KANZEON'S PROFILE! READ HERE!
a glimpse of her musical talents and experience.
kanzeon became an idol at the age of 14 which is when she began singing professionally. however she had been recieving vocal lessons since the age of 10. she also recieved piano lessons from ages 4-12. her piano skills are rusty since she hasn't played in years.
she wanted to learn to play the bass because she thought it sounded cool and because it was like the heartbeat of a song. it anchors the harmonic framework by emphasising the roots of chord progression and helps lay down the beat like the drums do. her former manager taught her how to play over the course of three years. when joining nascent, she went for the bass position isntead of a vocal position because she wants to be "the heartbeat" of the performance.
her vocal range is eb3-e6, 3 octaves and 1 semitone. her vocal type is light lyric soprano.
she taught herself how to read music from a young age using food names. fourth note was 'bean', eight not was 'taco', and sixteenth note was 'enchilada'. even to this day, she'll read sheet music and mumble the words to herself.

though incredibly confident in her appearance, kanzeon's biggest insecurity is her individuality. she fears that she has no true self due to her former career always forcing her to put on a mask. even now that she is no longer an idol, she has a hard time with the idea of the "real her".
though generally a bubby and cute person, she plays up those traits to keep everyone in high spirits. it's also her subconscious way of making sure people like her because people liked the bubbly & cute kanzeon instead of the quiet & awkward muki and unlearning that habit is something she still genuinely struggles with.
"kanzeon" was constructed as an attempt to make friends due to muki's past as a bully magnet and as a reesult of kanzeon's popularity, muki feels as if no one will like the real her. she doesn't even know who the real her is. she feels hollow because she struggles to realize that all "constructed" personas are actually authentic facets of her real personality.
she has a staggering need for social acceptance and retired from idol life once she realized that people accepted kanzeon more than muki. her desire for acceptance is so strong that she developed hero worship for her boyfriend simply because he said he still likes her even if she doesn't know who she is.
when trying to explain the dichotomy to others, because most people who know her can't tell if there is a difference between kanzeon and muki and most think it's silly to even suggest that the two are different, she describes it as "the me who is not me but has become me and the me who is me but has not become me" which does little besides confusing everyone.

"well, after i left japan, i thought i'd be done with music forever." the tone of her words sounds generic, like any other idol being asked a question on television. "but then i realized that music is as big a part of me as anything else, so i decided to start fresh with a new instrument in order to let myself shine!"

"but wait, my profile's all in japanese... oh well. my specialties include kkab dancing, hand fart songs, selling anything like the ladies on the home shopping network, three verse poems, and kaomoji impressions!!" she list them off in rapid succession, obviously having been asked the question before.
this is the answer where she hesitates, stumbles over her words, flips her smile to a frown and then back again. "i just... wanna find myself while doing something i love. i really love performing and i just want to perform while being comfortable with who i am."
