BACKGROUND +

+Lexis' father ran off with a rich heiress before she was even born, leaving her mother with a suprise pregnancy only a few months later. By this time it was too late  and her mother had lost all contact. Infact her father specifically made sure not to leave any evidence of his cheating and wiped all records clean. By the time Lexis was born her mother had gone out of her way to grab as many part time jobs as she could handle, since  a university student barely meeting the fees couldn't take on a child. With her sacrifice, Ri soo brought up Seyeon and eventually managed afford to send her to public school. 

Ri soo wanted the best for Se Yeon, as she always prevented Se Yeon from getting any part-time jobs so that she could focus on her studies. Her mother alays told her not to worry about household things because she could deal with everything herself. Despite her mother repeatedly telling her to focus on her studies and not to even think about getting part-time jobs, she managed to pull off multiple jobs whilst graduating with high honors. Se yeon helped her mother in any way she could think of, sometimes buying grocery she forgot or replacing an old pair of shoes. Until her mother's old university friend, Jaeyong, who's studied phsychology with her brought her into the field of private investigators. Since Jaeyong's old partner was injured from their last case and had to retire.

At first Lexis attended an all-girls school, but because of the way she dressed she would often be targeted as a victim of bullying. Her friendship group would often be restricted to those she sat next to in class. Instead of constantly causing her mother to worry, Seyeon spent most of her time in the library despite not being the "nerdy" type who only studied. It was around that time she bought a second hand guitar with money from her secret side job, using her free time to teach herself how to play the instrument. Whenever she was feeling down, words would easily tumble out of and produce songs to convey her concotion of feelings at the time. Soon singing became became her comfort blanket to her and she would often sing when she was alone. Eventually Lexis' mother transferred her into a co-ed school in hopes she would fit in amongst the others better. Fulfilling her hopes, Lexis managed to make more friends amongst the guys as they could relate to her more.

When f(x) debuted in 2009 people's views started changing a bit and Lexis began looking up to Amber a lot with her style, Lexis was inspired to write more songs and to go beyond having her songs and voice being locked behind the doors of her bedroom and decided to take up the courage to do something for herself. She started posting covers of songs and eventually her own songs on soundcloud. When she was 15 she also started holding small underground gigs. She wasn't big at all and was only doing it for fun, but once her friends at school found out and started attending her gigs, one of them sent her songs to YG Ent and she was scouted. At first she was very surprised and didn't know what to do, but she eventually joined the company as a trainee.

PERSONALITY + Due to misunderstandings or prejudices on tomboys, she's developed a protetcive wall. Rather than standing up to her tormentors, she ignores them but only gets involved if her true friends are being bullied. She will stand up for what is right and challenge others through words, and she is luckily pulled out from a fight by teachers or walks away before anything starts. Used to pushed around by her right shoulder that she still has a habit of holding onto it, as if to protect it. She's seen as a quiet person, but tends to be a person of short words even when she's assigned to group projects. Her smart genes allows her to qork well under pressure, and she is the last resort for teachers when nobody knows the answer. Her little friendship endeavors and lack of social skills has brought her to be an inattentive person, thinking they are sarcastic to her half of the time. Even when she's asked about her personal life, Lexis replies in brief sentences, insisting hers is not extraordindary. Bein her extrovert self she tends to spend most of her time alone if not with one other person to accompany her. Even the slightest actions from others replay in her mind as she thinks of 100 if not 1,000 different possibilities how the scenario may play out. Yet its rare for her to come out with grand gestures of thanks. Rather she bottles up her feeling and blushes or squirms inside. 

She's the type to give in to others if it means that peace is kept, and thinks her pride is a small cost for avoiding conflict. Her friends try to tell her otherwise yet she's convinced its the best choice. She's easily intimidated by pretty girls, so she herself wears quite heavy eyeliner to boost her confidence and also because she was always laughed at in her all-girls school how she looked like a guy. So when she meets people like this she just smiles uncomfortably and shrugs tends to keep the conversation as short as possible. The only two people she opens up to is her best friend, rap battle and met Jackson who was also attending because of her  

TRAINEE BACKGROUND + After music class she would often stick around to practice her guitar skills, that her music teacher would always question why she didn't join any clubs or groups. Yet when the opportunity arrived to participate in a school talent show, her music teacher managed to get her to play onstage as the audience listened in suprise and awe. On deciding her to follow in Amber's footsteps, she joined YG Ent in 2012 after being scouted . Her friends supported her from the start till the finish  even producing amateur music videos covers of her secretly then showing it to her mother. When YG tried to recruit her as a trainee she was still skeptical she could actually make it in the industry, until her mother reassured her that it's normal and she should just go for it. 

