REASON CHANYEOL IS LIKE A SPY IS BECAUSE THE KING KNOWS HE'S TRUSTWORTHY AND ISN'T BIASED.
