Good Traits
 Determined - Without a doubt, haeun herself knows that once she sets her mind on something, she will do it. She will a hundred percent focus on that one thing and just forget about the rest. She knows that it's all about mind over matter, and if she does what her mind tells her, no matter how her body is, she'll overcome any obstacle

passionate - Everyone who's doing something with the most genuine smile on their faces, they are passionate about it. And that's what haeun has that make her shine a bit brighter than some of the girls. she does music because she didn't choose it, but music chose her (jessi reference!). Because of that, it makes her build a strong beliefe into whatever she believes in. ecspecially in music

Confident - Being confident gets you places. Haeun knows that she has the potential that she can become an idol on her own, because not because of what's in her blood, but what's in her voice. even despite many people who shot her down because of her aspirations, she knows and believes that she has what she takes. I mean, what kind of aspiring idol doesn't have confident in themselves for their dream?

unconventional - What also makes Haeun, haeun is that she is unconventional with who she is. She is not one who does things the "right" way, but she does things the "best" way. She has an unorthodox character about herself. She does things that is contrary to what is usual, traditional, and/or accepted. She's not afraid to against the status quo. Plus, what's life without a bit of risk-taking?

fun - But haeun is still a 19 year old woman. I mean, she has to live a little. When she's not working on her music or a mission, she can be heard before being seen. Because she's been known for laughing her head off. Even the other contestants, say when she's being a total workahoic, she's actually a fun person to hangout with. Because, she has something when she smiles to left up the aura, and not to mention, with her being a rapper, she's very witty with her words and her puns are totally going to make up your day!

aggressive - Once Haeun goes all in, she goes all in. She's not afraid to go all savage, when someone does her wrong. She's not afraid to go confront them. Plus, if there's ever a time in the competition where there's a rap battle, you dead. Because her wit, combined with her blazed up anger, that's a deadly combination

Susceptible - Even despite showing a strong and confident side of her on the TV, she can be pretty susceptible. Not everyone can be strong as an ox, and words do get to her. she does get hurt when she gets compared to her sibling, or get online hate because of it. it honestly makes her feel like she doesn't own to what she thinks of herself. and that influences her, mentally because she wants to think of herself as someone strong, but all it takes is that one bullet, and it takes it's toll on her in no time

Perfectionist - being a workaholic, Haeun wants things to go in a certain direction. And that direction is Perfection (Bars!). Because she needs everything to be perfect because it's what sells, and makes people happy. If anything is sloppy, she has to take the situation in her own hands, and have to work on it, either by herself or with someone who does get it. and it doesn't matter, it could be 2 in the morning, and she's still in the practice room or anywhere she could practice so that she can make it perfect

Strong-willed - Even though strong-willed sounds like a good trait, it's kind of a bad one. because she does what she wants, even if everyone who advise against it. since haeun is determined and a perfectionist it could be a good combination, but also a very bad. because with those two, it makes her a bit blindsided to her health. because there has been a time where she overworked herself to the point that she fainted. But despite that, she still practices as hard as she can, the best that she can.

unforgiving - It takes a lot for Haeun to forgive someone. because of a certain someone, she holds a lot of grudges and doesn't forget or forgive easily. she thinks everything has a reason

Lee haeun was born on june 16th, 1997 as the youngest addition to the Lee family. She has an older sister, which you might have heard of. Her names is Jieun, as in IU. Yes, her older sister is, "The nation's little sister" and she's just her regular sister. Haeun didn't live in a very stable finaincial stable family. Because after Jieun's elementary school years, Haeun and her had to move with their grandmother in uijeongbu. They have lived with their grandmother and cousins for over a year in poverty. 

Iu and her were always close, and usually did everything together. But as soon as Her sister started to get interested in music and becoming a singer, that's when their relationship began to crumble. They start growing distant from each other. Because they're 4 years a part, not many people knew they were siblings because they were caught up in their school lives, but when they were back home, they would always do everything together. Laugh, fight, help, basically everything a sibling does to one another.

Due to the 20th audition and the fake entertainment company, Haeun thought that she would finally have her older sister back. But then she gt accpeted into good entertainment, and after 4 years of training. and the group she was supposed to be debuting, but their company went bankrupt. But she later joined loen entertainement in 2007, when haeun was 10 years old. When she finally signed with a good entertainment, haeun was very excited for her sister, until she announced to her family that she was going to from uijeongbu to seoul. Which was an hour away, leaving haeun alone (well not alone, alone, but alone because haeun was a bit awkward with her cousins because all she did was hang out with her sister), Haeun took a walk outside to get some fresh air, and jieun decided to tag along. but that was a hugh mistake. They got into a heated argument, that went on the lines of haeun saying (okay, more like yelling) stating that jieun was leaving her because her dreams were more important than her, and jieun saying (yelling) that her dreams meant nothing to her. After that fight, things weren't the same between them. They were always trying to avoid each other. So, you can say it was jieun last day leaving under the same roof as haeun and her family, you can say that Haeun had to fake something and didn't show up.