Practicing at the company provided a more welcoming atmosphere, yet rivalry was still present underneath those misleading smiles. YG not only had trainees of different shapes and sizes but even international trainees. His popular girl group, 2NE1, even shared a similar style to her. For once she felt comfortable to be surrounded by such diverse people, yet this didn't last long as YG made sure fulfilling their dreams weren't easy. Raw talent meant nothing to him if not nurtured, and practice beyond schedules became everyone's key to survival. Her first days went by fast, and her second evaluation after auditioning showed promise to YG. Soon her creative thinking saved her from being cut, she kept ahead of the game by sleeping in the studio at times and recording back her voice to find any improvements. Her sunbaes were even suprised by her dedication yet when YG asked her to write a song, her usual poetic self disappeared and she cracked under the pressure. That was the first time she got so close to being cut. Her mother and best friend come up with lyrics, but it wasn't until she attended Do Hyun's underground rap battle she met Jackson. They weren't friends straightaway yet bonded when Do Hyun suddenly left them, and they had a chance to have bubble tea together. With similar interests Lexis no longer felt uncomfortable or awkward around him and instead asked him for advice. Little did he know he was her inspiration, and she followed him around to write her lyrics. 

It wasn't easy sailing for her, yet she conquered all until YG finally announced there was an opportunity to debut. 

SCANDALS + As she find its easier to be accepted by guys or fellow tomboys, she's thought to be homoual. Although those who're aware of her gender easily get jealous when she hangs out with Jackson or Mark, especially when they try to teach  her martial arts and have to bear hug each other.

Lexis has a petite frame, yet many mistake her as a boy anyway, insisting that she eats more or visits the gym. Nonetheless there are times that she is complimented for her beautiful features and alluring eyes. She was born with brunette hair and would always get her mother to cut it till it was pixie short and in a boyish cut.

PERSONALITY + A fun, silly guy friend of Se Yeon who she'd met through her best friend Do Hyun. He's quite the show off when it comes to dancing yet he is modest about his skills and compliements others only with the truth. Chihoon is part of an underdog dance crew which was carried on by him for his retired father who's a famed champion within the dance world. He is critical to s but only wishes for them to do well and enjoy the sport as much as they can. Even when faced with the most beautiful girls, Chihoon likes girls for their personality and originality. Since he's had fake girls approach him for the wrong reasons before. He uses aegyo a lot on Lexis but she doesn't give into it and only shows a slight smile or giggle. They borrow each other's accessories and sometimes even clothes. Lastly he prioritises his career in dancing over everything... besides his family, since he's very much a "momma's boy".

RELATIONSHIP + They both believe to have a brother-sister relationship but their hearts say otherwise, yet neither is able to come out with the subject. Mostly end up having playful conversation and are the first two nominated for duo moves at the dojo since they are the best at martial arts. The two bonded over bubble tea and sparred martial arts until exhaustion. Sometimes Chihoon's other dance members would find the two in their dance studio fast asleep on the floor. He normally treats Lexi out after an evaluation, but only to the Diner that he works at with her best friend. Once he forgot and made it up to her by actually cooking a meal for her and personally delivering it to the YG trainee's dorm to suprise herr. 

HISTORY + Chihoon is her best friend's classmate and someone who shares a lot of interest withh Seyeon.  He initially mistook her for a guy, to which she laughed at and walked away as she seemed more mysterious to her. Only at their second meeting did he realise what she'd meant after a martial arts session together because sweat dripped down her petite body and a feminine scent reached his nose. He was a smooth talker and found that as he time went by, she wasn't the ice queen everybody thought she was.
