5 months a mom

So being a single parent, I have learned that thing's that normally require two people, CAN be done by just one person. Conveniant, no. Take for example the first month and a half. Sleep is none existant and you will go 24 or more hours without sleep and turn into a zombie who lashes out at random people. Hygine is a bathe whenever the kid sleeps or eats now, but when they cry every two minuets because of lord knows what, just don't leave the house.

Month two, we are still in the don't sleep and eat finger food mode. Since you are by yourself, expect no help. Here is when the father or other parent offers to buy things like food or diapers. A single parent just pulls up their hair, forgets to wear socks and basiclly visits the store in pajamas.

Month three, congrats you can now sleep for three hours at a time. But what is this, the house is dirty? Well you went without sleep this long. Clae when baby sleeps and eat when he sleeps. YOU NO SLEEP!!

Month four, this is good, your baby sleeps FIVE  hours now. He muses himself and you can eat. but do so quickly. We still need a carseat for the shopping. But, you can now somewhat return to normal life before the baby.

Month Five. You got this. Baby sits up fine and likes the stores, you can eat and feed the baby at the same time. You also no longer panic when the kid does something, and you sometimes forget they have a weekend parent who only shows up when the kid is happy and....ASLEEP! If you are lucky, he will now take a 15 min nap around noon after being up at seven and sqeualing like a dolphin to wake you up. We now sleep almost all night with the ten min wake up at least once to drink and in moms case use the bathroom.

This has been an update on my five months as a single parent. If anyone out there has questions, about anything please ask in the comments.

This is really late but wow you're so strong. Kudos to you for being a single mom. My sister went a long time as a single mom and sometimes it was hard to watch. Anyways, good luck love and may good things come your way!!! \(^·^)/

Reading this makes me love my mom more and more. :') It's not easy to raise children, especially when you're a single parent. And my mom has three.
You're a strong woman. Hope you and your baby always be happy and healthy. /hugs/
