Hi everyone! This is my first blog post, and I will be talking about the Word Count Writing Contest. I have decided to participate, and will be posting my first ever fanfic on AFF.

It will be named Cordelia's Tale, and is about a mermaid OC and will include the EXO characters: Junmyeon, Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

It is inspired by the song : "Baby Don't Cry" by EXO, one of my favourite songs. It is also largely inspired by the original tale of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Anderson, which is a story I grew up reading. I've decided to incorporate certain scenes from the Disney Movie, "The Little Mermaid" but it will differ from the plot.

Its a really interesting contest, and is the first one that ever got my attention. There has to be a specific wordcount for the story, either 10k or 20k, and must be strictly obeyed.

This is my first contest so I feel nervous, but I am also excited for people to read my story.