Because Haeun's family couldn't afford a lot of things, She couldn't afford a  phone. So the only time she ever saw her sister was when she was walking back home from school, and pass by the electronics store and see that her sister actually singing on stage. She saw an interview at her debut phase, about her inspiration for the her debut song "missing Child". Luckily there were sounds so haeun could hear what she was about to say. Now her name changed to iu, she said, "It's about someone who was very close to me, but we were seperated. I haven't seen that person for a long time. but with the time I was away from her, I tried to forget everything about that person, but knowing that I will forver love person, but maybe that person doesn't anymore. it hurts and i had become a lost child." Iu teared a bit after she told the mc. What was haeun reaction you may ask? she basically said to herself, "Try harder to forget then."

Haeun didn't really had a lot of friends growing because of being close with her sister, but she soon became close with one thing in particular, and that was hip-hop. Haeun found comfort in music. It was sooner than later that she started to rap. Along the way, maybe a couple years (2 tears - 2009) that Haeun started to notice how her sister dreams came to be. Haeun loved rapping, as much as her sister loved singing.

in 2012, Haeun wrote her own lyrics, and she loved the thought that she could share them with the world on her stories and how she felt. So, she decided to audition for a company, that had stated, "music and artists for healing", she auditioned for bighit entertainment, because if she ever had a chance to debut, she would want majority of control for her music. She auditioned with her own rap that she wrote. Almost 3 weeks later she was contacted by bighit and became a trainee. she has also been featured as the girl in bts's mv in beautiful and featured in "who are you? School 2015" in the song, "return" with red velvet's wendy.

Then, she became aware of the show, trigger. She wanted to try out for the show. and once Bang pd released a statement that one of their trainees might join the show, News broke out that haeun was iu's little sister after some neitizens try to dig something up when Haeun made her rap debut with her song with wendy. Which has caused an uproar from fans with Uaenas (iu's fans) and haeun small, but strong fanbase. There were comments, like, haeun was just trying to ride the coat tails of her sucssesful big sister and she should've kept quiet and let her sister be. and iu released an official staement saying, "it's true that she (lee haeun) is my little sister. I only kept quiet with consideration for her. I didn't know that she was preparing to becoming an idol. but i wish her all the best, because she is, and forever be the person I always love as a sister."

Haeun agency also confirmed the news and stated, "it's true that lee haeun and iu are sisters. we know that they both lived together, and close, but with iu's own plans to debut caused troubles with the communication between the two. She (iu) didn't know about her sister's preperations, but sends support for her sister." 

The two confirmation statements gave a bit of resoultion to the situation, but still hasn't solved everything. Throughout the show, you could say that many of the judges (*cough* Jiwook pd *cough*) and girls expected a lot from her because of being a sister from a big named idol of a sister. Iu tries to contact her sister to support her, but ends up being ignored because haeun was too busy.

Well, we all know that the lee's weren't exactly a rich family. They lived in poverty for majority of their lives causing haeun's parents to seperate from their kids causing them to live with their grandmother and cosuins. haeun was awkward with them because she spent majority of the time with her jieun, but after she moved to seoul, and away from uijeongbu, haeun became close with her grandmother and cousins. Her family supported the kids aspirations and cheers them on.

Lee Jayoon and lee Mindong (parents) / haeun's parents weren't really there for haeun's life because she had to leave them at a young age. But once they heard from her dad's grandmother, that she (haeun) was going to become a singer, supported her and cheers for her from the distance

Lee sookja / Haeun grandmother was the closest thing to  a mother, and talks to her about everything once they got close to each other. Her grandmother has a bit of a rough tongue, which is I think haeun got her wittieness from. (Thanks grandma!)

Lee Jieun a.k.a iu / How can you not know, "The nation's little sister"? Jieun and haeun were close as kids because they usually relied on each otehr when they had to move away from their parents. They were closer than close, but once jieun moved away to become an idol, they started to make miscomunnications with each other. but as of right now, jieun tries to reach out to her sister, but only gets ignored by Haeun

friends.
min yoongi a.k.a suga of bts / these two became close friends with each other when they had a deep respect for hip-hop music. They even collaborated with each other in their pre-debut days. Since yoongi is the type to keep quiet most of the time, he shows his true colors when he's with the people that truly know him. Luckily, haeun  is one of those people. Being close friends with a person like suga, she knows when he's being genuine, and when he's just being an idol. (if that makes sense)

jeon jungkook / These two were close in age, so they weren't really awkward with each other in the beginning. During their schooling and training, they usually practiced with each other whether it was actually training or studying for a test. even though Jungkook is older than haeun by 3 months, he wants Haeun to call him oppa. but we all know that's not ever going to happen soon or ever

Haeun didn't really had much friends because she was close with her sister. so, without her sister to talk to, she was a bit withdrawn from the other kids. But once she became a trainee under bighit, she made a lot of friends with the other trainees because of their love for music and has become quite close with them ever since.
